Anwendung
Das Produkt ist in jedem Bett einsetzbar. Legen Sie ThevoCare mit der roten Seite nach oben auf den vorhandenen
Lattenrost oder die vorhandene Unterkonstruktion Ihres Bettes.
Achtung: Bei Betten mit Seitengittern müssen gegebenenfalls Seitengittererhöhungen genutzt werden.
Desinfektionsmethoden und Reinigungsempfehlungen
Matratze
Die Bezüge sind durch einen eingenähten Reißverschluss leicht abzunehmen und können gewaschen werden.
Jerseybezug (Stoffbezug)
• waschbar bei 65 °C • trocknerfest
Inkontinenzbezug (gummierter Bezug)
• waschbar bei 65 °C • trocknerfest • per Wischdesinfektion zu reinigen
Desinfektion
Zur Desinfektion empfehlen wir zwei vom Robert-Koch-Institut anerkannte Verfahren:
- das fraktionierte Vakuumverfahren (VDV-Verfahren) bis zu einer max. Temperatur von 110 °C.
- das Dampfströmungsverfahren bis zu einer Temperatur von 110 °C.
Wichtiger Hinweis: Eine thermische Behandlung über 110 °C führt zu vorzeitigem Altern und Verformung der
Kunststoffteile und sollte daher nicht durchgeführt werden. Bei chemischen Desinfektionsmitteln unbedingt auf die
Herstellerangaben achten, ob diese für Kunststoff geeignet sind.

Anwendungsrisiken und Kontraindikationen (Gegenanzeigen)
ThevoCare wurde zur Förderung der Mobilität und Verbesserung der Schlafqualität bei ersten Anzeichen einer
Pflegebedürftigkeit entwickelt.
Die Anwendung von ThevoCare bedarf keiner speziellen Einweisung. Aus dem bisherigen praktischen Einsatz des
Produktes und aus umfangreichen Tests sind uns keinerlei Probleme im Umgang mit dem Produkt bekannt geworden.
Die Matratzen wurde zur Dekubitusprophylaxe und -therapie bis einschließlich Stadium 1 nach EPUAP
(European Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel) entwickelt.
Bei sachgerechtem Gebrauch können Risiken bei der Anwendung ausgeschlossen werden.

Wichtiger Hinweis: Es muss bei der Versorgung darauf geachtet werden, dass die Matratze nach dem entsprechenden
Körpergewicht des Nutzers ausgewählt wird.

• ThevoCare 50 - 135 von 50 bis max. 135 kg Patientengewicht
Im Grenzbereich von 50 kg (+/- 2 kg) kann ggf. auch die ThevoCare 50 - 135 eingesetzt werden.
Garantiebedingungen
Die Firma Thomashilfen verbürgt sich für die Qualität des gelieferten Produkts. Bei der Wahl des Materials sowie
der Verarbeitung wurden höchste Produktionsstandards zugrunde gelegt. Alle ThevoCare wurden einer gründlichen
Endkontrolle unterzogen. Thomashilfen gewährt eine Garantie von zehn Jahren auf die elastischen Flügelfedern.
Diese zehnjährige Garantie gilt auch für den Matratzenkern der ThevoCare. Betrachten Sie den Matratzenkern für die
ersten drei Jahre als neuwertig. Danach müssen wir dann bei einer eventuellen Garantieleistung eine Wertminderung
von 10 % pro Gebrauchsjahr auf den Anschaffungspreis anrechnen. Wir bitten jedoch um Verständnis dafür, dass für die
Matratzenbezüge die gesetzliche Gewährleistungsfrist gilt.
Für alle Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler gilt eine Garantie von drei Jahren. Maßdifferenzen in der Toleranz bis zu ±2 cm
bleiben bei gepolsterten Teilen vorbehalten.
Beschädigungen, die durch unsachgemäße Behandlung, Zweckentfremdung, nachträgliche Veränderungen oder durch
natürliche Abnutzung entstehen, sind von der Gewährleistung ausgenommen. Montage und Transportkosten, die nach
Ablauf der gesetzlichen Gewährleistungsfrist entstehen, müssen leider berechnet werden.
Bitte bewahren Sie deshalb alle im Zusammenhang mit ThevoCare ausgehändigten Belege sorgfältig auf.
Wichtiger Hinweis: ThevoCare ist autoklavierbar und kann für den Wiedereinsatz genutzt werden. Nach jedem
Nutzerwechsel sollte ThevoCare nach einem der auf Seite 4 Verfahren gereinigt und desinfiziert werden. Eine Wartung
durch den Hersteller ist nicht notwendig.

