TONER CARTRIDGE DISASSEMBLY
1. Release the toner hopper from the drum unit by first turning
the blue handle (shown) down from its upright position to
unlock it.
2. Blue handle in down (unlocked) position.
3. Separate the hopper from the drum unit.
Lift from the blue handle side first as shown.
Set aside.
DRUM UNIT DISASSEMBLY
4. Remove the two screws from both ends of the drum unit
cover.

5. Using a small flathead screwdriver, push in the three tabs shown, along the bottom rear of the cartridge (left photo).
Push in two additional tabs along the top rear of the cartridge (right photo).
6. Remove the drum unit cover. 7. Remove the two screws from both sides of the doctor blade.

8. Carefully lift one side of the doctor blade as shown. 9. Remove the two screws that hold the gearless end cap
in place.
10. Slide the the end cap out by approximately two inches.
The drum axle is connected to it.
11. The PCR can now be removed.

12. Remove the drum erase lamp strip shown. 13. Slide the end cap and axle out completely.
14. Remove the screws that hold the gear side end cap
in place.
15. Remove the end cap and internal gears as shown.

16. Remove the developer roller. 17. Remove the OPC drum.
18. Remove the two screws on both ends of the wiper blade. 19. Remove the drum erase lamp holder by pulling it out.

20. Remove the wiper blade. 21. Pull out the fuse holder located on the side of the
cartridge. Clean and refill the cartridge.
22. Replace the fuse and re-assemble the cartridge by
following the previous steps in reverse order.
