Additional cautions when using the
blender attachment
• When using the blender ensure there
is adequate room in the vessel to avoid
splashingthecontents.
• The blade on this blender is sharp. Treat
it with care at all times and never allow
ngers,hair,orclothingtocomeintocontact
withtheblade.
• Ifyouwishtoscrapethecontentsofabowl
withaspatula,removetheblenderrst.
• Donotprocessfoodcontaininghardobjects
which cannot be safely broken up by the
blade.
• Donotusetheblenderwithhotliquids.
• Never run the appliance for more than
1 minute continuously with the blender
attachment allowing 3 minutes to cool
beforefurtheruse.

Additional instructions when using the
whisk attachment
• Treatthewhiskwithcare.Thewirehoopsare
fragile-donotbendordistortthem.
• If the wire hoops are bent or the whisk
becomes unbalanced, stop using the
product.Anunbalancedwhiskispotentially
dangerousandcoulddamagethemotor.
• Only use the whisk with liquids, creams,
eggwhites,etc.Ifyouwanttocreamusing
butterorsolidfats,makesuretheyarevery
soft before starting, or use the blender
attachment.
• Donotaddsolidingredientsintoamixture
whenwhisking.
• Supportthejugorbowlwhenwhisking.
• Never run the appliance for more than
1 minute continuously with the whisk
attachment allowing 3 minutes to cool
beforefurtheruse.
Additional instructions when using the
chopper attachment
• Exercise care when handling the blade
assembly.Thesharpedgemaycauseinjury.
Wheninsertingorremovingtheblade,hold
theassemblybytheshaft.
• Toreducetheriskofinjury,neverplacethe
cuttingbladeonbasewithoutrstputting
thebowlproperlyinplace.
• Ensure the lid is securely locked in place
beforeoperatingtheappliance.
• When lling or emptying the processor
bowl,switcho the blenderand detach it
fromthelidbeforeopeningthelidtoaddor
removeingredients.
• Donotchopmeatwithbonesorfruitswith
hardstones.
• If the chopper gets clogged, switch o,
unplugfromthemainsanddetachthemotor
fromthelidbeforeclearingtheobstruction.
• Make sure the appliance is on a sturdy
work surface. Use both hands to hold the
appliance.
• Never run the appliance for more than 10
seconds continuously with the chopper
attachment allowing 3 minutes to cool
beforefurtheruse.

Additional instructions when using the
potato masher attachment
• This potato masher has been designed to
mashfood.Itisintendedtobehandheldand
tobeusedinpots,pansorthelike,afterthey
havebeenremovedfromacookingsurface.
Itshouldnotbeusedforanyotherpurpose.
• Thepotatomasherisintendedtomashfood
that has not been thoroughly cooked to a
softconsistency.Neverattempttomashhard
food,uncookedorpart-cookedfood.
• Althoughthe blade is plastic,donotplace
handsorngersinthebladeareawhenthe
powerisconnectedtotheappliance.
• Nevertouchthebladewhenitisspinning.
• Keep hair and loose clothing away from
the masher to avoid any chance of them
becomingentangledintheblade.
• Donotuseinapotstillonthecooktop,as
the power cord may accidentally become
damagedbyheat.
• Never run the appliance for more than 1
minutecontinuouslywiththepotatomasher
attachmentallowing1minutetocoolbefore
furtheruse.

Cleaning
Never clean the appliance with scourers, abrasive pads or
chemicals.
Alwaysunplugtheappliance after useand beforecleaning.
The mixing jug is dishwasher safe. No other part of the
appliance is suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher.
Exercise care when cleaning any part of the appliance that
includes a blade.
• Disassemble the appliance into its component parts.
Blender, whisk and potato masher
• Wash the blender, whisk or potato masher
attachments under running water, without the use of
abrasive cleaner or detergents.
Note: Do not immerse the attachment stems in water
because over time the lubrication on the bearings will
deteriorate.
• After nishing cleaning the detachable attachment,
place it upright to drain.
Chopper
• Wash the jug, bowl, beater and blade in warm soapy
water.
• Dry all components thoroughly.
Motor body
• Wipe the motor body with a damp cloth. Never
immerse it in water for cleaning - DANGER OF ELECTRIC
SHOCK.
• Reassemble all the components.

Unpack your blender carefully.

If any items are missing or damaged return the item to
your nearest Tesco store for replacement. Please have your
receipt with you when you call.
Retain the packaging. If you dispose of the packaging do
so with regard to any recycling regulations in your area.

