Safety
WARNING
Tighten hardware properly
Always tighten hardware to the specied torque.
Over-tightening hardware could deform or break the
hardware or components. Under-tightening hardware
could cause hardware or components to become loose.
Either situation could damage the bicycle and result in
injury to the rider.
WARNING
Re-apply threadlocker
All reused-fasteners with a pre-applied threadlocker
must be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol and have new
threadlocker applied before re-assembly. If a threadlock-
er is not applied, the fasteners may loosen, which could
damage the bicycle and result in injury to the rider.

Maximum tire size
Notice: Measurements of actual tires may vary. Always
verify there is sufcient clearance between the tire and
the frame. Improper tire size could damage the bicycle
frame. Trek recommends 6mm clearance above and on
the sides of the tire.

* While the frame is compatible with 27.5” wheels, you’ll
also need a 27.5” compatible fork. The stock MY23 XXS
Marlin 7 and 8 forks are compatible with both 26” and
27.5” wheels. The stock fork on the MY23 XXS Marlin 6,
however, is only 26” compatible.
** Front derailleur reduces the maximum width of the
rear tire
Seat post
WARNING
Always follow the seatpost manufacturer’s minimum
insertion recommendation. Failure to follow the recom-
mendation could cause damage to the seatpost and
result in injury to the rider.

Cabling – dropper post, no front derailleur
Note: The frame has routing for either a front derailleur or an internally routed dropper post, but not both.
Tip: Remove the bottom bracket to make it easier to route the dropper post housing.




