Ultra Power UP1200+ User manual

UP1200+ is specifically designed for 8 channels LiPo/LiHV Charger of UAV Drones, and
built-in charging nanny funcation, which can turn charging the battery in turn, and
automatically turn to the next batch packs(2pcs battery packs)once fully charged in last
batch. It also can support charge & fast charge & storage mode, and UP1200+ has
short-circuit protection, reverse polarity protection, and overheat protection to ensure
maximum safety.
1.Power on: Connect to the power source and turn on the power switch. All the working indicators
will illuminate for 2 seconds, and the LCD display screen will show the start-up page for 2
seconds, and then it will enter into the standby page.
2. Battery connection: Please connect your batteries according to below picture.
3. Setting the charging parameter.
1) Connect to the battery 2) Connect to the balance socket.

3) Press + simultaneously to choose the battery type, the default battery type is LiPo.
1) Press button to choose the appropriate current, 5A,10A,15A,20A,25A(Normally, we
suggest to charge with 1C charge current).
2) Press button to choose the mode you need, can choose charge mode, fast charge
mode, storage charge mode, the default mode is charge mode.
4) After all the setting done, long press “Start/Stop” for 2 seconds until heard “beep” sound, then the
charger is under charging process , the indicator shows in red, when fully charged, the indicator
shows green color.

Warranty And Service
1. Never leave the charger unattended when it is connected to its power supply. If any malfunction
is found, TERMINATE THE PROCESS AT ONCE and refer to the operation manual.
2. Keep the charger away from dust, moist, rain, heat, direct sunshine and vibration.
3. The input voltage is AC 220V, before connect to the power source, please keep its input voltage
is the same as the charger’s.
4. Default battery type of the charger is standard LiPo battery type. Before connecting the battery,
please keep the battery type comply with the charger setting.
We guarantee this product to be free of manufacturing and assembly defects for a period of one
year from the time of purchase. The warranty only applies to material or operational defects, which
are present at the time of purchase. During that period, we will repair or replace free of service
charge for products deemed defective due to those causes.
You will be required to produce proof of purchase (invoice or receipt). This warranty is not valid for
any damage or subsequent damage arising as a result of misuse, modification or as a result of failure
to observe the procedures outlined in this manual.
These warnings and safety instructions are particularly important. Please follow the instructions
for maximum safety. Otherwise the charger and the battery can be damaged or at worst it can
catch fire.
Switch With LiPo Battery And LiHV Battery
Please take seriously with this function, wrong battery type connected will damage battery even
catch fire explosion.
1) LiPo battery switch to LiHV battery
2) LiHV battery switch to LiPo battery
Press the and simultaneously for 3 seconds, the device will go into LiHV battery mode.
Only need to press the and buttons simultaneously, the device will go into LiPo battery
mode. ( LiPo cut off voltage: 4.2V, LiHV cut off voltage: 4.35V ).
Charging Nanny Working Process
Charge/Fast charge mode : the device can turn charging the battery in turn and automatically check the
battery is fully or not, turn to next packs when fully charged with last packs (2pcs/batch).

Storage mode: 8 battery packs can be charged/discharged simultaneously under storage mode.
If a Lithium battery is not used for long time, it's highly recommended to charge or discharge the
battery to 3.85V with Storage mode so as to extend the battery life. when the battery voltage is higher
than 3.85V per cell, the charger will discharge the battery; on the opposite, when the battery voltage
lower than 3.85V per cell, the charger will charge the battery under Storage mode.
Storage Mode
Press the “Mode” button, choose the Storage mode, the LED will be lighted.
Long press the “Start/Stop” button, enter into the Storage mode.

5) Press button to switch the battery data of each channel in the LCD display screen, LCD
display screen just display one battery data at one time, if you want to see other battery data,
you can press this button to reach.
