• Wenden Sie sich an eine Fachkraft, wenn Sie Zweifel über die Arbeitsweise, die

wortet werden, wenden Sie sich an unseren technischen Kundendienst oder an

b) Anschluss und Betrieb
• Der Aufbau des Produkts entspricht der Schutzklasse I. Als Spannungsquelle für
das Produkt darf nur eine ordnungsgemäße Schutzkontakt-Netzsteckdose ver-
wendet werden.
• Die Netzsteckdose, in die der Countdown-Timer eingesteckt wird, muss leicht
zugänglich sein.
• Das Produkt ist mit einem erhöhten Berührungsschutz ausgestattet. Nur wenn
beide Kontakte eines Netzsteckers in beide Öffnungen gleichzeitig eingeführt wer-
den, gibt die integrierte Mechanik die Öffnung der Steckdose frei.
Lassen Sie in Anwesenheit von Kindern besondere Vorsicht walten. Kinder kön-
nen die Gefahren, die beim falschen Umgang mit elektrischen Geräten entstehen,
nicht erkennen. Es besteht Lebensgefahr durch einen elektrischen Schlag!
• Das Produkt ist nur für den Betrieb in trockenen, geschlossenen Innenräumen
geeignet. Das gesamte Produkt darf nicht feucht oder nass werden, fassen Sie
es niemals mit nassen Händen an! Platzieren Sie das Produkt niemals in der
unmittelbaren Umgebung eines Bades, einer Dusche, Badewanne o.ä. Es besteht
Lebensgefahr durch einen elektrischen Schlag!
• Benutzen Sie das Produkt nur in gemäßigtem Klima, nicht in tropischem Klima.
• Der Betrieb in Umgebungen mit hohem Staubanteil, mit brennbaren Gasen,
Dämpfen oder Lösungsmitteln ist nicht gestattet. Es besteht Explosions- und
Brandgefahr!
• Betreiben Sie den Countdown-Timer niemals in einem Fahrzeug.
• Verbinden Sie das Produkt niemals gleich dann mit der Netzspannung, wenn es
von einem kalten Raum in einen warmen Raum gebracht wurde (z.B. bei Trans-
port). Das dabei entstehende Kondenswasser kann unter Umständen das Produkt
zerstören oder zu einem elektrischen Schlag führen! Lassen Sie das Produkt zu-
erst auf Zimmertemperatur kommen. Warten Sie, bis das Kondenswasser ver-
dunstet ist, dies kann einige Stunden dauern. Erst danach darf das Produkt mit der
Stromversorgung verbunden und in Betrieb genommen werden.
• Ziehen Sie einen in die Frontsteckdose des Countdown-Timers eingesteckten
Netzstecker niemals am Kabel heraus. Fassen Sie den Stecker an den seitlichen
Griffächen an und ziehen Sie ihn aus der Frontsteckdose heraus.
• Überlasten Sie den Countdown-Timer nicht. Beachten Sie die Anschlussleistung
im Kapitel „Technische Daten“.
• Ziehen Sie den Countdown-Timer immer aus der Netzsteckdose, bevor Sie sie
reinigen oder wenn Sie sie für längere Zeit nicht benutzen.
• Gießen Sie nie Flüssigkeiten über oder neben dem Produkt aus. Es besteht
höchste Gefahr eines Brandes oder lebensgefährlichen elektrischen Schlages.
Sollte dennoch Flüssigkeit ins Geräteinnere gelangt sein, schalten Sie sofort
die Netzsteckdose, an der der Countdown-Timer angeschlossen ist, allpolig ab
(Sicherung/Sicherungsautomat/FI-Schutzschalter des zugehörigen Stromkreises
abschalten). Ziehen Sie erst danach den Countdown-Timer aus der Netzsteckdo-
se und wenden Sie sich an eine Fachkraft. Betreiben Sie das Produkt nicht mehr.
• Nicht hintereinanderstecken! Dies kann zu einer Überlastung des Countdown-
Timers führen! Es besteht Brandgefahr!
• Nicht abgedeckt betreiben! Bei höheren Anschlussleistungen erwärmt sich der
Countdown-Timer, was beim Abdecken zu einer Überhitzung und ggf. einem
Brand führen kann!
• Spannungsfrei nur bei gezogenem Stecker!
• Wenn der Countdown-Timer Beschädigungen aufweist, so fassen Sie ihn nicht
an, es besteht Lebensgefahr durch einen elektrischen Schlag!
Schalten Sie zuerst die Netzspannung für die Netzsteckdose ab, an der der
Countdown-Timer angeschlossen ist (zugehörigen Sicherungsautomat abschal-
ten bzw. Sicherung herausdrehen, anschließend FI-Schutzschalter abschalten, so
dass die Netzsteckdose allpolig von der Netzspannung getrennt ist).
Ziehen Sie erst danach den Countdown-Timer aus der Netzsteckdose. Verwen-
den Sie den beschädigten Countdown-Timer nicht mehr, sondern entsorgen Sie
ihn umweltgerecht.