Usage
The product is compatible for use with every type of bed. Lay ThevoCare with the red side facing upwards on the
existing bed slats or bed base.
Attention: Beds with side-rails may require additional side-rail height extenders.
Disinfection methods and cleaning information
Mattress
The washable covers are easy to remove thanks to an integrated zip.
Jersey cover (fabric cover)
• washable at 65 °C (149 °F) • suitable for tumble dryers

Disinfection
We recommend two disinfection methods accepted by the Robert Koch Institute:
- the vacuum/steam/vacuum method up to a maximum temperature of 110 °C (230 °F)
- the steam flow method up to a temperature of 110 °C (230 °F)
Important hint: A thermal treatment over 110 °C (230 °F) causes a premature ageing and deformation of the plastic
parts and should therefore be avoided. Please make sure when using chemical disinfectants that they
are suitable for plastic.
Application risks and contraindications
ThevoCare was designed to support mobility and improve the quality of sleep at first signs of nursing
care dependency.
The use of ThevoCare does not require any special instructions. After practical use and conducting several tests, we are
unaware of any problems associated with the use of this product.
When used properly, there are no known risks.

Important hint: For the correct supply it is important to ensure that the mattress is selected according to the body
weight of the user in question.
• ThevoCare 50 up to a body weight of 50 kg (110.2 lbs)
• ThevoCare 50 - 135 from 50 kg (110.2 lbs) up to a body weight of 135 kg (297.6 lbs)
ThevoCare 50 -135 may also be used in the border zone of patients weighing 50 kg/110.2 lbs (+/- 2 kg / +/- 4.4 lbs).
Warranty conditions
The company Thomashilfen vouches for the quality of the product delivered. The choice of material and the workman-
ship are based on the highest production standards. All ThevoCare products undergo a thorough final inspection.
Thomashilfen grants a ten-year guarantee on its elastic winged springs.
This ten-year guarantee shall apply also to the ThevoCare mattress core. Consider the mattress core as being as good
as new for the first three years. In the event of any guarantee claim thereafter, we shall then have to deduct from the
purchase price a 10 % reduction in value for every year of use. Please understand, however, that the statutory warranty
period shall apply to the mattress covers.
A three-year guarantee shall apply to all defects in material or manufacturing. Thomashilfen reserves the right to dimen-
sional differences within a tolerance of up to ±2 cm in the case of upholstered parts. Damage caused by improper
handling, misappropriation, subsequent alterations or normal wear and tear shall be excluded from the warranty.
Unfortunately, assembly and transportation costs incurred after the statutory warranty period has expired shall have to
be charged.
Therefore, please keep in a safe place all documentary records received in connection with ThevoCare.
Important hint: ThevoCare is autoclavable and may be re-used. ThevoCare should be cleaned and disinfected
using one of the cleaning methods stated on page 7 with every change of user. Servicing by the manufacturer
is not necessary.

Utilisation
Le produit peut être utilisé pour tous les lits. Posez le lit ThevoCare avec le côté rouge orienté vers le haut sur
le sommier ou la base de votre lit.
Attention: pour les lits à grilles latérales, prévoyez, le cas échéant, des grilles rehaussées.
Méthodes de désinfection et conseils de nettoyage
Matelas
Les housses sont dotées de fermetures à glissière, elles sont donc faciles à enlever pour le lavage.
Housse en jersey (housse textile)
• lavable à 65 °C • passe au sèche-linge
Housse incontinence (housse caoutchoutée)
• lavable à 65 °C • passe au sèche-linge • peut se nettoyer au désinfectant passé au chiffon
Désinfection
Pour la désinfection, nous conseillons deux procédés reconnus par l’institut Robert-Koch:
- le procédé du vide fractionné (procédé de désinfection à vapeur sous vide) jusqu’à une
température maximale de 110 °C.
- le procédé à diffusion de vapeur jusqu’à une température de 110 °C.
Indications importantes: un traitement thermique au-delà de 110 °C provoque le vieillissement prématuré et la
déformation des pièces en matière plastique. Il ne devrait donc pas être pratiqué. Si vous utilisez des désinfectants
chimiques, tenez impérativement comptes des indications du fabricant, renseignez-vous si ces produits convien-
nent aux matières plastiques.
Risques d’utilisation et contre-indications
ThevoCare a été mis au point pour favoriser la mobilité et améliorer la qualité du sommeil dès les premiers
signes d’une dépendance.
Il ne vous faut aucune initiation particulière pour l’utilisation du lit ThevoCare Etant donné l’utilisation pratique du
produit et les nombreux tests pratiqués, nous n’avons connaissance d’aucun problème résultant de
l’utilisation du produit.
Si le produit est utilisé de façon correcte, vous pouvez exclure les risques éventuellement liés à son utilisation.

