XCE9000SoftwareSpecifications
XCE9000isamultidimensionalelectronickeypadlock,inadditiontothekeypadthereistheremote
controlemergencydeviceforemergencyaction(lockdownmode).Thiswillimmediatelylockdownall
doorsassociatedwiththeremotecontrol.
Passwordsandauthorizations:
MasterCode:
Thehighestlevelpassword,youcansetallthelockfunctions.MasterCodecanonlybechanged,
cannotbedeleted.FactoryMasterCodeis1,2,3,4,5.
Youmustchangethepasswordbeforeyouuse,lockwillnotprogramwithoutchangingthe
MasterCode.Passwordlengthcanbe4to6digits,allpasswordsarethesamecodelengthas
theMasterCode.OnceyouchangethecodelengthoftheMasterCode,allpreviouslyentered
passwordswillbecleared.
ServiceCode:
Passwordaddressis01to10,andreusable.AfterenteringtheUserCodethedoorwillberelock
in5secondsafteropening.Note:Addressreferstoalocationinthelockmemory‐ifthecodeis
programmedusinganaddressfrom01to10‐thelockknowsitisaServiceCodeforexample.
OfficeCode:
Passwordaddressis11to90,andreusable.EnteringtheOfficeCodewillunlockthedoorand
keepthedooropen.EnteringtheOfficeCodeagainwilllockthedoorandkeepthedoorlocked.
EmergencyCode:
Passwordaddressis91to99,andreusable.TheEmergencyCodeisusedtooverridethelock
downmodeinitiatedbytriggeringtheremotecontrolemergencydevice,youmustenterthe
EmergencyCodetoreleasethedoorandstoptheLEDflashes.
Eachuser'spasswordisuniqueanddifferent.Usingthesamepasswordwillberejected.
Passwordaddressesare01to99fortheServiceCodes,OfficeCodesandEmergencyCodes.
Thepasswordaddressesdeterminesthetypeofpassword.
ExceptfortheMasterCode,allpasswordaddressesareemptywhenshippedfromthefactory
orifthelockisreset.
Remotecontrolemergencydeviceandemergencylockstatus:
Thepurposeoftheremotecontrolisforlockingthedoordown(lockdownmode)in
emergenciesonly.Theremotecontroldoesnotreleasethelockdownmode;itonlyinitiatesthe
lockdownmode.
Theeffectiverangeforremotecontrolis75feetinsideand25feetoutside.
WhenthedoorisinlockdownmodetheredwarningLEDwillflash3timespersecond.
InthelockdownmodeyoucanstillenterMasterCode,UserCode,andOfficeCodetounlock
thedoor,butitdoesnotreleasethelockdownmode.
EnteringtheEmergencycodewilldeactivatethelockdownmodeandstoptheLEDflashing.

Onedoorlockcanconnectwithunlimitednumberofremotecontrollers.Oneremotecontroller
canconnectwithunlimitednumberofdoorlocks.
Whendoorlocksreceivetheremotecontrollocksignal,ifthecodeisthesame,doorlockswill
enterthelockdownmodecondition.Ifthecodeisnotthesame,doorlockswillignorethe
signal.

Keypadoperationanduse
XCE9000UsingKeypadforfunctionalsettingandthepasswordunlock.
DirectentertheMastercode,Usercode,orOfficecodetolock/unlockthedoor.
EntertheMasterCodeonthekeypadtounlockthedoor.XCE9000willbelockedautomatically
after5secondsunlocked.
EntertheUserCodeonthekeypadtounlockthedoor.XCE9000willbelockedautomatically
after5secondsunlocked.
EntertheOfficeCodeonthekeypadtounlock.XCE9000remainsdooropenconditionuntilre‐
entertheOfficecodeforlockedcondition.
AfterEntertheOfficecodeonthekeypadtounlock.EnterMastercodeorUsercodeintheopen
condition,thedoorwillbelockedin5seconds.
SetupXCE9000functionsinthedoorlockedcondition.Sequentiallyenter“#”,“Mastercode”,
“functioncode”…etc.Aftersuccessfulinput,thebluelightwillbeflashing2timesandthe
buzzerbeepstwice.
EnterincorrectlyonsettingXCE9000function,theredlightwillbeflashing1timeandbuzzer
beeps1timeimmediately.Afterthebeeps,thewronginputswillbeerasedandrecovertothe
previouscondition.Itcanstartoverthesettingprocess.
Keyboardinusewillbeglow,easytousewhenlightingispoor.
UsingKeypadinput,eachkeyintervalupto5seconds.Onceexceeds5seconds,theredlightwill
illuminate,Buzzersoundedsimultaneously,whichmeansTimeOut.Inputerrors,prior
unsuccessfulinputswillbeclearedandreturntoitspreviouscondition.
Enteredincorrectlythreeconsecutivetimes,Keypadwillbeprohibitedin60seconds.Released
automaticallyafter60seconds.
IntheKeypadinput,itcanusethe'*'keytoclearthepreviousinput

will“beep”twicetoindicateacceptanceofthesettings.

XCE9000usesfouralkalineAAbatteriesasthepowersource
RemoteControlusesa12Valkalinebatteryasthepowersource
WhenthebatteryofXCE9000islow,afterenteringthecorrectpassword,theredlightflashes
fivetimesbeforeitopens‐atthispoint:Changethebatteriesimmediately.
Whentheremotecontrolbatteryislow,afterpressingtheremotecontrolbutton,theremote
controlwillstillwork,buttheredlightwillflash5timestoindicatelowbattery.Changethe
batteryimmediately.
TheXCE900willonlyoperateamaximumof200cyclesinlowbattery.Ifthebatteryhasnot
beenreplacedafter200additionalcyclesthenthelockwillonlyallowMastercodetooperate
thelock.TheredLEDwillflash10timesbeforeopeningthedoor,thebatterymustbechanged.
