WARNINGS
To prevent damage to your TENAMIC unit or injury to yourself or to others, read the following safety
precautions before using this unit.
●DO NOT PLACE OR STORE THE EMERGENCY KEYS INSIDE THE SAFE AT ANT TIME.
●DO NOT expose to extreme heat or cold. Battery power may be affected.
●If the battery fails, you will be unable to open the safe.
●Always check to make sure door has latched when closing.

●Neither seller or manufacturer shall be liable for unauthorized access, any injury, loss or damage to personal
property direct or consequential, arising out of the use of, or the inability to use the TENAMIC safe.
●The user shall determine the suitability of the TENAMIC safe before the intended use and user assumes all
risk and liability whatsoever in connection therewith, TENAMIC safe are not intended to protect against
environmental hazards including fire and water.
●Be sure and follow all local and state firearm laws.

OPENING YOUR SAFE FOR THE FIRST TIME
●When first opening, user should open the safe with the emergency key.
●Remove the cover of keyhole, then insert the key, and turn it.
●Turn the knob clockwise to open the door.
CAUTION: Finish operation, pull out the key and keep it in a safe place.
INSERTING THE BATTERIES
●Open the door.
●Insert 4 * AA batteries into the battery compartment.
CAUTION: Replace 4 fresh batteries by lining them up in a manner as indicated by the “+” and “-” signs. When
outage for longer than thirty minutes, you should reset the user’s password.

FACTORY SETTINGS
●No initial fingerprint, any fingerprint can open the safe.
●Initial password: “123456”. After entering the password, press "#" to confirm.
CAUTION: The fingerprint and password can only be used after the battery is installed.
OPEN THE DOOR
● Enter the correct password (the factory password is “123456”) or the correct fingerprint, When you hear a
long beep, it means that the safe has been opened.
●The internal lighting will automatically turn on and turn off after 30 seconds.

SAVE FINGERPRINT
1. Press the reset button, you will hear two beeps.
2. When the power indicator for fingerprint reader flashes, place your finger on reader for 4 times. You will hear
two short beeps and one long beep. It means the fingerprint is set successfully.
3. Three short consecutive beeps will be heard when fingerprint was not set successfully, you need to repeat the
process again.
4. Repeat steps 1-2 to save other fingerprints, our fingerprint reader can hold up to 30 fingerprints.
SETTING PASSWORD
1. Touch the keypad until it illuminates, press “00” and then press reset button, you will hear one beep.
2. Input your password (3-8 digit codes) and then press “#” to confirm. You will hear two short beeps and one
long beep. It means the password is set successfully.
3. Three short consecutive beeps will be heard when password was not set successfully, you need to repeat the
process again.

SYSTEM RESET
●Press the reset button for 5 seconds, a long beep indicates that safe is in factory default mode, all
fingerprints and codes stored in the safe have been deleted. (restore to factory settings).
START VIBRATION ALARM FUNCTION
● Touch the panel and press “*”, all the indicator light will illuminate then turn off, indicating the safe is in
warning state. Any vibration made to the safe will cause the alarm going off for 1 minute.
●During the period of alarm, correct fingerprint and password will terminate it. This warning state will be not
cleared if you do not enter your correct password or fingerprint.

WRONG INPUT ALARM FUNCTION
●Enter 5 wrong fingerprints or passwords, the horn will alarm for 1 minute.
●During the alarm period, enter the correct fingerprint or password to open the door, and the alarm will stop.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT REMINDER
●The safe is equipped to alert you to low batteries by producing a series of beeps (6 times) when you are
opening the door.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
●To maximize the security and performance of the safe, keep fingerprint scanner clean.
●Test registered fingerprints every 6 months.
●Keep liquids away from the control panel.
●Secure safe in a proper area to prevent from falling and causing damage or injury.
●Do not use chemicals or cleaning agents to clean the safe.

MOUNTING METHOD
TIP: Make sure you have enough clearance for the lid to open properly before mounting the safe and fix the
safe in the place which is not easy to move.
●Drill holes for expansion bolts (or clamping screws) in the right place.
●Turn the expansion bolts counterclockwise to separate.
●Use the expansion bolts (or clamping screws) to secure the case to the wall.
●Make sure the case is mounted in place as required and then tighten all screws.
CAUTION:
●Use the expansion bolt when there is a concrete wall surface. Use the clamping screw when there is a
wooden wall surface.
●DO NOT let the safe door face the floor when you mounting the safe with the vertical direction to avoid your
property from damage.

WARRANTY (Terms and Conditions)
TENAMIC is committed to building high quality products and will make every effort to ensure our products are
free from any defects. We guarantee your safe will be free od defects in materials or workmanship for a period
of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover abuse, misuse, use in any manner for which
is not designed, neglect, modification, damage in advertently caused by the owner; accidents, and/or tampering.
If you safe is determined to be defective and we are responsible for the cause we will have it repaired at our
expense, or we will send a new replacement at no cost to you. You will be required to return your existing unit
as well as all included accessories to TENAMIC prior to replacement of the defective unit along with your order
of purchase.
If you are determined your safe needs to be returned, our customer support team will provide you with a return
detail.