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Das Produkt verfügt über eine Steckdose, die über den eingebauten mechanischen Timer nach
einer einstellbaren Zeit (max. 60 Minuten) ausgeschaltet wird.
Das Produkt ist nur für den Betrieb in trockenen, geschlossenen Innenräumen geeignet.
Das Produkt muss an eine Schutzkontakt-Netzsteckdose angeschlossen werden. Die An-
schlussdaten und die max. zulässige Leistungsaufnahme des angeschlossenen Verbrauchers
nden Sie im Kapitel „Technische Daten“.
Aus Sicherheits- und Zulassungsgründen dürfen Sie das Produkt nicht umbauen und/oder ver-
ändern. Falls Sie das Produkt für andere Zwecke verwenden, als zuvor beschrieben, kann das
Produkt beschädigt werden. Außerdem kann eine unsachgemäße Verwendung Gefahren wie
z.B. Kurzschluss, Brand, Stromschlag, etc. hervorrufen. Lesen Sie sich die Bedienungsanlei-
tung genau durch und bewahren Sie diese auf. Reichen Sie das Produkt nur zusammen mit

a) Allgemein

Vorbereitung
Im Lieferumfang benden sich Typenschilder in verschiedenen Sprachen. Überkleben Sie das
deutschsprachige Typenschild des Countdown-Timers mit demjenigen in der für Sie passen-
den Sprache.
Anschluss eines Geräts an den Countdown-Timer
• Stellen Sie am Countdown-Timer die gewünschte Timerzeit ein, siehe nächstes Kapitel).
• Schalten Sie das Gerät, das Sie am Countdown-Timer anschließen wollen, aus (sofern es
über einen Ein-/Ausschalter verfügt).
• Stecken Sie das Gerät an der Steckdose des Countdown-Timers an. Schieben Sie den Ste-
cker vollständig in die Steckdose des Countdown-Timers.
• Schalten Sie das Gerät ein.
• Abhängig von der Stellung des Einstellrings am Countdown-Timer ist das angeschlossene
Gerät eingeschaltet. Nach dem Ablauf der eingestellten Countdown-Zeit wird das Gerät au-
tomatisch ausgeschaltet.
Soll die Timerzeit vorzeitig beendet werden, drehen Sie den Einstellring langsam
nach rechts im Uhrzeigersinn, bis der Pfeil „ “ im Inneren des Rings auf die Po-
sition „OFF“ (ausgeschaltet) zeigt. Der Countdown-Timer und der angeschlossene
Verbraucher wird dabei ausgeschaltet.
Einstellung der Timerzeit
Drehen Sie den äußeren Einstellring mit den aufgedruckten Zeiteinteilungen nach rechts im
Uhrzeigersinn (Pfeile am äußeren Rand des Einstellrings beachten), bis der Pfeil „ “ im Inne-
ren des Rings auf die gewünschte Timerzeit zeigt. Die Steckdose und damit auch der ange-
schlossene Verbraucher wird automatisch eingeschaltet.
Drehen Sie den Einstellring nur nach rechts im Uhrzeigersinn, er lässt sich leicht
drehen.
Die Drehung nach links entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn ist nicht möglich! Wenden Sie
keine Gewalt an! Der Countdown-Timer wird dadurch zerstört, Verlust von Gewähr-
leistung/Garantie!
Der Countdown-Timer läuft nur dann, wenn das Produkt mit Strom versorgt wird, also in einer
aktiven Netzsteckdose steckt.
Nach Ablauf der Timerzeit wird der angeschlossene Verbraucher ausgeschaltet, der Count-
down-Timer ist ebenfalls ausgeschaltet. Der Pfeil „ “ im Inneren des Rings zeigt auf die Po-
sition „OFF“ (ausgeschaltet).
Soll wieder ein Timerlauf gestartet werden, gehen Sie wie oben beschrieben vor.
Pege und Reinigung
Bevor Sie das Produkt reinigen, stecken Sie einen angeschlossenen Verbraucher vom Count-
down-Timer ab. Trennen Sie anschließend den Countdown-Timer von der Stromversorgung,
ziehen Sie ihn vollständig aus der Netzsteckdose heraus.
Verwenden Sie auf keinen Fall aggressive Reinigungsmittel, Reinigungsalkohol oder andere
chemische Lösungen, da dadurch das Gehäuse angegriffen oder gar die Funktion beeinträch-
tigt werden kann.
Verwenden Sie ein trockenes, faserfreies Tuch zur Reinigung des Produkts.
Entsorgung
Alle Elektro- und Elektronikgeräte, die auf den europäischen Markt gebracht wer-
den, müssen mit diesem Symbol gekennzeichnet werden. Dieses Symbol weist da-
rauf hin, dass dieses Gerät am Ende seiner Lebensdauer getrennt von unsortiertem
Siedlungsabfall zu entsorgen ist.
Jeder Besitzer von Altgeräten ist verpichtet, Altgeräte einer vom unsortierten
Siedlungsabfall getrennten Erfassung zuzuführen. Die Endnutzer sind verpichtet,
Altbatterien und Altakkumulatoren, die nicht vom Altgerät umschlossen sind, sowie