Before using your blender for the rst time
Please read all instructions in this User Guide with
particular reference to the safety notes.
• Check that the voltage marked on the rating plate
matches your mains voltage.
• Clean the blender. Refer to the ‘CLEANING’ section for
instructions.
Important notes
• The maximum time you can run the unit with no load
is 15 seconds.
• Blades are very sharp, handle them with care.
• Ensure that the blender motor is unplugged from
the power outlet before assembling or removing
attachments

Fitting the blender, whisk or potato masher
attachments
• Make sure the motor body is unplugged.
• Hold the motor body in one hand and the attachment
in the other.
TURBO
• Align the index mark
on the motor body with
unlocked ( ) on the
attachment.
• Make sure the attachment is rmly locked to the motor
body before use.
To detach the attachment
• Unplug the appliance.
• Hold the motor in one hand and the attachment in the
other.
• Rotate the attachment to align the index mark with
unlocked ( ).
• Lift o the motor body
TURBO
• Push the attachment
against the motor
body and rotate the
attachment to align the
index mark with locked
( ) on the attachment.
Operation
Power and speed control
The appliance features variable speed control.
Use the slow speed where possible especially when
you commence blending, whisking etc or if you are
smoothing out lumps or reducing food to a puree.
The high speed can be used as a nishing touch or when
a particularly ne mix is needed.
TURBO
• Set the speed you want with the
speed control before switching the
appliance on.
The small dots indicate slower
speeds, the larger dots indicate
higher speeds.
TURBO
• Press and hold the On/O button
to switch the appliance on.
• Release the On/O button to
switch the appliance o.
NOTE: Never run the appliance continuously for more than
the time specied for the accessory you are using.
Turbo button
TURBO
• Hold the turbo button for a
momentary boost of speed.
NOTE: The turbo button should only be used for a few
seconds. Never hold the turbo button for more than this
time or the appliance may overheat.

Using the hand blender
The blender is ideal for making purees, cold sauces,
mayonnaise and mixing drinks.
• Assemble the blender attachment to the motor body.
• Make sure that the jug or bowl you are using is deep
enough to avoid spraying or splashing.
• Introduce the blender into the food before switching it
on to avoid splashing.
• Connect the motor body to mains power.
• Set the speed and switch on to blend.
Use a slow speed where possible - higher speeds can be
used as a nishing touch.
NOTE:When using the blender, never run the appliance for
more than 1 minute continuously. Allow the appliance to
cool for 3 minutes before further use.
NEVER use the blender in a vessel while it is being heated
on the stove.
NEVER let the base of the blade housing come into
prolonged contact with the body of a vessel while
blending.
Using the whisk
The supplied measuring jug is ideal for whisking ingredients
such as egg white, light batters, cream etc. If you are
whisking egg white, the jug will accommodate two egg
whites - use a large bowl for extra amounts.
• Assemble the whisk attachment to the motor body.
• Introduce the whisk into the food before switching it on
to avoid splashing.
• Connect the motor body to mains power.
• Set the speed and switch on to whisk.

NOTE: When using the whisk, never run the appliance for
more than 1 minute continuously. Allow the appliance to
cool for 3 minutes before further use.
NEVER let the wires of the whisk come into prolonged
contact with the body of a vessel while blending.
Using the potato masher
• Assemble the potato masher attachment to the motor
body.
• Peel and cut the required amount of Potato into
approximately 2.5cm (1”) cubes.
• Place the potatoes in cool water and heat to boiling.
• Boil gently until thepiecesof potatooer little resistance
to a knife.This should take around 15-20 minutes.
• Cutting the potatoes into smaller pieces and heating the
water from cold allows the potatoes to cook through
evenly.
• Drain the water from the potatoes.
• Introduce the masher into the food before switching it
on to avoid splashing.
• Set the speed and switch on to mash the potatoes.
NOTE: When using the potato masher, never run the
appliance for more than 1 minute continuously. Allow the
appliance to cool for 1 minute before further use.
• Move the masher up and down through the ingredients
until they have all been processed.This should only take
a few seconds.
• Keep the potato masher running as you lift it from the
ingredients (but still within the bowl or dish you are
using), to clear any excess mash from the masher.

Using the chopper
Prepare the food by removing bones from meat, stones
from fruit, etc. and cut the food into small pieces before
you place the food into the bowl.
NOTE:The max quantity of food you can process at any on
time should not exceed 200g.
Placethe chopperbowl on a clean,leveland stable surface.
• Hold the blade
assembly by the stem
and insert the blade
onto the spindle in
the chopper bowl.
• Place food into the chopper bowl.
• Place the lid on the chopper bowl.
• Make sure the motor body is unplugged.
TURBO
• Insert the motor
body into the
opening in the
chopper lid.
You will need to
rotate the motor
body slightly until it
engages fully.
• Plug in the appliance and switch the power on.
• Hold down both the bowl and motor body rmly when
using the chopper.
• Operate the chopper in short bursts.
Itmay be necessarywith some foodstostopthe unit, and
re-distribute the food before continuing. Always unplug
mains power before opening the chopper. Always use
a spoon or fork, never use ngers to re-distribute the
ingredients when the blade is in place.
NOTE:When using the chopper, never run the appliance for
more than 10 seconds continuously. Allow the appliance
to cool for 3 minutes before further use.
• When the food is fully chopped, disconnect mains
power.
• Lift the motor body from the chopper lid and move it
to a safe place.
• Lift the lid from the chopper bowl.
• Holding the stem of the blade only, carefully remove
the chopper blade from the bowl and move it to a safe
place.
• Spoon out the chopped ingredients.
• Clean the chopper components immediately.

period, please return the unit to your nearest Tesco store
together with the original receipt as proof of purchase.
This warranty in no way aects your consumer rights.
