informazioni vitali per la sicurezza.
La mancata osservanza delle norme di sicurezza può avere come conseguenza lesioni personali o danni alla ventola.
Dopo aver imparato ad utilizzare il prodotto, conservare il manuale utente per tutta la durata di vita della ventola.
Trasferendo il controllo dell’apparecchiatura ad altro operatore, consegnare anche il presente manuale d’uso.

Read the user manual carefully before using and installing the duct fan (hereinafter referred to as “Fan”).
The fan will be installed and operated in accordance with this user manual in addition to the general requirements of all
applicable electrical and construction Standards and laws.
The warnings given in this manual must be taken seriously as they contain vital safety information.
Failure to comply with the safety rules may result in injuries or damage to the fan. After learning to use the product, keep the
user manual for the entire service life of the fan.
When the control of the equipment is transferred to another operator, this user manual must be handed over too.
The symbols used in this user manual have the following meanings:

Questo manuale d’uso contiene descrizione tecnica, istruzioni di funzionamento, specifiche tecniche della cassa
ventilante (nel seguito definita «Ventola»).
La ventola è stata progettata per la ventilazione in aspirazione e in scarico di edifici privati e pubblici e spazi industriali
con restrizioni stringenti di emissioni di rumore e spazio di installazione esiguo. La ventola è progettata per sistemi
di ventilazione con condotte rotonde.
Le unità consentono il funzionamento continuo senza disconnessione dalla rete.
La ventola è un’unità completa non progettata per il funzionamento autonomo.
L’aria trattata non deve contenere miscele combustibili o esplosive, fumi chimici, polveri grossolane, fuliggine, grasso
o altre particelle in cui possano proliferare sostanze pericolose (sostanze tossiche, polveri e patogeni) oltre a sostanze
appiccicose e materiali fibrosi.
UTILIZZO/ USE
THE FAN IS NOT DESIGNED FOR USE BY CHILDREN, MENTALLY OR PHYSICALLY DISABLED PEOPLE, PEOPLE WITH
SENSORY IMPAIRMENTS, PEOPLE WITHOUT EXPERIENCE OR ADEQUATE TRAINING. ONLY QUALIFIED EXPERTS
CAN USE THE UNIT AFTER ADEQUATE TRAINING IN ITS OPERATION. THE INSTALLATION POSITION OF THE UNIT
MUST BE CHOSEN TO PREVENT ACCESS TO CHILDREN.
This user manual contains the technical description, operating instructions and technical specifications of the fan housing
(hereinafter referred to as “Fan”).
The fan has been designed for extraction and exhaust ventilation in private and public buildings and industrial sites with
stringent noise emission restrictions and limited installation space. The fan is designed for ventilation systems with round
ducts.
The units allow for continuous operation without disconnection from the mains.
The fan is a complete unit not designed for independent operation.
The treated air must not contain combustible or explosive mixtures, chemical fumes, coarse dust, soot, grease or other
particles in which dangerous substances (toxic substances, dust and pathogens) as well as sticky and fibrous materials can
proliferate.

La ventola è progettata per il funzionamento in un ambiente chiuso a temperature ambiente da -25 ºC a + 55 ºC ad
un’umidità relativa fino all’ 80% (a +25 ºC). L’unità è conforme ai requisiti delle normative di ingresso parti pericolose e
acqua IPX4. Le principali dimensioni esterne e di connessione nonché l’aspetto e le specifiche tecniche sono riportate
nella Figura 1 e nelle Tabelle 1 e 2. La ventola è soggetta a continui miglioramenti – di conseguenza, alcuni modelli
possono differire leggermente quelli descritti qui.
SPECIFICHE TECNICHE / TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The fan is designed to operate in a closed environment at a room temperature between -25ºC and +55ºC and relative
humidity up to 80% (at +25ºC). The unit complies with IPX4 hazardous parts and water ingress regulations. The main external
and connection dimensions as well as its appearance and technical specifications are shown in Figure 1 and in Tables 1 and
2. The fan is subject to continuous improvement - as a consequence, some models may differ slightly from those described
here.

