How to Use This Guide
The Shandon TissueWave 2 Microwave is intended for use in
pathology laboratories by operators familiar with tissue processing
and laboratory equipment.
Before operating the instrument, the section entitled Safety
Information must be read and understood.
This Operator Guide is structured to let processing of tissues begin
quickly and safely with the Shandon TissueWave 2.
Section 1 - Introducing the Shandon TissueWave 2 This chapter
identifies the components of the Shandon TissueWave 2 Microwave
and describes their functions.
Section 2 - Daily Operation This chapter explains the daily
operation procedures required to run pre-defined protocols.
Section 3 - Installation This chapter describes the initial installation
and setup of the unit.
Section 4 - Programming This chapter explains the initial
programming of the microwave, as well as how to make changes to
existing programs.
Section 5 - Troubleshooting This chapter explains the alarm
