INTRODUCTION - K22 SERIES
K22 Keypad is a sleek, and compact numeric keypad featuring 22 keys and
an RS-232 serial port interface (R version) or a keyboard port interface (AT
& PS/2 versions or USB port)
Excellent for numeric entry, this new design is also perfect for use with any
compact, book sized, or notebook PC.

(or PS/2 for P version, PS/2& AT for PA version, USB for USB version.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
In order to use your keypad, you must have the following equipment and
software:

HARDWARE INSTALLATION
For R version, plug the female D Type 9 pin keypad cable connector into the
RS-232 port (COM1 or COM2).
For A& P Versions, plug the connector into the keyboard port.
For USB versions, plug the connector into the USB port.
SOFTWARE INSTALLATION
(For R Version only)
To install the DOS Device Driver for Keypad
The keypad is easy to install. To perform installation, make a backup copy
of your keypad driver diskette, then insert the back-up copy in a floppy drive
and perform the following steps:

If you want to run the keypad driver at boot time, modify your
AUTOEXEC.BAT file on the root directory of your boot disk to contain the
following line:(DRV : \ ) PATH_DIRECTORY \ ) KP / X
To automatically detect which communication port is attached to the
keypad and it select if available.

FCC RADIO FREQUENCY INTERFERENCE STATEMENT
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a
Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation us
subject to the following two conditions.: (1) this device may not cause
harmful interference, (2) this device must accept any interference received,
including interference that may cause undesired operation. These limits are
designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a
residential installation. However, there is no guarantee that interference will
not occur in a particular installation. This equipment generates uses and can

NOTE: The K22 22R version has function key operation. To use the
function keys such as f1, f2, just press and hold the “Fn” key located on
the upper-high right-hand corner, and then type the desired function key.
Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to
which the receiver is connected.

Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.

Re-orient or relocate the receiving antenna.

Remember to either re-execute AUTOEXEC.BAT or to reboot the computer
system in order to load the keypad driver into system memory.
SETUP.EXE

appear and guide you through the installation procedure. After complet-
ing installation, you will be prompted to restart Windows in order to
properly load the driver into the system.
To install the Windows Device Driver for Keypad:
Place your keypad driver diskette in your selected floppy drive.