b) Connection and operation
• The product‘s design complies with protection class I. Only an earthed mains
socket connected to the public power supply may be used as power supply to
the product.
• The mains socket into which the countdown timer is plugged must be easily ac-
cessible.
• The product is equipped with an enhanced protection against accidental contact.
An integrated mechanism will release the holes of the receptacle only, if the two
prongs of a power plug are inserted into the two holes at once.
Take special caution when children are around. Children cannot recognize the
danger arising from the incorrect use of electrical devices. There is a risk of a
life-threatening electric shock!
• The product is only intended for use in dry indoor locations. No part of the product
should become damp or wet; never handle it if your hands are wet! Never place
the product in the direct vicinity of a bathroom, shower, bathtub or the like. Lethal
hazard due to electric shock!
• Use the product only in a temperate climate, never in a tropical climate.
• Do not operate the device in environments where there are high levels of dust,
ammable gases, vapours or solvents. There is a danger of re and explosion!
• Never operate the countdown timer in a vehicle.
• Do not connect the product to the power supply immediately after it has been
transferred from a cold room into a warm one (e.g., during transport). The conden-
sation that forms might destroy the device. Moreover, there is danger of electric
shock! Allow the product to reach room temperature. Wait until the condensation
has evaporated. This might take several hours. Only after this should the product
be plugged into the power supply and put into use.
• Never pull out a mains plug that is connected to the front outlet of the countdown
timer by pulling on its cable. Always pull the plug out of the front socket by gripping
the area provided for this purpose on its sides.
• Do not overload the countdown timer. Observe the connected load in the chapter
“Technical data”.
• Always unplug the countdown timer from the mains socket before cleaning it or
when the device will not be used for a long time.
• Never pour any liquids above or next to the product. You run the risk of causing a
re or a fatal electric shock.
However, if liquid has entered the device, immediately turn off the power supply to
the mains socket to which the countdown timer is connected (turn off the fuse / cir-
cuit breaker / residual current operated circuit breaker of the associated circuits).
Only then can you unplug the countdown timer from the mains socket and contact
a specialist. Do not use the product any longer.
• Do not connect in series! This can lead to an overloading of the countdown timer!
There is a risk of re!
• Do not operate while covered! At higher connected loads, the countdown timer be-
comes hot, which could lead to overheating and, potentially, a re if it is covered!
• Only voltage-free when the plug is unplugged!
• If the countdown timer is damaged, do not touch it; there is a danger to life from
electric shock!
First, switch off the mains voltage to the socket, to which the countdown timer is
connected (switch off at the corresponding circuit breaker or remove the safety
fuse or switch off at the corresponding RCD protective switch, so that all poles of
the mains socket are disconnected).
Then you can remove the countdown timer from the mains socket. Do not use the
damaged countdown timer any more, dispose of it in an environmentally friendly
way.

