The warranty is for 12 months. Damages caused by
incorrect use by untrained people or startup by unau-
thorised people are excluded from the warranty.
The device complies with the fundamental health and
safety requirements of the applicable EU regulations
and was tested at the factory for perfect functionality
multiple times. However, if faults in the functionality
occur and cannot be remedied with the measures in
the chapter "Errors and faults", please get in touch
with your dealer or distributor. When making a war-
ranty claim, supply the device number (see the rear of
the device). The invoice acts as warranty certificate.
When manufacturer's instructions or legal regulations
have not been followed, or after unauthorised changes
to the device are made, the manufacturer is not
responsible for the resulting damages. Changes to the
device or unauthorised replacement of individual
parts can drastically impact the electrical safety of this
product and leads to the forfeit of the warranty. Liabil-
ity does not extend to damages to people or property
caused by the device being used other than as
described in the instructions in this operating manual.

changes as part of constant development and product
improvement without prior notice.
No liability is accepted for damages resulting from im-
proper use. In such cases, entitlements to a warranty
are then also forfeited.

B-3 Operating manual – Multifunction measuring meter T3000 GB
Description of the device
The T3000 Multifunction measuring meter is used for
carrying out detailed analysis in the fields of material
and construction diagnostics. To do so, the device has
a 24 bit analogue/digital converter which delivers pre-
cise results and is permanently stable compared with
analogue measuring instruments.
The operating elements are found on the front and
sides of the robust housing. A scratch proof colour
display with touch function (1) is allows entering and
selecting values and functions and also displaying de-
tected results. You can also navigate the device soft-
ware for selecting measuring functions by using the
cross control (3) and the "OK" key (5).
Pressing the "Back" key (2) returns you to the previ-
ous screen of the device software. Pressing the "Main
menu" key (6) opens the main menu which is also
shown when you start the device.
Pressing the "Illumination on/off" key (4) either
switches the background illumination for the colour
display and the keys on or dims them.
The sensor connections (one SDI connection (7) and
one BNC connection (8)) are found above the colour
display (1). At the SDI connection (7), connect the ap-
propriate digital SDI sensor for the corresponding sit-
uation. The universal interface of the SDI sensors
allows the multifunction measuring meter to automat-
ically detect the sensor construction and/or indicates
when the wrong type of sensor is connected. Depend-
ing on the sensor construction, it is calibrated to the
prevailing surrounding conditions after connection.
Any sensor settings are saved directly to the corre-
sponding SDI sensor. The various measured values,
such as relative humidity, dew point or flow rate, are
automatically calculated by the SDI sensors and
transmitted to the multifunction measuring meter.
At the BNC connection (8), you connect passive wood
or building moisture sensors.
The measured results of the sensor which is connect-
ed to the SDI or BNC connection are shown in the de-
vice's colour display (1).
The "On/Off" key (10) and a USB connection (11) are
found on the sides of the device.
You can connect the device to a computer by using the
supplied USB connection cable. Then you can extract
and analyse your measured results with the optional
MultiMeasure Studio Standard or MultiMeasure Studio
Professional software. Contact TROTEC®customer
service if you want this alternative version.

shows it continually (when this option is
selected).
Off: Switches 79 display off.
79 Shows the measured values according to the specifica-

Minutes: Duration of the measured interval
m/s: Shows the measured flow rate as a numerical
value in the selected unit (e.g. m/s).
This unit is selected in the "Settings" screen,
