This camera caneither work with 6 AAAlkalinebatteries or9VDCpower.
PleasenotethatthevoltageofrechargeableAAbatteries(1.2V) isinsufficientto
power this device.
b. SolarPanel
To bringusers better usingexperience, ourengineers designed this camera to beable
to work with moststandard 9Vlithiumbatterybuild-in solar panels.
Westronglyrecommend thecameraworks with theoriginals1olar panel.
c. PowerAdapter
Thiscamera canalso bepoweredbyanexternal9VDCadapter.Recommend to
removethealkalinebatteries when power adapter is used, to avoid surcharging.
1.3Caution
a.PleaseinserttheMicro-SD(TF)cardwhenthepower switchison OFFposition
before testingthecamera.
b. Pleasedo notinsertortakeouttheMicro SDcardwhen thepowerswitchison ON
position.
c.Itis recommended to formattheTF-card bythecamerawhen used atthefirsttime.
d. Thecamerawill beinUSBmodewhenconnectedtoaUSBportofacomputer.In
this case, theTF-card functions as aremovabledisk.
e.Pleaseensure sufficientpower whenhavingfirmware upgrade,otherwisethe
upgradeprocess couldbeinterruptedincorrectly.Ifanyfault occursafterimproper
upgradingprocess, thecamera maystop function properly.

Theinfraredremoter is aninput device ofthecamera and primarily
usedforcustomer settings. Itsmaximumremotedistance is 9meters.
Note:Press thepunctuation ” forlaserlight.
Note(UnderTESTmode):
1. Press Shot”directly,thecamera will takepicture orvideodirectly.
2. Press OK”directly, thecapturedpictureorvideocanbeviewed.
3.Viewingpicture, press Up”or Down”.
4.Viewingvideo,press Left”tostart,again to stop,press OK”to
return.

4. FirmwareUpgrade
This camera isequippedwith an automaticupgradefunction foryou. Upgradingis
needed onlywhen an improved firmware is available.Theoperations are as
following:
1. Unzip theupdatefile
2. CopytheFWR801.bintoTFcard.
3. InserttheTFcard into thecamera.
4. Power on thecamera(TestMode).
5. Thecamerawill readit and updateitselfautomatically.Whenupdatingthecamera,
its screen is blackand theindicatorlightwill flash approx10s.
6. Itwill cometo themenu surfaceafter upgradesuccessfully.
7. Deletethefirmware fromtheTFcard.(Ifyou don'tdo this, thecamera will upgrade
everytimewhen power on).
8. InserttheTFcard into thecameraforits working.
