Installation and Operation
Supplying external power is optional, however, to ensure that
each USB port is fully powered, connecting external power is
recommended.
1. Using the appropriate Power Plug for your region, connect the
provided Power Adapter to an AC electrical outlet, and then
connect the Power Adapter to the DC Input on the hub - the hubs
power LED should be lit amber.
2. Using the provided USB 3.0 A - B cable, connect the hubs USB 3.0
host port to an available USB port on your host computer system.
Note: If connected to a USB 2.0 host port, the hub will only operate
at USB 2.0 speeds.
3. Your computers operating system should detect the USB hub and
automatically install it.
4. Connect your USB peripherals to the USB 3.0 hub ports - when
devices are connected, the corresponding LED (1 to 7) should be
lit amber.
