SLEEP mode (cont.)
1. Sleep mode is intended to save your energy and to maintain more comfotable temperatures
during your sleep.
2. This function is applicable to cool and dry modes only.
3. Press SLEEP button to set the temperature and will automatically rise 1oC at the end of
the first hour, rise another 1oC at the end of the second hour and won’t change later.
4. The fan will operate at low speed.
5. Press the SLEEP button again to cancel this function.
SWING FUNCTION
To set this function correctly:
• Select the operating mode (COOL/DRY/FAN/SMART) as described on Page 8.
• Press the SWING button, the appliance operates in the previously selected mode. The
message SWING indicator appears on the remote control to indicate the swing is active.
• Press the SWING button again, the SWING indicator disappears to indicate the swing is
no longer activated and the louvre will stop.
SETTING THE TIMER
• The timer can be used to delay the appliance start-up or shut-down, this avoids wasting
electricity by optimizing operating periods.
SETTING SHUT-DOWN TIMER
• With the appliance on, press the TIMER button, the indicator () is displayed under the
TIMER indicator.
• Set the required time after which you want the appliance to switch off using the UP/DOWN
buttons (from 30 minutes to 24 hours).
• During the first ten hours, each press of the button increases by half hour intervals.
Once ten hours is reached, each press of the button will increase by one hour intervals.
• Press the TIMER button again to confirm the setting. The TIMER indicator on the control
panel will light up to indicate the timer is activated ( ).
• At the end of the set time, the appliance switches off automatically.
• To cancel the TIMER setting, press the TIMER button again at any point during the set time.
SETTING START-UP TIMER
• Turn on the appliance and set the mode and target temperature you want the unit to
start-up with after the elapsed time is set. For example, COOL mode. 25°C. fan speed high.
• Press the ON/OFF button to switch to STANDBY.
• Press the TIMER button twice, the time is displayed and ( ) symbol will appear.
• Set the delay time to when you want the appliance to switch on using the UP/DOWN
buttons (from 30 minutes to 24 hours).
• During the first ten hours, each press of the button increase the time by half hour intervals.
Each press of the button once ten hours is reached, will increase by one hour intervals.
• Press the TIMER button again to confirm the setting. The TIMER indicator on the control
panel light up to indicate the timer is activated.
• At the end of the set time, the appliance switches on automatically and operates in the
same mode as previously set before going into STANDBY, for example COOL mode, 2S°C,
fan speed high.’
• To cancel the TIMER setting, press the TIMER button during the set timer process.