Indication importante: choisissez le matelas en fonction du poids de l’utilisateur.

Conditions de garantie
La société Thomashilfen se porte garant de la qualité du produit livré. Dans le choix du matériel et le traitement, le
fabricant a mis en application les standards de production les plus élevés. Tous les ThevoCare ont été soumis à un
contrôle final minutieux.
Thomashilfen accorde une garantie de dix ans sur les ressorts à ailettes élastiques.
Cette garantie de dix ans est également valable pour le cœur du matelas ThevoCare. Pour les trois premières années,
vous pouvez considérer le cœur de matelas comme étant neuf. Passé ce délai, nous devront tenir compte d‘une
réduction de valeur de 10% pour chaque année d‘utilisation sur le prix d‘achat en cas de prestation de garantie
éventuelle. Vous comprendrez cependant aisément que pour la housse de matelas le délai de garantie en vigueur est
celui prévu par la loi.
Pour tous les vices de matière et de fabrication, nous accordons une garantie de trois ans. Pour les articles rembourrés,
des écarts dimensionnels allant jusqu‘à ±2 cm de tolérance sont admissibles. Le fabricant décline toute responsabilité
en cas de détériorations dues à un maniement incorrect, une utilisation non conforme, un changement ultérieur ou
l‘usure naturelle. Les frais de montage et de transport encourus après écoulement du délai légal de garantie devront
être facturés. C‘est pourquoi nous vous recommandons de conserver soigneusement tous les documents qui vous ont
été remis avec le ThevoCare.
Indication importante: ThevoCare est autoclavable et peut être réutilisé pour un autre patient. A chaque
changement d’utilisateur, le ThevoCare devrait être nettoyé et désinfecté à l’aide d’un des procédés mentionnés
a la p. Une maintenance par le fabricant n’est pas nécessaire.

Uso
El producto se puede utilizar en cualquier cama. Coloque ThevoCare con la cara roja hacia arriba sobre el somier
o la subestructura existente de su cama.
Atención: En camas con rejillas laterales, puede que sea necesario colocar suplementos de rejilla lateral.
Métodos de desinfección y recomendaciones de limpieza
Colchón
Gracias a la cremallera integrada, las fundas se pueden retirar fácilmente para ser lavadas.
Funda de tejido jersey

Desinfección
Para la desinfección recomendamos dos procedimientos reconocidos por el Instituto Robert Koch:
- el método de vacío fraccionado hasta una temperatura máxima de 110º C
- el método de desinfección por vapor fluente hasta una temperatura de 110º C
Nota importante: Un tratamiento térmico a una temperatura superior a 110º C da lugar a un envejecimiento
prematuro y a la deformación de los componentes plásticos; por esta razón, no debería llevarse a cabo.
En caso de utilizar desinfectantes químicos, es imprescindible leer las indicaciones del fabricante para
comprobar si son aptos para plásticos.
Riesgos en el uso y contraindicaciones
ThevoCare fue desarrollado para fomentar la movilidad y mejorar la calidad del sueño en los primeros indicios de una
necesidad de asistencia.
El uso de ThevoCare no precisa instrucciones especiales. Hasta la fecha, del uso que se ha hecho del producto en la
práctica y de los ensayos llevados a cabo se desprende que no existen problemas en su utilización.
Utilizando el producto de forma adecuada se pueden excluir los riesgos derivados de su uso.

