d. Thecamerawill beinUSBmodewhenconnectedtoaUSBportofacomputer.In
this case, theTF-card functions as aremovabledisk.
e.Pleaseensure sufficientpower whenhavingfirmware upgrade,otherwisethe
upgradeprocess couldbeinterruptedincorrectly.Ifanyfault occursafterimproper
upgradingprocess, thecamera maystop function properly.

3.3Remoter
Theinfraredremoter isaninputdevice ofthecamera and primarilyusedfor
customer settings. Its maximumremotedistance is 9 meters.

Press thepunctuation “ ” for laserlight.
Note(Under TESTmode):
1. Press Shot”directly,thecamera will takepicture orvideodirectly.
2. Press OK”directly, thepicture orvideorecordedcanbeviewed.
3.Viewingpicture, press Up”or Down”.
4.Viewingvideo,press Left”tostart,again to stop,press OK”to
return.
3.4Poweron
SlidePower SwitchfromOFFtoTest(forsetting)thentoON position,thecamera
powers on.(Pleasedon’tslidethepower switch fromOFF to ON directly)
3.4.1TEST
InTESTmode, therearetwo ways to setthemenu:
1).Connect thecamerawithTVviaTVcables to set themenu by remoter.

a. After you insertedtheTFtocamera,connectwiththecomputer byUSB cable,
then thecamera will bearemovabledisk.
b. Open theMMSCONGIFsoftware,you canchangetheLanguage,Workingmode
(Camera/Camera+Video/Video),Resolution(12/8/5MP/1080P/720P/VGA),Multi(1/3/
6/9),Camera ID(26alphabet+number),Date/time,Timer etc. in it.
c.After you donethemenu setting,pleaseclick save”,thenthereisafile
named ”parameter.dat”produced, pleasesavethis filetoTFcard . (don’trename)

3.4.2ON
Inthismode,remoter isuseless. Thecameraworks automatically.Will capture if
detectedanymotions byPIR.
4. FirmwareUpgrade
Thiscamera isequippedwithanautomaticupgradefunction foryou. Upgradingis
neededonlywhenanimprovedfirmwareisavailable.Theoperations areas
following:
1. Unzip theupdatefile
2. CopytheFWR801.bintoTFcard.
3. InserttheTFcard into thecamera.
4. Power on thecamera（TestMode）.
5. Thecamerawill readit and updateitselfautomatically.Whenupdatingthecamera,
its screen is blackand theindicatorlightwill flash approx10s.
6. Itwill cometo themenu surfaceafter upgradesuccessfully.
7. Deletethefirmware fromtheTFcard.(Ifyou don'tdo this, thecamera will upgrade
everytimewhen power on).
8. InserttheTFcard into thecameraforits working.