Intended use
This product is equipped with a power outlet which can be switched off after a set period of time
(up to 60 minutes) via the integrated mechanical timer.
The product is only intended for use in dry indoor locations.
The product must be connected to an earthed mains socket. See chapter “Technical data” for
information on connection and the maximum permissible power consumption of the connected
electrical loads.
For safety and approval reasons, you may not convert and/or alter the product. If you use the
product for purposes other than those described above, you may inict damage on it. Further-
more, improper use involves risks such as short-circuits, re, electric shocks, etc. Please read
the operating instructions carefully and do not discard them. If you pass the product on to a third
party, please hand over these operating instructions as well.

a) General information
• The product is not a toy. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a danger-
ous plaything for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong vibrations,
high humidity, moisture, combustible gases, vapours and solvents.
• Never expose the product to mechanical stress.
• If safe operation is no longer possible, take the device out of service and secure
it against unintended use. Safe operation is no longer possible, if the product:
- shows visible signs of damage,
- no longer functions properly,
- has been stored under adverse ambient conditions for an extended period of
time or
- has been exposed to considerable strain during transport.
• Please handle the product with care. The product can be damaged if crushed,
struck or dropped, even from a low height.

Preparation
Type labels in different languages are included in the package. Stick the language label in your
language over the German language label on the countdown timer.
Connecting a device to the countdown timer
• Set the desired time on the countdown timer (see next chapter).
• Switch off the device that you want to connect to the countdown timer (provided it has an
on/off switch).
• Plug the device into the outlet of the countdown timer, inserting the plug all the way.
• Switch the device on.
• Depending on the position of the setting ring on the countdown timer, the connected device
is switched on. The device is switched off automatically after the set countdown time expires.
Should the timer stop earlier than expected, slowly turn the setting ring to the right
(clockwise) until the arrow “ ” inside the ring points to the position “OFF”. The
countdown timer and the connected device are switched off.
Setting the countdown time
Turn the outer setting ring with the printed time division‘s clockwise (paying attention to the
arrows on the outer edge of the ring) until the arrow “ ” inside the ring indicates the desired
countdown time. The outlet as well as the connected device are switched on automatically.
Turn the setting ring only to the right (clockwise), it can be moved easily.
It is not possible to turn it anti-clockwise! Do not exert any force as this will destroy
the countdown timer and void the warranty!
The countdown timer only works when it is supplied with electricity, i.e. when it is connected to
an active mains socket.
Once the set countdown time has expired, the connected device as well as the countdown
timer are switched off. The arrow “ ” inside the ring points to the position “OFF”.
If you wish to start a new countdown, proceed as described above.
Care and cleaning
Before cleaning the product, disconnect any device from the countdown timer. Disconnect then
the countdown timer from the power supply by pulling it out completely from the mains socket.
Never use abrasive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions, since these
could damage the housing or even impair operation.
Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
Disposal
This symbol must appear on any electrical and electronic equipment placed on the
EU market. This symbol indicates that this device should not be disposed of as
unsorted municipal waste at the end of its service life.
Owners of WEEE (Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment) shall dispose
of it separately from unsorted municipal waste. Spent batteries and accumulators,
which are not enclosed by the WEEE, as well as lamps that can be removed from
the WEEE in a non-destructive manner, must be removed by end users from the
WEEE in a non-destructive manner before it is handed over to a collection point.
Distributors of electrical and electronic equipment are legally obliged to provide free take-back

