Steel 4-wheeled rollator with elbow supports

1. Introduction
Prior to use of our products you should inspect the equipment for any defects which may
have occurred during transport. If this happens, please contact your retailer.
Then, please read this instruction which includes important information for the user.
Please contact us if you have any questions concerning the use of the equipment. Our
advisors will provide you with any information you require on an ongoing basis.
Please note that if you have questions other than those concerning the use of our products,
you should contact your doctor, nurse or physical therapist.
2. Characteristics
Foldable 4-wheeled rollator is made of powder coated steel frame. It is equipped with
brakes with locking mechanism, seat with removable tray, and basket. The rollator possesses
height adjustable handles, elbow supports, and solid rubber wheels 8’’ in diameter.

3. Application
The rollator is ancillary equipment and is designed for patients with reduced mobility who
need stable support and help while walking. It is especially designed for patients who suffer
from rheumatic changes, limited mobility in radiocarpal and elbow joints, and for patients
with weakened grip strength. The rollator is also recommended to the elderly as an aid in
keeping balance, improving walking comfort and ensuring safety from falling. The use of the
rollator affects positively on the return to activity of the people with locomotion and tilting
to erect position problems. It guarantees better stabilization, support and security while
walking.
4. Assembly and general recommendations for use
Note! Follow the information contained in this manual while assembly and adjustment.
Users with reduced mobility may need help from a third person who has appropriate skills.
Note! Do not use the rollator if any defects or deficiencies (e.g. crack of frame) are noticed
due to the risk of an accident

Folding and unfolding
•Firstly, fix the elbow supports into the mounting openings of the frame and lock
them with mounting wing screws. Secondly, adjust the height by tightening the
locking wing screws.
•Fix and adjust the push handles with brakes into the mounting openings under the
elbow supports by tightening the locking wing screws.
•To unfold the rollator, press down the crossbar which is placed under the seat so
that the hinges which are on the outer sides of the rollator are completely unfolded.
•Hang the basket in the front part of the rollator, below the seat.
•Fix the tray so that the catches of the tray are in the mounting openings.
•Remove plastic casing from wheels.
•To fold the rollator for transport, engage the brake by pulling the handle downwards
energetically. Press the lock of frame folding on the right side of the frame and pull
the crossbar upwards simultaneously. The basket and tray can be dismantled.
Note! Be careful while folding the rollator due to the risk of smashing fingers in hinges.
Brakes
Note! The assistance of the third person may be required while first use regardless of the
user’s health condition.
•In order to stop the rollator, pull the brake handle towards you and the push handle,
and hold.
•While stop or using the seat, lock the brake with locking mechanism by pulling the
brake handle in the opposite direction.
•To release the brake, pull the brake handle towards you and the push handle.
Height adjustment of elbow support
The height of elbow support should be set so that the user can stand upright, as far as he or
she is able to, with his or her shoulders in rest position and with elbows leaned against the
supports. It is inadvisable to hang on the rollator with all the body weight.

•To adjust the height of elbow supports, unscrew the locking wing and round screws
which are located on the outer side of the frame, select appropriate height and
tighten the locking wing screws.
•To adjust the distance of the push handle, unscrew the mounting wing screw which
is located under the elbow support, select appropriate distance and then, tighten
the mounting wing screw.
Note! The handles must be set on the same level.
Adjustment of brakes
Note! Check the condition of brakes before first use. When the brake handles do not brake
equally, they should be adjusted.
Adjustment of upper brake
•Unscrew the nut of brake cable, pull it up t to the appropriate length and lock it by
tightening the locking nut.
Adjustment of lower brake
•Loosen the mounting screw using open-end wrench, pull the black brake cable to
adjust the tension of the cable, and then, tighten the mounting screw.

6. Notes and recommendation
•Only one person can use the rollator.
•The seat can be used only for temporary rest.
•Before using the seat, engage the brake.
•Do not use the seat for transport purposes.
•Do not lean out backwards while sitting on the seat as it may cause an accident.
•Do not stand on the rollator.
•The tray and basket are designed to carry only lightweight and small objects. Do not
carry sharp objects and liquids of high temperature.
•Do not hang any objects on the rollator due to the risk of accident.
•The rollator is designed for users with maximum weight 135 kg.
•The rollator is designed to be used on even surfaces with inclination less than 5%.
•Due to the risk of falling, it is unacceptable to use the rollator on wet, icy, greasy, and
strongly sanded surfaces as they do not provide firm support.
•Remove all potential obstacles in the room such as too high carpets or thresholds and
secure slippery floor with anti-sliding mats.
•Avoid wet surfaces and use the rollator when light is on.
•Be particularly careful while walking on uneven pavement or overcoming curbs. Do
not walk backwards.
•Do not make any repairs or modifications by yourself. Any repairs should be done by
qualified personnel of the manufacturer.
•It is important to keep all the components clean and to store them in an appropriate
way. Storage in rooms with very high humidity (baths, laundries, etc.) or in the open
air, in combination with lack of hygiene will result in a rapid loss of usable and
aesthetic parameters.

7. Maintenance
Reviews
Make a visual inspection of all the joining components of the rollator (latch, hinge) at least
once every three months including:

•Brakes
•Mounting elements (screws, nuts, knobs)
•Height adjustment of handles
•Distance adjustment of elbow support
•Stability and look of the frame
Cleaning
•Clean the frame with damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
•Do not use strong polishing agents due to the damage of protecting coatings.
•Clean the impurities from moving parts of the rollator regularly (hinges, clamping
screws, locks).
8. Warranty information
All products distributed by our company are under a warranty, the terms of which are
described in the warranty card received at the time of purchase.
Please, keep in mind that for warranty purposes, the proof of purchase (receipt or invoice)
should be retained.
