operating instructions.
Store the equipment safely when not in used and keep out of the reach of children and
infants.
Please turn off the power before replace the socket.
Never turn off the power while processing the firmware update.
Use only approved power sources.
The product is only suitable for operation in dry, dust free, clean environment.
Do not allow liquids or foreign objects to enter. Failure to do so may severely damage
your duplicator.

⌘Preparation Tips
Make sure to use stable power supply.
Please use at clean & dry environment.
Please keep the environment well ventilated.
When the duplicator operates, it is normal for the machine to heat up.
Please do not move the duplicator during operation to ensure better operation.
Please do not remove HDDs during operation to avoid damage.
Please use power supply of its original manufacturer to ensure working normal.

➀Product Overview
⌘Function
The Hybrid series obtain products line to meet office usage. It can backup data between SATA
and USB. Two models are available in different speed selection. The high-speed model
supports high speed data transfer for SATA HDD/SSD at 18GB per minute and 2.4GB per
minute for USB/USB-HDD. Hybrid series are also equipped with four erase modes for meeting
different data security level. Comply with the U.S. Department of Defense's erase standard
5220.22-M. It is important to make sure the data inside the disregarded HDD will not be
retrieved and can be safely transferred.

➌Quick Copy Mode
This mode can identify the HDD formats of FAT, NTFS, Mac (HFS, HFX, HFS+) and Linux. It will
only copy the data and system area, which can highly enhance the copying efficiency.
➍Support ALL Partitions format for duplication
➎Four Kinds of Copy Modes
Four copy modes to meet different requirements: System and Files, All Partition, whole HDD,
Percentage Copy

USB/HDD target port: Copy target for 2.5”/3.5”SATA HDD/SSD, USB drive, USB-HDD
UP: Up key, to go previous page, backward
DOWN: Down key, to go next page, forward
OK: Confirm key, to confirm selection, to enter the page
ESC: Cancel key, to cancel selection, to exit
LED light: Red on(error), Green on(pass), Green blinking(processing), Yellow

➁How to Copy HDD/USB/USB-HDD
⌘Start to Copy
Step 1: Prepare the source
Prepare a source HDD/USB and target HDD/USB.
Caution
• It’s strongly recommended the source and target are the same capacity.
Step 2: Place Source & Targets
Place source HDD/USB to source port, targets HDD/USB to one target port.

Step 3: Enter Function “1.Copy”
Use ▲▼ keys to select “1.Copy”, and then press “OK”. Duplication will start to proceed.
The information below shows related processing information on LCD during duplication.
Note
• It’s strongly recommended to execute “Compare” after duplication or use function of
“Copy+Compare” to ensure data correctness.
Before duplication, please ensure to select the copy mode and copy area, by entering “6.1
Copy Area”.

Appropriate copy area can greatly reduce operation time and have better efficiency. There are
four copy modes with different copy area, please go to function “6.1 Copy Area”.

➊System and Files: (Quick Copy)
It will copy source System and Files instead of the whole media. The system will analyze the
source HDD/USB and identify the data area to copy. As long as the source data within the
target capacity, the copy will be processed. FAT16/32/64, NTFS, Linux (ext2/ext3/ext4) formats
are supported for this copy mode, with additional format HFS+, HFS, HFX are supported by
HDD.

Only 120GB data area will be copied.
➋All Partitions: Support All Formats
Copy all of the partitions area bit-by-bit no matter there is data exist or not. The capacity of
target has to be bigger than the partition required capacity.

➌Whole Area: Support All Formats
Mirror copy the whole source media, no matter of the content, format, partition or empty
space. This mode does not analyze the data.

Copy the selected percentage range of source HDD/USB.

●Copy area selection:
Example: There are two partitions in one 500G HDD. Data and OS (90G) are saved in the
partition. (C:30G/D:60G)
Caution • It is recommended to execute Compare after Copy to confirm the accuracy.
• It is recommended to copy data by function “3.Copy+Compare”.
※Set Tolerance Bad Track
Select function "6.2 Skip Error" to set the number of error that you accept to skip during tasks
processing. If users expect the device very critical for content correctness, it is strongly
recommended to keep the Skip Error to be "0".

※Troubleshooting When Duplication Fails
Check if too many bad tracks on HDD/USB can cause duplication failures.
Check the setting of function “6.2 Skip Error”.

● Make sure the capacity of source is smaller than target. Please go to the function to check
capacity, “5.1 Show Disk Info” Or “5.2 Show USB Info”.

The functions show basic information of both source and target. Check the basic information
for USB or HDD information.

This function shows the duplicator information such as model name and firmware version.

➂How to Compare HDD/USB Data

※Comparison Steps
Step 1: Prepare source USB/HDD and copied target USB/HDD.
Step 2: Place source USB/HDD to source port, target USB/HDD to one target port.

➃How to Erase HDD Data
⌘Confirm HDD Data Sanitization
Caution
Please note that the data on the HDD will be erased after executing the function.
All erase methods are designed for HDD erasing, available for SATA port only.
● Erase Modes Settings:
There are 4 erase methods: Quick Erase, Full Erase, DoD Erase, Secure Erase.
Analysis of Erase Methods
● Erase Options:
(1)Quick Erase
The function will ONLY erase the index of the HDD devices. It is the quickest way to erase HDD.
It will damage the data in device. Please make sure you have backup all important data before
using this function.