Nota importante: Se debe prestar atención a que el colchón se elija de acuerdo con
el peso correspondiente del paciente.
• ThevoCare 50 hasta un peso máximo del paciente de 50 kg
• ThevoCare 50 - 135 para un peso del paciente de 50 a, como máximo, 135 kg
En la zona límite de 50 kg (+/- 2 kg) se puede utilizar ThevoCare 50 - 135.
Condiciones de garantía
La compañía Thomashilfen sale fiadora de la calidad de los productos suministrados. La elección del material, así como
la elaboración se han basado en los máximos estándares de producción. Todas las ThevoCare han sido sometidas a un
control final a fondo.
Thomashilfen concede una garantía de diez años para los muelles para alas elásticas.
Esta garantía de diez años vale también para los núcleos de colchones de ThevoCare. Para los primeros tres años,
considere como de nuevos los núcleos de los colchones. Después, en caso de una eventual prestación de garantía,
tenemos que imputar al precio de compra una depreciación de un 10 % por año de uso. Sin embargo, apelamos a su
comprensión por el hecho de que para las fundas de los colchones vale el plazo de garantía legal.
Para todos los fallos del material y de fabricación vale una garantía de tres años. Salvo diferencias de medida en la
tolerancia hasta de ±2 cm en las partes acolchadas. La garantía excluye los daños causados por un manejo incorrecto,
el uso para fines extraños, modificaciones posteriores o por un desgaste natural. Lamentablemente tenemos que facturar
el montaje y los gastos de transporte que se produzcan una vez transcurrido el plazo de garantía legal.
Por esta razón, rogamos guarden en sitio seguro todos los resguardos entregados en relación con ThevoCare.
Nota importante: ThevoCare es apto para la esterilización en autoclave y para su reutilización. Tras cada cambio de
paciente, ThevoCare se deberá limpiar y desinfectar mediante uno de los procedimientos en la página 13 indicados.
No es necesario un mantenimiento por parte del fabricante.

Utilizzo
Il prodotto può essere utilizzato in qualsiasi letto. Appoggiare ThevoCare con la parte rossa rivolta verso l’alto sul
grigliato o sulla sottostruttura del letto.
Attenzione: se i letti sono dotati di sbarre laterali, potrebbe rendersi necessario utilizzare dei rialzi per le sbarre.
Metodi di disinfezione e consigli per la pulizia
Materasso
I rivestimenti si rimuovono facilmente grazie a una cerniera e possono essere lavati.
Rivestimento in Jersey (rivestimento in tessuto)

Rivestimento antincontinenza (rivestimento gommato)

Disinfezione
Per la disinfezione consigliamo due metodi riconosciuti dall’Istituto Robert Koch:
- la procedura di aspirazione frazionata fino a una temperatura max. di 110 °C
- el método de desinfección por vapor fluente hasta una temperatura de 110º C
Indicazione importante: un trattamento termico superiore a 110 °C produce un invecchiamento e una deforma-
zione precoci delle parti in materiale sintetico e va quindi evitato. In caso di disinfettanti chimici è necessario
prestare attenzione alle indicazioni del fabbricante, verificando in particolare se sono adatti a materiali sintetici.

ThevoCare è stato sviluppato per favorire la mobilità e migliorare la qualità del sonno non appena se ne constata al
necessità di manutenzione.
L’utilizzo di ThevoCare non necessita di istruzioni speciali. Le esperienze pratiche fatte finora con il prodotto
e i numerosi test effettuati non hanno rilevato alcun tipo di problema correlato all’utilizzo del prodotto stesso.
Un utilizzo coretto esclude pertanto qualsiasi rischio.

Indicazione importante: al momento dell’acquisto occorre prestare attenzione a scegliere il materasso in base al cor-
rispondente peso corporeo di chi lo utilizzerà.
• ThevoCare 50 per un peso del paziente fino a 50 kg
• ThevoCare 50 - 135 per un peso del paziente compreso fra 50 e 135 kg
Se il peso del paziente è al limite degli 50 kg (+/- 2 kg) è possibile utilizzare anche il ThevoCare 100.
Condizioni di garanzia
La Thomashilfen garantisce la qualità del prodotto fornito. La scelta dei materiali e la lavorazione sono state eseguite
secondo i massimi standard produttivi. Tutti i ThevoCare sono stati sottoposti a un controllo finale scrupoloso.
Thomashilfen concede dieci anni di garanzia sulle piume elastiche.
Questa garanzia decennale vale anche per il nucleo del materasso della ThevoCare. Per i primi tre anni si consideri
il nucleo del materasso come nuovo. Successivamente, in caso di prestazione di garanzia conteggeremo sul prezzo
d‘acquisto una riduzione di valore pari al 10% per ogni anno d‘uso. Per i rivestimenti dei materassi vale invece il ter-
mine di garanzia previsto per legge.
Per qualsiasi difetto di materiale o vizio di fabbricazione è concessa una garanzia di tre anni. Per le parti imbottite
sono ammesse differenze dimensionali con una tolleranza di ±2 cm. Sono esclusi dalla garanzia i danni dovuti a uso
improprio, modifica della destinazione, modifiche apportate successivamente o usura normale. Montaggio e costi di
trasporto successivi alla scadenza del periodo di garanzia saranno a vostro carico.
È pertanto necessario conservare con cura tutti i documenti consegnati insieme al prodotto ThevoCare.
Indicazione importante: ThevoCare è sterilizzabile in autoclave ed è idoneo alla reintegrazione. Ogni volta che
cambia il paziente che lo utilizza, è opportuno pulire e disinfettare ThevoCare mediante una delle procedure
a pagina 16 descritte. Non è necessaria alcuna manutenzione da parte del fabbricante.

