1. To loosen the two knobs on the
battery cover by turning
counterclockwise.
And pull the two knobs up to
remove the battery cover.

NOTE: Make sure the battery cover is securely closed, or you may be unable to
turn ON the terminal.

NOTE: To power on the device properly, make sure to replace the battery cover
after installing the battery.
WARNING! There is a risk of fire and burns if the battery pack is handled improperly. DO
NOT disassemble, crush, puncture, short external contacts, or dispose the
battery pack in fire or water. DO NOT attempt to open or service the battery pack.
Dispose of used batteries according to local recycling guidelines in your area.

Charging the Battery
English
Before using the terminal for the first time, you need to charge it for about 24
hours. After that, you can charge the terminal for 4 hours to recharge the
battery to full capacity. Charge the terminal using the USB charging cable or
the docking station.
1. After PA720 is connected to the charging cable, push up the release
buttons on the both sides of the USB charging cable to lock PA720.

2. Use USB charging cable to connect the AC adapter.
3. Plug the AC adapter cord into an electrical outlet.

Turning on the terminal for the first time
English
After you have initially charged your device for about 24 hours, the device is
ready to be used. You can now start up your device. You can then set up the
languages, WiFi setting, and date and time.
Power-On Button
Turn ON your device by pressing the power button on the right side of

Checking the Battery Status
If the battery level becomes low in the course of normal use, a status icon
appears on the device screen indicating low or very low battery status. In both
cases, connect PC with USB to back up your data, and then recharge your
device as soon as possible.

4. Using the SD/SIM Card
The PA720 has SD/SIM card slots inside the battery compartment.

2. Remove the battery cover and the
main battery.

Removing the SD/SIM Card
1. To loosen the two knobs on the battery cover by turning counterclockwise.
2. Remove the battery cover and the main battery.
3. Press the card in and release. The card pops out.
4. Remove the card from the slot.
5. Put the battery back into the battery cover.
6. Replace the battery cover.
7. To tighten the two knobs on the battery cover by turning clockwise.

CAUTION! Before installing the SIM card, please backup your data to prevent data loss
because of a low battery.

3. Erste Schritte

Warnung! Es besteht das Risiko eines Feuers, wenn der Akku unsachgemäß gehandhabt
wird. Den Akku NICHT öffnen, quetschen, stechen, Kontakte kurzschließen oder
in Feuer oder Wasser entsorgen. NICHT versuchen den Akku zu öffnen oder
reparieren. Entsorgen Sie verbrauchte Batterien gemäß den örtlichen
Recyclingvorschriften.

Aufladen der Batterie
Vor der ersten Nutzung des Gerätes müssen Sie es ca. 24 Stunden lang
aufladen. Danach können Sie es 4 Stunden lang aufladen, bis die Batterie
wieder die volle Kapazität hat. Laden Sie das Gerät mit dem USB-Ladekabel
oder der Dockingstation wieder auf.

Auslösetasten an beiden Seiten des USB-Ladekabels nach oben, um
den PA720 zu sperren.

Das Terminal erstmalig einschalten
Nach der erstmaligen Ladung des Gerätes für ca. 24 Stunden ist Ihr Gerät
einsatzbereit. Sie können Ihr Gerät jetzt einschalten. Sie können die Sprache,
WLAN Einstellung, sowie Datum und Uhrzeit einrichten.

Überprüfung des Batteriestatus
Wenn der Batteriestand während der normalen Nutzung zu Neige geht, wird
ein Statussymbol für einen niedrigen oder sehr niedrigen Batteriestand auf
dem Display angezeigt. Verbinden Sie Ihren PC in beiden Fällen mit USB,
um Ihre Daten zu sichern und laden Sie das Gerät anschließend so schnell
wie möglich auf.