b) Aansluiting en gebruik
• De constructie van het product voldoet aan beschermklasse I. Gebruik als span-
ningbron voor het product uitsluitend een voorgeschreven geaarde netcontact-
doos.
• De contactdoos waarin de stekker van de countdown-timer wordt gestoken, moet
gemakkelijk toegankelijk zijn.
• Het product is uitgerust met verbeterde aanraakbeveiliging. Alleen wanneer bei-
de contacten van een stekker tegelijkertijd in beide openingen worden gestoken,
opent het geïntegreerde mechanisme de opening van het stopcontact.
Wees dus extra voorzichtig als er kinderen in de buurt zijn. Kinderen kunnen de
gevaren niet inschatten die ontstaan als elektrische apparaten op verkeerde wijze
gebruikt worden. Er bestaat levensgevaar door een elektrische schok!
• Het product is uitsluitend geschikt voor gebruik in gesloten, droge ruimten bin-
nenshuis. Laat het samengestelde product niet vochtig of nat worden. Raak het
product nimmer met natte handen aan! Plaats het product nooit in de directe om-
geving van een badkamer, een douche, badkuip o.i.d. Er bestaat levensgevaar
door een elektrische schok!
• Gebruik het product uitsluitend in een gematigd klimaat, niet in een tropisch kli-
maat.
• Het gebruik van het product in een omgeving met veel stof, met brandbare gas-
sen, dampen of oplosmiddelen is niet toegestaan. Er bestaat dan gevaar voor
explosies en/of brand!
• U mag de countdown-timer nimmer in een voertuig gebruiken.
• Sluit het product nimmer onmiddellijk op de netspanning aan als u dat product van
een koude omgeving naar een warme omgeving hebt gebracht (bijvoorbeeld na
transport). Het condens dat daarbij ontstaat kan in bepaalde situaties onherstel-
bare schade aan het product toebrengen of kan u elektrische schokken bezorgen!
Laat het product eerst op kamertemperatuur komen. Wacht tot het condens is
verdampt. Dit kan enkele uren duren. Sluit pas daarna het product aan op de
elektrische voeding om het product in werking te kunnen stellen.
• Trek een in de contactdoos aan de voorzijde van de countdown-timer geplaatste
netsteker nimmer uit door aan het snoer te trekken. Neem de steker bij de zijgre-
pen vast, en trek de steker op die manier uit de contactdoos aan de voorzijde.
• De countdown-timer niet overbelasten. Neem het aansluitvermogen in acht, zoals
vermeld in het hoofdstuk “Technische specicaties”.
• Trek de countdown-timer altijd uit de contactdoos voordat u hem schoonmaakt, of
wanneer u hem langere tijd niet gebruikt.
• Giet nooit vloeistoffen op of naast het product. Dit kan tot brand of levensgevaar-
lijke elektrische schokken leiden.
Is er toch nog vloeistof in het inwendige van het apparaat gekomen? Schakel dan
onverwijld de netcontactdoos, waarin u de countdown-timer hebt geplaatst, op alle
polen uit (zekering / veiligheidautomaat/ zwerf-/lekstroomschakelaar van het be-
treffende stroomcircuit). Trek daarna pas de countdown-timer uit de contactdoos
en neem contact op met een vakman. Gebruik het product niet meer.
• Niet in serie schakelen! Dit kan tot een overbelasting van de countdown-timer
leiden! Gevaar voor brand!
• Niet afgedekt gebruiken! Bij hogere aansluitvermogens wordt de countdown-timer
warm, wat bij afdekking kan resulteren in een oververhitting en eventueel tot brand
kan leiden!
• Het product is uitsluitend vrij van spanning als u de steker uit de contactdoos hebt
getrokken!
• Is de countdown-timer beschadigd? Raak dan de thermostaat niet aan. Uw leven
kan door elektrische schokken gevaar lopen!
Schakel eerst de netspanning uit van de contactdoos waaraan de countdown-ti-
mer is aangesloten (door de bijbehorende zekeringautomaat uit te schakelen
resp. zekering eruit te draaien, aangesloten FI-aardlekschakelaar uit te schakelen,
zodat de contactdoos van alle polen ontkoppeld is).
Pas daarna mag u de countdown-timer uit het stopcontact nemen. Gebruik een
beschadigde countdown-timer niet langer. Verwijder de thermostaat op een mili-
euvriendelijke wijze.

Het product beschikt over een stekkerdoos die via de ingebouwde mechanische timer na een
instelbare tijd (max. 60 minuten) uitgeschakeld wordt.
Het product is uitsluitend geschikt voor gebruik in gesloten, droge ruimten binnenshuis.
Sluit dit product aan op een geaarde netcontactdoos. De aansluitgegevens en het maximaal
toegestane totale aansluitvermogen van alle aangesloten verbruikers treft u aan u in de para-
graaf “Technische specicaties”.
Om veiligheids- en vergunningsredenen is het ombouwen en/of veranderen van het product
niet toegestaan. Indien u het product voor andere doeleinden gebruikt dan hiervoor beschre-
ven, dan kan het beschadigd raken. Bovendien kan oneigenlijk gebruik resulteren in kortslui-
ting, brand, elektrische schokken en dergelijke. Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing nauwkeurig en be-
waar ze goed. Geef het product uitsluitend samen met de gebruiksaanwijzing door aan derden.

a) Algemeen
• Dit product is geen speelgoed. Houd het product uit de buurt van kinderen en
huisdieren.
• Laat verpakkingsmateriaal niet achteloos liggen. Dit kan gevaarlijk speelgoed voor
kinderen vormen.
• Bescherm het product tegen extreme temperaturen, direct invallend zonlicht,
zware schokken, hoge vochtigheid, vocht, brandbare gassen, dampen en oplos-
middelen.
• Stel het product niet bloot aan mechanische belastingen.
• Gebruik het product niet meer als de veilige werking ervan niet langer mogelijk
is. Borg het product tegen onbedoeld gebruik. Een veilig gebruik is niet langer
verzekerd als het product:
- zichtbare schade vertoont,
- niet meer naar behoren functioneert,
- gedurende langere tijd onder ongunstige omstandigheden werd opgeslagen, of
- aan zware transportbelastingen werd blootgesteld.

