The basic movement (Hands,
Dial,
etc. removed)

the
Model
65
is
cleaned
and
lubricated
in
the man-
ner described
for
the
Model
50
on
Page 50.12
of
the Service
Manual.
CAUTION: Extreme care must be
exercised when cleaning Cases,
Dials, Hands, special rings, etc.
which
may
contain materials
other

The
Model
65 requires lubrication
in
addition
to
that
applied
in the
basic movement
as
described
below
:
A.
Apply
non spreading watch
oil
(Moebius Synt-A-Lube
Oil
is
used
in
the factory)
to
the cen-
ter
post
and
the post
for
the
Date
Wheel
Assembly (see
Figure
7)
.
B.
During reassembly,
apply
non
spreading watch
oil
to
three
teeth
of
the
Date
Ring
and
at
the end
of
the Detent Spring
where it engages the Date Ring
(see
Figure
8)
.
C.
The Dial
Rest
has been coated
with
a solid film
lubricant
and
needs ri0 further lubrication.
Reassembly of the Model
65
Movement
After
the basic movement
is
cleaned, lubricated
and
reassembled, the Model
65
is
reassembled as follows:
A.
Insert
Crown
and
Stem Assembly in movement
and
push in
while
rotating
to
engage
the
bracket
.
B. Position Center
Wheel
Assembly on Center
Post
and
engage
with
Pinion
teeth.