L’involucro della ventola è realizzato
in lamine di acciaio zincato con strati
aggiuntivi per isolamento termico
e sonoro. Gli attacchi rotondi sono
dotati di guarnizioni in gomma (vedi
Fig. 2).
La ventola è dotata di motore
asincrono bipolare con rotore
esterno e girante centrifuga con pale
piegate all’indietro. Il motore è dotato
di protezione termica integrata
per garantire il riavvio automatico.
Il motore utilizza cuscinetti a
sfere con lubrificante speciale
che riduce significativamente il
rumore della ventola e garantisce
il funzionamento senza necessità
di manutenzione. Per ridurre
ulteriormente il rumore derivante
dalle vibrazioni della ventola il
motore può essere montato su
staffe in gomma antivibrazione.
LOGICA OPERATIVA E DI PROGETTO

Le ventole da condotta sono state progettate per l’installazione in condotte aria rotonde. Le ventole sono installate in
porzioni di condotte. L’involucro è dotato di staffe di montaggio per garantire il posizionamento corretto della ventola.
Quando la ventola è montata su giunti flessibili, collegare la ventola alla struttura principale con supporti, giunti di
sospensione o staffe.
La ventola può essere installata in qualsiasi posizione in considerazione della direzione del flusso d’aria (come indicato
dalla freccia sull’involucro della ventola).
Per ridurre la resistenza aerodinamica derivante dalla turbolenza del flusso d’aria per una sezione diritta pari a 1
diametro di condotta sul lato ingresso ventola e una uguale a 3 diametri di condotta sul lato ventola di scarico, le
suddette sezioni devono essere esenti da filtri o altri dispositivi.
Garantire accesso adeguato per la manutenzione delle ventole.
Dopo aver aperto l’imballo e prima dell’installazione:
Leggere attentamente le istruzioni specifiche per l’installazione, il funzionamento e la manutenzione della ventola;
Controllare che la ventola sia integra e senza eventuali danni dovuti al trasporto.

The fan enclosure is made of galvanised steel sheets with additional layers for thermal and sound insulation. The round
couplers are fitted with rubber seals (see Fig. 2).
The fan is equipped with a two-pole asynchronous motor with an external rotor and centrifugal impeller with blades bent
backwards. The motor features built-in thermal protection to ensure automatic restart. The motor uses ball bearings with
special lubricant that significantly reduces the noise produced by the fan and ensures operation without the need for
maintenance. To further reduce the noise deriving from fan vibrations, the motor can be installed on anti-vibration rubber
brackets.

Seguire le norme di sicurezza durante le procedure di approntamento e il funzionamento della ventola.
La procedura di installazione della ventola è la seguente:
Controllare che il motore non sia sotto tensione (vedi Fig. 3.1);
Segnare i punti di montaggio delle staffe sulla superficie portante (unità) (vedi Fig. 3.2);
Forare e fissare la ventola sulle staffe con mezzi adeguati (ad es. tasselli a espansione) (vedi Fig. 3.3);
Collegare le condotte alla ventola (vedi Fig. 3.4).
The duct fans have been designed for installation in round air ducts. The fans are installed in portions of ducts. The enclosure
is equipped with mounting brackets to ensure the correct positioning of the fan. When the fan is installed on flexible joints,
connect it to the main structure using supports, suspension joints or brackets.
The fan can be installed in any position considering the direction of the air flow (as indicated by the arrow on the fan enclosure).
To reduce the aerodynamic resistance resulting from air flow turbulence for a straight section equal up to 1 duct diameter
on the fan inlet side and one equal to 3 duct diameters on the fan outlet side, these sections must be free of filters or other
devices.
Ensure adequate access for fan maintenance.
After opening the packaging and before installation:
Carefully read the specific instructions for the installation, operation and maintenance of the fan.
Check that the fan is intact and was not damaged during transport.
Follow the safety rules during the fan set-up and operating procedures.
The fan installation procedure is the following:
Check that the motor is not powered (see Fig. 3.1);
Mark the mounting points of the brackets on the load-bearing surface (unit) (see Fig. 3.2);
Drill holes and secure the fan on the brackets using appropriate devices (e.g. expansion plugs) (see Fig. 3.3);
Connect the ducts to the fan (see Fig. 3.4).