Voorbereiding
De levering omvat typeplaatjes in verscheidene talen. Plak het typeplaatje met de voor u toe-
passelijke taal over het Duitstalige typeplaatje van de countdown-timer.
Apparaat op de countdown-timer aansluiten
• Stel op de countdown-timer de gewenste timertijd in, zie het volgende hoofdstuk).
• Schakel het apparaat dat u op de countdown-timer wilt aansluiten uit (indien deze over een
aan-/uitschakelaar beschikt).
• Sluit het apparaat op de contactdoos van de countdown-timer aan. Schuif de stekker volledig
in de contactdoos van de countdown-timer.
• Schakel het apparaat in.
• Afhankelijk van de stand van de instelring op de countdown-timer is het aangesloten appa-
raat ingeschakeld. Na aoop van de ingestelde countdown-tijd wordt het apparaat automa-
tisch uitgeschakeld.
Indien de timer-tijd voortijdig beëindigd moet worden draait u de instelring langzaam
naar rechts met de klok mee tot de pijl “ ” in het binnenste van de ring op de positie
“OFF” (uitgeschakeld) staat. De countdown-timer en het aangesloten apparaat wor-
den daarbij uitgeschakeld.
Instelling van de timertijd
Draai de buitenste instelring met de opgedrukte tijdsindelingen naar rechts met de klok mee
(kijk naar de pijl op de buitenste rand van de instelring), tot de pijl “ ” in de binnenste ring op
de gewenste timertijd staat. De contactdoos en daarmee ook het aangesloten apparaat worden
automatisch ingeschakeld.
Draai de instelring alleen naar rechts met de klok mee, deze kan gemakkelijk ge-
draaid worden.
Draaien naar links tegen de wijzers van de klok in is niet mogelijk! Gebruik geen
geweld! De countdown-timer raakt daardoor beschadigd, waarborg-/garantieverlies!
De countdown-timer zal enkel werken als het product met stroom gevoed wordt, dus op een
actief stopcontact aangesloten is.
Na aoop van de timertijd wordt het aangesloten apparaat uitgeschakeld, de countdown-timer
is eveneens uitgeschakeld. De pijl “ ” in het binnenste van de ring geeft de positie “OFF”
(uitgeschakeld) aan.
Als een nieuwe tijdsperiode gestart moet worden, gaat u weer als boven beschreven te werk.
Onderhoud en schoonmaken
Neem de steker van de aangesloten verbruiker uit de countdown-timer voordat u dit product
gaat schoonmaken. Scheid vervolgens de countdown-timer van het elektriciteitsnet door hem
volledig uit de netcontactdoos te trekken.
Gebruik in geen geval agressieve schoonmaakmiddelen, reinigingsalcohol of andere chemi-
sche oplosmiddelen, omdat hierdoor de behuizing aangetast of de algehele werking negatief
beïnvloed kan worden.
Gebruik een droge, pluisvrije doek om het product schoon te maken.
Verwijdering
Alle elektrische en elektronische apparatuur die op de Europese markt wordt ge-
bracht, moet met dit symbool zijn gemarkeerd. Dit symbool geeft aan dat dit appa-
raat aan het einde van zijn levensduur gescheiden van het ongesorteerd gemeen-
telijk afval moet worden weggegooid.
Iedere bezitter van oude apparaten is verplicht om oude apparaten gescheiden van
het ongesorteerd gemeentelijk afval af te voeren. Eindgebruikers zijn verplicht oude
batterijen en accu‘s die niet bij het oude apparaat zijn ingesloten, evenals lampen
die op een niet-destructieve manier uit het oude toestel kunnen worden verwijderd,
van het oude toestel te scheiden alvorens ze in te leveren bij een inzamelpunt.
Distributeurs van elektrische en elektronische apparatuur zijn wettelijk verplicht om oude appa-

Voor het verwijderen van persoonsgegevens op het te verwijderen oude apparaat is de eind-
gebruiker verantwoordelijk.
Houd er rekening mee dat in landen buiten Duitsland andere verplichtingen kunnen gelden
voor het inleveren van oude apparaten en het recyclen van oude apparaten.

