Instructions for new installations:

Testing:
The emergency lighting must be inspected and tested regularly in accordance with local codes of practice.
Note: For safety reasons, tests should be carried out during day light hours. The testing should be done in a dry
environmentandbyaqualiedperson.
Move the plastic diffuser, press the test button to simulate failure of mains power; the emergency light should
come on and driven by battery. The minimum recommended test schedule is as follows: After installation, allow 36
hours to ensure full battery charge and then interrupt the supply; check after 3 hours that the luminaire is still lit.
Recommended Checks:
1. Daily check that charge indicator LED is working
2. Monthly interrupt mains for a short period and check LED lights
3. Six-monthly, check 1 hour duration
4. At the end of the year and subsequently every year; check 3 hour duration: batteries must be replaced when
they can no longer support 3 hour operation.

Warranty:
This product is guaranteed against faulty workmanship and material for a period of 3 years from date of installation.
TIME LED at its discretion will repair, replace or offer a refund for any defective product. Any alterations or
modicationstothisproductwithoutpermissionwillvoidwarranty.TIMELEDwillnotberesponsibleforcostof
removing, retrieving, reinstalling and installation of any replacements.
