Position the Sensor in the room safely away
from high-traffic areas. The ideal location is
at the foot of the bed to cover as much of the
floor as possible, including the view of both
sides of the bed for Bed Exits.
Unwrap the cord from the
back of the device. Plug the
cord into an outlet.
Ensure the cord is plugged in
behind the device to avoid a
tripping hazard.
Tap Setup.
Ready to Set-Up the Mobile
Depth Sensor? Tap Yes.
Extend the pole.
Verify Pole Extension.
Tap Done.
Move the sensor back at the bottom
of the bed to capture as much of
the floor as possible.
Verify the floor is detected
(floor appears blue)
Tap Done.

without touching the ceilingor bumping

Plug Unit into Outlet
If the unit is not already powered
on when positioning and setting up
the unit in a patient room, power-up
the unit by pressing and holding
the power button for 4 seconds.

Use the Adustable Pole Knob to Loosen
the pole for extension. Tighten the knob when
the pole is extended to desired position.

Verify the bed is centered on the screen.
NOTE: Do not stand in front
of sensor when bed is being detected.
Verify the bed is recognized
(bed appears with a yellow frame).
*This can take a couple of minutes.
Tap Done.
Select a room.
Tap Select.
Congratulations Setup complete.
Tap Finished.

Tap the Foresite logo.
Are you moving the Foresite Mobile
Depth Sensor? Tap Yes.
Unplug the unit.
The unit retains power for 15-30 minutes
after unplugging. An Alarm sounds when
battery is near depletion.
Tap Done.
Wrap the power cord behind
the unit and secure.
Tap Done.
Lower the pole.
Tap Done.
Roll Unit to another room,tap
the Bed Exit Mode to begin
monitoring in another room.
Tap Shut Down when
storing the unit.

Press the reset button for
four (4) seconds to power down
the unit or reboot.
Press the reset button for
one (1) second to power
on the unit.
Verify the pole is lowered to
safely pass through doors.

Secure unit by locking Adjustable Wheels.
Unlock wheels
Use the Adustable Pole Knob to loosen
the pole in order to lower. Tighten the knob
after lowering the pole height.