b) Collegamento e messa in funzione
• Il design del prodotto è conforme alla classe di protezione I. Lo stesso può essere
alimentato solo tramite una presa di corrente con messa a terra collegata alla rete
elettrica pubblica.
• La presa elettrica alla quale è inserito il timer per il conto alla rovescia deve essere
facilmente accessibile.
• Il prodotto è dotato di una protezione avanzato contro i contatti accidentali. Solo se
entrambi i contatti di una spina sono inseriti contemporaneamente nelle aperture
di alimentazione, un meccanismo integrato apre i fori della presa.
Prestare particolare attenzione in presenza di bambini. poiché non sono in grado
di valutare da soli i pericoli derivanti dall’utilizzo di apparecchi elettrici. Potrebbe
vericarsi una scarica elettrica mortale!
• Il prodotto è destinato esclusivamente all’uso in ambienti interni e asciutti. Evitare
che si bagni o inumidisca qualsiasi parte del prodotto; evitare in qualsiasi caso
di utilizzare il prodotto con le mani bagnate! Evitare in ogni caso di collocare il
prodotto nelle immediate vicinanze di un bagno, di una doccia, di una vasca da
bagno o luoghi simili. Pericolo di morte per scosse elettriche!
• Utilizzare il prodotto solo in condizioni climatiche temperate, ma non in climi tro-
picali.
• Non azionare l'apparecchio in ambienti con livelli elevati di polvere o gas, vapori e
solventi inammabili. Vi è rischio di incendio e di esplosione.
• Evitare in qualsiasi caso di utilizzare il timer per il conto alla rovescia all’interno
di veicoli.
• Non collegare il prodotto all'alimentazione subito dopo averlo trasferito da un am-
biente freddo ad un ambiente caldo (ad es. durante il trasporto). La condensa
generata potrebbe danneggiare irrimediabilmente il dispositivo. Sussiste inoltre il
pericolo di scossa elettrica. Consentire al prodotto di raggiungere la temperatu-
ra ambiente. Attendere che la condensa evapori. Ciò potrebbe richiedere alcune
ore. Solo a questo punto sarà possibile collegare il prodotto all’alimentazione e
utilizzarlo.
• Evitare in qualsiasi caso di rimuovere la spina di rete collegata alla presa anteriore
del timer per il conto alla rovescia tirandola per il cavo. Rimuovere sempre la spina
dalla presa anteriore afferrandola per l'apposita area laterale.
• Evitare di sovraccaricare il timer per il conto alla rovescia. Osservare il carico di
collegamento consentito nel capitolo “Dati tecnici”.
• Scollegare sempre il timer per il conto alla rovescia dalla presa di corrente prima di
pulirlo o quando l'apparecchio non viene utilizzato per periodi di tempo prolungati.
• Non versare mai liquidi sopra o vicino al prodotto. Si corre il pericolo di provocare
un incendio o una scossa elettrica fatale.
Tuttavia, nel caso in cui penetri del liquido all'interno del dispositivo, disattivare
immediatamente l'alimentazione della presa di corrente alla quale è collegato il
timer per il conto alla rovescia (spegnere il fusibile / l'interruttore automatico /
l'interruttore differenziale dei circuiti associati). Solamente a questo punto sarà
possibile scollegare il timer per il conto alla rovescia dalla presa di corrente e
contattare un tecnico. Evitare ulteriori utilizzi del prodotto.
• Evitare il collegamento in serie! Ciò può portare a un sovraccarico del timer per il
conto alla rovescia! Sussiste il rischio di incendio.
• Non azionare il prodotto quando è coperto. In caso di carichi collegati più elevati,
il timer per il conto alla rovescia aumenta la sua temperatura, il che potrebbe por-
tare al surriscaldamento e potenzialmente ad un incendio nel caso in cui venisse
coperto.
• L’assenza di tensione è garantita solo quando la spina è scollegata!
• Se il timer per il conto alla rovescia è danneggiato, non utilizzarlo, poiché potrebbe
causare scosse elettriche.
Per prima cosa, scollegare la tensione di rete dalla presa alla quale è collegato il
timer per il conto alla rovescia (spegnere l'interruttore di circuito corrispondente o
rimuovere il fusibile di sicurezza, oppure spegnere il relativo interruttore di prote-
zione RCD, in modo che tutti i poli della presa di corrente siano scollegati).
A questo punto sarà possibile rimuovere il timer per il conto alla rovescia dalla
presa di corrente. Evitare ulteriori utilizzi del timer per il conto alla rovescia dan-
neggiato e smaltirlo nel rispetto dell'ambiente.

