1. INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
POR FAVOR LEA TODAS LAS INSTRUCCIONES CON
CUIDADO ANTES DE UTILIZAR EL PRODUCTO.
ESTE APARATO HA SIDO DISEÑADO PARA USO
DOMÉSTICO EXCLUSIVAMENTE.
•Lea las instrucciones cuidadosamente antes de
usarlas y guárdelas para futuras referencias.
•Compruebe si la red eléctrica a la que va a enchufar
el radiador coincide con la clasificación eléctrica del
mismo.
•Asegúrese de que la fuente de alimentación del
enchufe en el que esta conectado el aparato esté de
acuerdo con la etiqueta de calificación del mismo.
•Cuando el aparato no esté funcionando, por favor
retire el enchufe de la red eléctrica.

•El enchufe debe retirarse de la toma de corriente
antes de limpiarlo.
•No quite el enchufe tirando del cable de
alimentación.
•Evite el uso de un cable prolongador, ya que esto
puede recalentar el mismo y causar riesgo de
incendio.
•No utilice este radiador en un entorno húmedo,
como por ejemplo un cuarto de baño.
•El aparato está diseñado para uso doméstico. No lo
utilice al aire libre.
•No cubra, ni obstruya la salida de calor o las
aberturas de entrada de aire del radiador.
•No coloque este radiador cerca de materiales,
superficies o sustancias inflamables, ya que puede
haber riesgo de incendio.
•Si el cable de alimentación está dañado, debe ser
reemplazado por el fabricante o un agente de
servicio o persona cualificada para ello, para así
evitar un peligro.
•No cuelgue nada sobre el brasero mientras esté en
funcionamiento.
•No deje el brasero encendido sin supervision.
•Cuando se utiliza por primera vez, es habitual que el
aparato emita algún ruido o un fuerte olor. Por favor,
no se preocupe si esto ocurre.

•Los niños deben ser supervisados para asegurarse
de que no juegan con el aparato.

•Los niños de menos de 3 años deben mantenerse
alejados a menos que estén supervisados
continuamente.
•Los niños de edades comprendidas entre 3 años y 8
años sólo deben encender / apagar el aparato
siempre que estén bajo supervisión y entiendan los
peligros involucrados en el uso de este aparato.
•Los niños de edades comprendidas entre 3 años y
menos de 8 años no deben enchufar, regular y
limpiar el aparato ni realizar el mantenimiento del
mismo.
•PRECAUCIÓN - Algunas partes de este producto
pueden calentarse mucho y causar quemaduras. Se
debe prestar especial atención a los niños y las
personas vulnerables.
•Este aparato puede ser utilizado por niños de 8 años
o más y personas con capacidades físicas,
sensoriales o mentales reducidas o por falta de
experiencia y conocimientos si han recibido
supervisión o instrucciones sobre el uso del aparato
de forma segura y entienden los peligros
involucrados.
•Los niños no deben jugar con el aparato. La limpieza
y el mantenimiento del usuario no deben ser
realizados por niños sin supervisión.

3. INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO
Antes de su uso por primera vez
Verifique al desembalar el artículo que éste no está dañado de
ninguna manera.
Nota: Cuando el aparato se enciende por primera vez o cuando se
enciende después de no haber sido utilizado durante un largo
periodo de tiempo, es normal que emita un poco de olor e incluso
humos. No se preocupe, ya que esto desaparecerá cuando el
radiador esté en uso un poco de tiempo.
Conecte el aparato a la toma de corriente. Asegúrese de que la
corriente utilizada corresponde a la indicada en la pegatina del
artículo.
El brasero se encenderá en el momento en el que accione uno de
sus interruptores de control de potencia. Cada interruptor controla
uno de los elementos calefactores.
•Pulse únicamente el interruptor I para obtener 400W
Colóquelo en la postición “I” (Encendido)
•Pulse únicamente el interruptor II para obtener 500W
Colóquelo en la postición “II” (Encendido)
•Pulse ambos interruptores para obtener 900W
Coloque ambos interruptores en la posición “I” y “II”
(Encendido)
Cuando desee desconectar el brasero, coloque ambos interruptores
en la posición “0” (Apagado)

4. LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
Después del uso, y antes de limpiar, siempre desenchufe el aparato
y espere hasta que se haya enfriado completamente.
El aparato debe limpiarse regularmente para evitar la acumulación
de polvo y suciedad, lo que afectará su rendimiento.
Use un paño seco para su limpieza exterior. No use productos
químicos ni abrasivos, estropajos metálicos, etc. que puedan
deteriorar las superficies del aparato.
Precaución: No utilice el aparato hasta que no se haya
secado completamente.
Para guardar el aparato, vuelva es aconsejable colocarlo en su
embalaje original y guardarlo en lugar seco y limpio.
5. INFORMACION INHERENTE MEDIOAMBIENTE
Este aparato se ha marcado de acuerdo con la
Directiva Europea 2012/19/EU referente a la
eliminación de los Desperdicios de Aparatos
Eléctricos y Electrónicos (RAEE). El símbolo del que
consta en el aparato indica que el producto al final
de su vida útil no se debe tratar como basura doméstica normal,
sino que se debe llevar a los centros de recogida diferenciada de
desperdicios eléctricos y electrónicos o bien entregar al vendedor
en el momento de comprar un nuevo aparato. La adecuada
recogida de este aparato contribuye a evitar posibles repercusiones
negativas para el ambiente o la salud de las personas.
La eliminación debe hacerse respetando los reglamentos
medioambientales locales vigentes. Para informaciones más

detalladas inherentes al tratamiento, la eliminación o el reciclado de
este producto, rogamos contacten el servicio local de eliminación
de desechos o a la tienda donde compró el aparato.
No tirar el embalaje del aparato a la basura sino seleccionar los
diversos materiales como poliestireno, cartón, bolsas de plástico,
etc. de acuerdo con las normas locales sobre la eliminación de
basuras y las normas vigentes.
Los materiales del embalaje de este producto son
reciclables. Puede depositar estos materiales en un
lugar público de recogida para su reciclaje.
Para aquellos aparatos que contengan pilas o baterías
recargables, estas partes se deben extraer y depositar
en los contenedores de reciclaje claramente
identificados a tal fin. Por favor acuda a la papelera de
reciclaje más cercana de su localidad o tienda habitual. Se ruega
cumplir con sus obligaciones legales y contribuir a la protección de
nuestro medio ambiente.
6. SERVICIO POSTVENTA
Este producto cuenta con una garantía de 2 años contados a partir
de la fecha de compra del producto, con las siguientes condiciones:
•La garantía es válida sólo con la presentación de la factura
de compra del producto.
•No están cubiertos por la garantía los daños causados
durante el transporte, negligencia o mal uso, montaje o
instalación incorrecta, así como las influencias externas,
tales como: rayos atmosféricos o eléctricos, inundaciones,
humedad, etc.

•Tampoco estarán cubiertos por la garantía los daños
causados como consecuencia de inadecuada instalación,
conexión de alimentación (eléctrica, agua, gas), desagüe y
evacuación.
•No están cubiertos por la garantía los daños estéticos (como
rasguños, desconchados, etc) surgidos por el uso.
•Esta garantía termina cuando se descubre que han sido
sometidas a reparaciones, reformas o intervenciones por
cualquier persona no autorizada por Universal Blue.
•La garantía finaliza cuando el producto no ha sido utilizado
para uso doméstico exclusivamente.
•La garantía no cubre aquellas deficiencias derivadas de una
incorrecta utilización y mantenimiento periódico del
producto, tal y como se especifica en el manual de
instrucciones.
•Para las placas de cocción, no está cubierto por la garantía si
el producto se ha sellado con silicona durante su instalación.
•No están cubiertos por la garantía los accesorios o
componentes consumibles.
•Se excluyen de la garantía los componentes de goma.
•El producto no está cubierto por la garantía si carece de la
placa identificativa correspondiente. El usuario deberá
comunicar al servicio técnico los datos incluídos en la placa
identificativa cuando así se requiera.
•Para hacer uso de la garantía acuda al centro donde compró
este producto o bien contacte con nosotros de cualquiera de
las siguientes formas:

1. IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

THE PRODUCT.
THIS APPLIANCE HAS BEEN DESIGNED FOR HOME
USE ONLY.
•Important safety instructions. Read them carefully
and keep for the future reference.
•Check whether or not the local power supply mains
matches the appliance electric rating printed on the
label before operation.
•Ensure the socket’s power supply is in accordance
with the rating label on the heater and that the
socket is earthed.
•When the appliance is not in operation, please
remove plug from main supply.

