our stroller
Remove the stroller from the carton and dispose of all packaging immediately. The rear wheels, front bar and hood all need to
be installed prior to use.
1. Release the frame locking strap
by simultaneously pressing the
two buckle sides in a pincer
motion.
1. Lift the handle until you hear
the frame lock into the open
position.
Wheels and brakes
1. Line up the rear wheel/brake
assembly so that the brake bar
is facing AWAY from the
stroller.
2. Lift the rear assembly inserting
the frame tubes and continuing
until the assembly is securely
locked into place.

1. Press down on the brake lever
to simultaneously engage the
brake in both wheels.
2. To release, simply lift the lever
with you foot.
ALWAYS test that the brakes are
fully engaged by pushing the stroller
forward and backward.
1. Insert the wheel pin into the
housing.
2. Release the wheel lock and insert
the heel as far as it can go.

Front wheel o

eration
The wheels on your RAD stroller can swivel through 3600or be fixed in
position:
1. To fix your wheel in position, turn each dial lock so that the centre
line is VERTICAL.
2. To release your locked wheel, turn each dial lock so that the centre
line is HORIZONTAL
ALWAYS ensure that BOTH wheels are set to the same action.
IMPORTANT WARNING: Always test that the wheels and/or brakes are securely engaged before use.

Your seat section
1. Line up each of the seat
connectors with the corresponding
housing located on either side of
the stroller frame.
2. Insert the connecters into the
housing until the seat is securely
in place.
1. Insert the two bumper bar pins in to
the housing located in the side
connectors of the seat.
2. To remove the bar, press on each of
the buttons and lift the bar out of
the housing. Your bar can also
operate as a “gate” by opening only
one side!
To remove the seat or face it in the
opposite direction:
1. Simultaneously press both grey
buttons located on either side of
the seat unit and lift the seat unit
from the frame.
NEVER remove the seat with a child in
it.
1. To install your hood, place each
clamp around the seat tube so
that the locking rivet is located in
the centre of the plastic clamp.
2. To remove, lift each clamp over the
locking rivet and lift off the canopy.
1. To adjust your footrest,
simultaneously press the two
adjusting buttons on either side of
the footrest and move it up or
down to the desired position.

2. Press the centre locking button
while simultaneously moving the
handle up or down.
3. Releasing the locking button will
allow the handle to lock into the
next available handle position.

our harness
Y
our stroller is fitted with a multi point safety harness system. Your child MUST always be harnessed while in the stroller.
1. Insert Buckles (A) and (B) into either side of the Buckle Housing
(C). Keep inserting until they click into place securely.
2. Carefully adjust the harness straps to snugly fit your child by
adjusting the Sliders (D) located on all Shoulder Straps, Waist
Straps and the Crotch Strap.
3. To open the harness, release the Buckle Prongs by squeezing on
the top and bottom prongs simultaneously and pull apart from the
Buckle Housing.
This process may be difficult, as your buckle system has been
designed to meet very stringent safety standards to ensure
that a child cannot release the harness unaided.
The harness should be snugly fitted to the baby’s body, tight enough so that the baby cannot
wriggle itself free of the straps but loose enough so as not to cause the baby any discomfort.
IMPORTANT WARNING: Always check that all chassis hinges are securely engaged before use.

the seat unit in place.
1. Squeeze the frame lock button.
2. While keeping the button depressed push
the handle all the way inward until you feel
resistance by the secondary lock.
3. Press the grey button to release the
secondary lock and continue to push the
handle downward until you feel the frame
release.

Be sure to check that all hinges, clamps and buckles are securely fixed and in place before use.
Check all parts for breakage or fatigue before use. Discontinue immediately if any part is found to be damaged or broken.
The maximum weight of the child for which this stroller is intended is 20 kg’s (44 lbs) and height of 96 cm (38 in)
Exceeding the recommended load may cause this unit to become unstable.
Care MUST be taken when folding the stroller to prevent finger entrapments.
Can be used from 6 months +. A bassinet specially designed to be used with a stroller is recommended when using this
stroller for a newborn.
NEVER jog with a newborn baby in any pram or stroller.
ALWAYS ensure that the child is clear of all moving parts when adjusting the stroller.
ALWAYS engage the brake system when the stroller is at rest.
NEVER leave any child unattended in the stroller.
NEVER use on escalators or stairs.
When in the stroller the child must ALWAYS wear the safety harness, correctly fitted and adjusted, at all times.
DO NOT hang shopping bags from the handle as this may affect the stroller’s stability.
Always use the basket provided, the maximum weight in the basket is 6 kg’s (13 lbs)
Do not carry additional children. It may be unsafe to use any accessories other than VALCO approved ones.
ALWAYS be aware of the risks provided by fire and other significant sources of heat such as radiators etc. which may be
in the immediate vicinity of your stroller.
This product is intended for domestic use only. It is not intended for commercial use.