Il presente prodotto è dotato di una presa di corrente che può essere spenta dopo un determi-
nato periodo di tempo (no a 60 minuti) tramite il timer meccanico integrato.
Il prodotto è destinato esclusivamente all’uso in ambienti interni e asciutti.
Il prodotto deve essere collegato a una presa di corrente dotata di messa a terra. Vedere il
capitolo “Dati tecnici” per ottenere informazioni sul collegamento e il massimo consumo di
energia consentito dei carichi elettrici collegati.
Per motivi di sicurezza e in base alle normative, la conversione e/o l’alterazione del prodotto
non sono consentite. Qualora si utilizzi il prodotto per scopi diversi da quelli descritti, il prodot-

Collegamento di un dispositivo al timer per il conto alla rovescia
• Impostare il tempo desiderato sul timer per il conto alla rovescia (si veda il capitolo succes-
sivo).
• Spegnere il dispositivo che si desidera collegare al timer per il conto alla rovescia (a condi-
zione che sia dotato di un interruttore di accensione/spegnimento).
• Collegare il dispositivo alla presa del timer per il conto alla rovescia, inserendo la spina no
in fondo.
• Accendere il dispositivo.
• A seconda della posizione dell’anello di regolazione sul timer per il conto alla rovescia, il
dispositivo collegato si accende. Il dispositivo si spegne automaticamente allo scadere del
tempo del conto alla rovescia impostato.
In caso di interruzione del timer prima del tempo previsto, ruotare lentamente l’a-
nello di regolazione verso destra (in senso orario) nché la freccia “ ” all'interno
dell’anello non indica la posizione di spegnimento “OFF”. Il timer per il conto alla
rovescia e il dispositivo collegato vengono spenti.
Impostazione del timer per il conto alla rovescia
Ruotare l’anello di regolazione esterno con la ripartizione oraria stampata in senso orario (fa-
cendo attenzione alle frecce sul bordo esterno dell’anello) nché la freccia “ ” all’interno dell’a-
nello non indica il tempo desiderato per il conto alla rovescia. La presa e il dispositivo collegato
si accendono automaticamente.
Ruotare l’anello di regolazione esclusivamente a destra (in senso orario), può esse-
re spostata facilmente.
Non è possibile ruotarlo in senso antiorario! Non esercitare pressione per evitare di
distruggere il timer per il conto alla rovescia e di invalidare la garanzia!
Il timer per il conto alla rovescia funziona solo quando è alimentato dalla corrente, ovvero
quando è collegato a una presa di corrente attiva.
Allo scadere del tempo di conto alla rovescia impostato, il dispositivo collegato e il timer per
il conto alla rovescia si spengono. La freccia “ ” all’interno dell’anello indica la posizione di
spegnimento “OFF”.
Se si desidera avviare un nuovo conto alla rovescia, procedere come descritto in precedenza.
Manutenzione e pulizia
Prima della pulizia del prodotto, scollegare eventuali dispositivi dal timer per il conto alla ro-
vescia. Scollegare quindi il timer per il conto alla rovescia dall'alimentazione rimuovendolo
completamente dalla presa di corrente.
Evitare in qualsiasi caso l'uso di detergenti abrasivi, alcool per la pulizia o altre soluzioni chi-
miche, in quanto potrebbero danneggiare l'alloggiamento o persino comprometterne il funzio-
namento.
Pulire il prodotto utilizzando un panno asciutto e privo di lanugine.
Smaltimento
Tutte le apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche introdotte sul mercato europeo
devono essere etichettate con questo simbolo. Questo simbolo indica che l’appa-
recchio deve essere smaltito separatamente dai riuti urbani non differenziati al
termine della sua vita utile.
Ciascun proprietario di RAEE (Riuti di apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche)
è tenuto a smaltire gli stessi separatamente dai riuti urbani non differenziati. Gli
utenti nali sono tenuti a rimuovere senza distruggere le batterie e gli accumulatori
esauriti che non sono integrati nell’apparecchiatura, nonché a rimuovere le lampa-
de dall’apparecchiatura destinata allo smaltimento prima di consegnarla presso un
centro di raccolta.
I rivenditori di apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche sono tenuti per legge a ritirare gra-

L’utente nale è responsabile della cancellazione dei dati personali sul vecchio dispositivo
destinato allo smaltimento.
Tenere presente che in paesi al di fuori della Germania possono essere applicati altri obblighi
per la restituzione e il riciclaggio di vecchie apparecchiature.