•The plug must be removed from the socket-outlet
before cleaning or maintaining the appliance.
•Don't remove the plug by pulling the power cord.
•Avoid the use of an extension cord as this may
overheat and cause a risk of fire.
•Don’t use this heater in the immediate surroundings
of a bath, shower or a swimming pool. Never locate
the heater where it may fall into the water.
•The device has been designed to be used indoor
only. Do not use outdoors.
•Do not cover or obstruct any of the heat outlet grilles
or the air intake openings of the heater.
•The room to be heated should not contain any easy
inflammable materials (e.g., petrol, solvents, spray
canisters etc.) or other easy combustible materials
(e.g., wood or paper). Keep such materials away
form equipment. Risk of fire!!
•Do not operate the heater with a damaged cord or
plug, or after the heater malfunctions, has been
dropped, or damaged in any manner.
•Do not hang anything on the heater while it is
running.
•Do not leave the heater running without any
supervision.
•When it is used for first time, it is common to emit a
noise or a strong odor. Please, do not worry if this
happens.

Warnings!
•Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
•Children of less than 3 years should be kept away
unless continuously supervised.
•Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years
shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that
it has been placed or installed in its intended normal
operating position and they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved.
•Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years
shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or
perform user maintenance.
•Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning
and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
•This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.

3. USING THE APPLIANCE
Before using for the first time
Check when you are unpacking the appliance that is not damaged.
Note: When the appliance is switched on for the first time or when it
is switched on after not being used for a long period, it is normal to
smell some odour and even smoke. Please, do not worry as it will
disappear when after a few minutes.
Connect the device to the power outlet. Make sure that power suply
corresponds to the one indicated on the rating label.
The brazier will light up when any of switch controls are switched
on. This product has 2 heating elements,. Each heating element is
controlled with a switch control:
•Press only switch I to get 400W
Place it in the "I" position (On)
•Press only switch II to get 500W
Place it in the "II" position (On)
•Press both switches to get 900W
Set both switches to position "I" and “II” (On)
To turn off the brazier, set both switches to position "0" (Off)

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
After using the appliance, and before cleaning it, always unplug the
appliance and wait until it is cool.
The appliance should be cleaned regularly to avoid dirt and dust
building up which will affect its performance.
Use a dry cloth for exterior cleaning. Do not use chemicals,
abrasives, metal scourers, etc. that may damage the surfaces of the
appliance.
Caution: Do not use the appliance until it is completely dry.
To store the appliance,put the appliance back into its original
packaging and store it in a clean dry place.
5. ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION
This appliance is labelled in compliance with
European directive 2012/19/EU for Waste Electrical
and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). By ensuring that
this appliance is disposed of correctly, you will help
prevent any possible damage to the environment
and to human health, which might otherwise be caused if it were
disposed of in the wrong way.
The symbol on the product indicates that it may not be treated as
normal household waste. It should be taken to a collection point for
the recycling of electrical and electronic goods.
This appliance requires specialist waste disposal. For further
information regarding the treatment, recover and recycling of this
product please contact your local council, your household waste
disposal service, or the shop where you purchased it.

For more detailed information about treatment, recovery and
recycling of this product, please contact your local city office, your
household waste disposal service or the shop where you purchased
the product.
The packaging materials are recyclable product.
These materials can be deposited in public collection
point for recycling.
For devices containing batteries or rechargeable
batteries, these parts must be removed and disposed
of in clearly marked recycling bins. Please go to the
nearest recycling bin in your location or common store.
Please comply with your legal obligations and contribute protecting
our environment.
6. AFTER SALES SERVICE
This appliance has a warranty of 2 years from the date of purchase,
considering the following notes:
•The guarantee is valid only on presentation of the product's
purchase invoice.
•Damage caused during transport, negligence or misuse,
incorrect assembly or installation, as well as external
influences such as: atmospheric or electrical rays, flooding,
humidity, etc. are not covered by the warranty.
•Damage caused as a result of improper installation, power
connection (electricity, water, gas), drainage and disposal is
also not covered by the warranty.
•Aesthetic damage (such as scratches, chips, etc.) arising
from use are not covered by the warranty.
•This warranty ends when it is discovered that repairs,
alterations or interventions have been made by anyone not
authorized by Universal Blue.

•The warranty ends when the product has not been used for
domestic use only.
•The warranty does not cover deficiencies resulting from
improper use and periodic maintenance of the product as
specified in the instruction manual.
•For induction and ceramic hobs, the product is loss of
warranty in case it had been sealed with silicone or other
product during its installation.
•Accessories or consumable components are not covered by
the warranty.
•Rubber components are excluded from the warranty.
•The product is not covered by the warranty if it lacks the
corresponding identification plate. The user must inform the
technical service of the data included on the identification
plate when required.