La ventola è stata progettata per il collegamento a rete monofase 230 V/50 Hz CA.
Secondo la configurazione, sono possibili due opzioni per il collegamento della ventola alla rete:
- Con il cavo di alimentazione;
- Con la scatola connessioni.
I collegamenti della ventola (cavi e conduttori) devono essere definitivi, isolati e resistenti al calore. L’ingresso
esterno dee essere dotato di interruttore automatico salvavita integrato all’impianto per scollegare tutte le fasi di
alimentazione. La posizione dell’interruttore esterno deve garantire il libero accesso per la disconnessione rapida
dell’unità.
La corrente nominale consigliata dell’interruttore automatico è 2 A per il mod. 315 e 1 A per tutte le altre versioni. La
sezione minima consigliata del conduttore è 0.75 mm2. La scelta del conduttore si basa sul riscaldamento massimo
consentito del conduttore secondo tipo di conduttore, isolamento, lunghezza e metodo di installazione (i.e. sospeso,
nelle condutture o all’interno delle pareti).
LA VENTOLA DEVE ESSERE CONNESSA ALLA RETE SOLO DA PERSONALE QUALIFICATO A CONOSCENZA
DEL CONTENUTO DEL PRESENTE MANUALE. L’UNITÀ È STATA PROGETTATA PER IL COLLEGAMENTO CON LA
RETE CA CON TENSIONE CONFORME ALLE SPECIFICHE TECNICHE. CONTROLLARE IL CAVO DI ALIMENTAZIONE
PER TUTTA LA LUNGHEZZA PER INDIVIDUARE EVENTUALI NODI. NON ACCENDERE L’UNITÀ SE IL CAVO DI
ALIMENTAZIONE È DANNEGGIATO. STACCARE LA VENTOLA DALLA RETE PRIMA DELL’ACCENSIONE DELL’UNITÀ! I
PARAMETRI ELETTRICI NOMINALI DELL’UNITÀ SONO RIPORTATI SULL’ETICHETTA DEL COSTRUTTORE. È PROIBITO
MODIFICARE LE CONNESSIONI INTERNE, LA GARANZIA IN TAL CASO È NULLA.
CONNESSIONE ALLA RETE
/ CONNECTION TO THE MAINS
The fan has been designed for single-phase 230 V/50 Hz mains connection.
According to the configuration, two options are possible for connecting the fan to the mains:
- With power cable;
- With connection box.
The fan connections (cables and conductors) must be permanent, insulated and heat-resistant. The external inlet must be
equipped with a built-in automatic differential switch to disconnect all power phases. The position of the external switch
must ensure free access for the quick disconnection of the unit.
The recommended rated current of the automatic differential switch is 2 A for mod. 315 and 1 A for all other versions.
The minimum cross-section recommended for the conductor is 0.75 mm2. The conductor should be chosen based on the
maximum permissible heating allowed by it according to the type of conductor, its insulation, its length and the installation
method used (i.e. suspended, in conduits or inside walls).
THE FAN MUST BE CONNECTED TO THE MAINS ONLY BY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL WHO ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE
CONTENTS OF THIS MANUAL. THE UNIT HAS BEEN DESIGNED TO BE CONNECTED TO THE AC MAINS WITH A VOLTAGE THAT
COMPLIES WITH THE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS. CHECK THE ENTIRE LENGTH OF THE POWER CABLE FOR KNOTS. DO NOT
SWITCH ON THE UNIT IF THE POWER CABLE IS DAMAGED. DISCONNECT THE FAN FROM THE MAINS BEFORE SWITCHING
ON THE UNIT! THE NOMINAL ELECTRICAL PARAMETERS OF THE UNIT ARE INDICATED ON THE MANUFACTURER’S LABEL. IT
IS FORBIDDEN TO TAMPER WITH THE INTERNAL CONNECTIONS; DOING THIS WILL INVALIDATE THE WARRANTY.