Toepassing
Het product kan voor ieder bed worden gebruikt. Leg ThevoCare met de rode zijde naar boven op de voorhanden lat-
tenbodem of de voorhanden onderconstructie van uw bed.
Opgelet: bij bedden met zijhekken moeten eventueel hekverhogingen worden aangebracht.
Desinfectiemethoden en reinigingsadviezen
Matras
Dankzij een ingenaaide ritssluiting kunnen de bekledingshoezen eenvoudig verwijderd en vervolgens gewassen wor-
den.
Jerseybekleding (textielbekleding)
• wasbaar bij 65 °C • drogerbestendig
Incontinentiebekleding (rubberbekleding)
• wasbaar bij 65 °C • drogerbestendig • door middel van wisdesinfectie te reinigen
Desinfectie
Wij adviseren de toepassing van twee door het Robert-Koch-instituut erkende procedures:
- het gefractioneerde vacuümproces (VDV-procedure) tot een max. temperatuur van 110 °C.
- stoomdesinfectie tot een temperatuur van 110 °C.
Belangrijk: een thermische behandeling boven 110 °C leidt tot een vroegtijdige veroudering en vervorming van de
kunststofonderdelen en is dan ook niet raadzaam. Neem bij chemische desinfectiemiddelen altijd de fabrikanten-
voorschriften in acht en waarborg dat deze voor kunststof geschikt zijn.
Gebruiksrisico‘s en contra-indicaties
ThevoCare werd ontwikkeld ter bevordering van de mobiliteit en de verbetering van de slaapkwaliteit bij eerste symp-
tomen van hulpbehoevendheid.
Voor de toepassing van ThevoCare is geen speciale instructie vereist. Uit het praktische gebruik van het product en de
omvangrijk uitgevoerde tests zijn ons tot nu toe geen problemen bekend m.b.t. het gebruik van het product.
Bij doelmatig gebruik kunnen risico‘s tijdens het gebruik worden uitgesloten.

Belangrijk: bij de verzorging dient te worden opgelet dat het matras wordt gekozen in overeenstemming
met het lichaamsgewicht van de gebruiker.

• ThevoCare 50 - 135 van 50 kg tot max. 135 kg patiëntgewicht
In het grensbereik van 50 kg (+/- 2 kg) kan eventueel ook het matras ThevoCare 50 - 135 worden toegepast.
Garantievoorwaarden
De firma Thomashilfen garandeert de kwaliteit van het geleverde product. Aan de keuze van het materiaal en de ver-
werking worden de hoogste productienormen ten grondslag gelegd. Alle ThevoCare-matrassen werden onderworpen
aan een zorgvuldige eindcontrole.
Thomashilfen verleent tien jaar garantie op de elastische vleugelveren.
Deze garantieperiode van tien jaar geldt ook voor de matraskern van de ThevoCare. Beschouw de matraskern in de
eerste drie jaar als nieuw. Daarna moeten wij bij een eventueel garantiegeval een waardevermindering van 10 % per
gebruiksjaar op de koopsom in mindering brengen. Wij vragen uw begrip voor het feit dat voor de matrasovertrekken
de wettelijke garantieperiode van toepassing is.
Voor alle materiaal- en fabricagefouten geldt een garantie van drie jaar. Maatverschillen binnen het tolerantiebereik
van ±2 cm blijven bij beklede delen voorbehouden. Beschadigingen als gevolg van ondeskundige behandeling,
ondoelmatig gebruik, latere veranderingen of natuurlijke slijtage zijn van de garantieverlening uitgesloten. Montage en
transportkosten die ontstaan na afloop van de wettelijke garantieperiode moeten helaas in rekening worden gebracht.
Bewaar daarom zorgvuldig alle in verband met de ThevoCare overhandigde kwitanties.
Belangrijk: ThevoCare is geschikt voor sterilisatie in de autoclaaf en kan opnieuw worden gebruikt. Na iedere
gebruikerswissel dientThevoCare volgens één van op de pagina 19 beschreven procedures gereinigd en gedesinfecteerd
te worden. Onderhoud door de fabrikant is niet vereist.