Le fasi per il collegamento alla rete sono le seguenti:
1. Connessioni interne della ventola:
• Svitare le viti che bloccano il pannello superiore dell’involucro (vedi Fig. 4.1);
• Togliere il pannello superiore (vedi Fig. 4.2);
• Far scorrere il cavo di alimentazione attraverso la canalina sigillata nella parete laterale; scoprire le estremità del
conduttore a 7 - 8 mm;
• Collegare i conduttori alla morsettiera secondo lo schema connessioni e le marcature (vedi Fig. 5). Per fare ciò
inserire i conduttori nei rispettivi terminali fina a quando la parte isolata tocca con la parte metallica e bloccare i
conduttori con le viti;
• Montare la ventola.
2. Collegamento con morsettiera.
In caso di collegamento della ventola alla rete con morsettiera, valgono comunque lo schema connessioni e le
marcature (vedi Fig. 5).
The steps for connection to the mains are the following:
1. Connections inside the fan:
• Unscrew the screws locking the upper panel of the enclosure (see Fig. 4.1);
• Remove the upper panel (see Fig. 4.2);
• Thread the power cable through the sealed duct in the side wall; strip about 7-8 mm of the ends of the conductor;
• Connect the conductors to the terminal board according to the wiring diagram and markings (see Fig. 5). To do this, insert
the conductors into the respective terminals until the insulated part touches the metal part and secure the conductors
with screws;
• Install the fan.
2. Connection with the terminal board.
If the fan is connected to the mains with a terminal board, follow the same wiring diagram and markings (see Fig. 5).

La manutenzione tecnica e la riparazione della ventola possono cominciare solo dopo il distacco dalla rete e quando
tutte le parti rotanti sono completamente ferme.
La manutenzione tecnica comprende la pulizia periodica delle superfici da polvere e sporcizia accumulati.
Le lame della girante devono essere pulite in modo approfondito ogni 6 mesi.
Per pulire le lame:
- Scollegare la ventola dalla rete;
- Strofinare le superfici esterne della ventola (vedi Fig. 6.1);
- Svitare le viti e togliere il pannello superiore della ventola (vedi Fig. 6.2 e 7.3);
- Pulire le lame della girante usando una spazzola morbida o aria compressa (vedi Fig. 6.4).
Evitare di far entrare liquido a contatto con il motore elettrico e i componenti elettronici. La pulizia delle lame deve
essere eseguita con attenzione per non spostare i pesi di bilanciamento della ruota della girante.
Dopo la pulizia eseguire tutte le operazioni di cui sopra in ordine inverso.

Technical maintenance and repairs can only be carried out on the fan after disconnecting it from the mains and when all
rotating parts have come to a complete standstill.
Technical maintenance includes periodically removing dirt and dust from the surfaces.
The impeller blades must be thoroughly cleaned every 6 months.
To clean the blades:
- Disconnect the fan from the mains;
- Wipe the external surfaces of the fan (see Fig. 6.1);
- Unscrew the screws and remove the upper panel of the fan (see Fig. 6.2 and 7.3);
- Clean the impeller blades using a soft brush or compressed air (see Fig. 6.4).
Do not let liquid come into contact with the electric motor and the electronic components. The blades must be cleaned
carefully without moving the balancing weights of the impeller wheel.
After cleaning, perform all the above operations in reverse order.

La ventola deve essere riposta nell’imballo originale in una zona ventilata ad una temperatura da +10 °C a +40 °C.
L’aria non deve contenere eventuali vapori o miscele che possano provocare corrosione o compromettere l’integrità delle
connessioni.
Per il maneggiamento utilizzare solo attrezzature adeguate al sollevamento, per impedire danni alla ventola. Seguire le
normative applicabili per il trasporto secondo il tipo di carico.
Le ventole possono essere trasportate con qualsiasi messo, a patto che sia fornita adeguata protezione contro agenti
atmosferici e danni meccanici. Evitare sobbalzi e collisioni durante carico e scarico.

The fan must be placed in its original packaging in a well-ventilated area at a temperature between +10°C and +40°C.
The air must not contain any vapours or mixtures that may cause corrosion or compromise the integrity of the connections.
For handling operations, use only suitable lifting equipment, to prevent damage to the fan. Comply with the applicable
transport regulations according to the type of load.
The fans can be transported using any type of vehicle, provided that it is adequately protected against adverse weather
conditions and mechanical damage. Avoid jolts and collisions during loading and unloading operations.

Alla fine della sua vita utile il prodotto non deve essere smaltito insieme ai rifiuti urbani. Può essere
consegnato presso gli appositi centri di raccolta differenziata predisposti dalle amministrazioni
comunali, oppure presso i rivenditori che forniscono questo servizio. Per rimarcare l’obbligo di smaltire
separatamente gli elettrodomestici, sul prodotto è riportato il marchio del contenitore di spazzatura
mobile barrato.
At the end of its useful life, the product must not be disposed of with household waste. It can be deposited at
a dedicated recycling centre run by local councils, or at retailers who provide such a service. To highlight the
requirement to dispose of household electrical items separately, there is a crossed-out waste paper basket
symbol on the product.
La garanzia ha durata di 1 (uno) anno a decorrere dalla data di consegna indicata sul d.d.t (bolla). E’ prevista altresì
l’estensione d’ufficio, a titolo gratuito, per il secondo anno (due anni complessivi di garanzia) con decorrenza sempre
dalla data indicata nel d.d.t di consegna (bolla).
L’azienda fornitrice garantisce la qualità dei materiali impiegati e la corretta realizzazione dei componenti. La garanzia
copre difetti di materiale e di fabbricazione e si intende relativa alla fornitura dei pezzi in sostituzione di qualsiasi
componente che presenti difetti, senza che possa venir reclamata alcuna indennità, interesse o richiesta di danni.
La garanzia non copre la sostituzione dei componenti che risultano danneggiati per:
• trasporto non idoneo;
• installazione non conforme a quanto specificato in questo manuale di installazione uso e manutenzione;
• la non osservanza delle specifiche tecniche di prodotto;
• quant’altro non riconducibile a vizi originari del materiale o di produzione a condizione che il reclamo del cliente
sia coperto dalla garanzia e notificato nei termini e modalità richiesta dal fornitore, lo stesso si impegnerà, a sua
discrezione, a sostituire o riparare ciascun prodotto o le parti di questo che presentino vizi o difetti.
The warranty is valid for 2 (two) years from the delivery date indicated on the delivery note / waybill.
The supplier company guarantees the quality of the materials used and the correct construction of the components. The
warranty covers defects in materials and manufacturing defects and refers to the supply of spare parts of any components
featuring defects, without any compensation, interest or claim for damages.
The warranty does not cover the replacement of components damaged due to:
incorrect transportation;
installation not compliant with that specified in this installation, use and maintenance manual;
non-observance of product technical specifications;
Anything else that is not linked to original faults of the material or production provided that the
customer complaint is covered by the guarantee and a claim is made within the time limit and
in the way requested by the supplier, the same supplier will commit, at their own discretion,
to replace or repair any product or part of product showing signs of faults or defects.
