LOG SET INSTALLATION PREPARATION
The colors of the logs in the following images may differ from the birch logs
but the positioning of the logs remains the same.
LOG PLACEMENT
The positioning of logs is critical to safe and clean operation of this fireplace. Sooting and other
problems may result if the logs are not properly and firmly positioned in the fireplace.
BEFORE BEGINNING THE INSTALLATION:
1. Remove the Invisimesh barrier and glass door on replace using instructions from the replace manual.
2. Install liner kit before the logset. See the liner instructions manual for further information.
3. Place logs in position as shown in Figure 1 and the following pages.
DO NOT force holes into the logs. Install using the holes and pins located in each log.

WARNING
Apply loose material (glowing wool) per instruction manual. DO NOT apply extra material
not supplied with this kit. All previously applied loose material (glowing wool) must be
removed prior to reapplication. Do not cover the burner’s upper rectangular ports with
loose material (glowing wool). Do not apply all the glowing wool supplied with this kit.
Refer to the gure 4 to see how much glowing wool should be apply.

STEP 1: Lift the tabs 6, 7 and 8 located on the burner cover as shown in figure 2.
STEP 2: Put the log A on the pins 1 and 2 located on the burner.

STEP 3: Put the log B on the pin 3 located on the burner and on the pin on top of log A.
STEP 4: Put the log C on the pin on top of log B and on the left side of the pilot.

STEP 5: Put the log D on the pins 4 and 5 located on the log support.

STEP 6: Put the log E on tab 6 located on the burner cover.

STEP 7: Put the log G on the pin on the top right of log D and on tab 8 located on the burner cover.

STEP 8: Put the log F on the pin on the top left of log D and on tab 7 located on the burner cover.
STEP 9: This completes the log set installation. Display the glowing wool in the designated
areas as shown in figure 3 all around the circular ports. Use pieces not bigger that a 10 cent
coin. Display the lava rocks in the designated areas as shown on figure 4. Reinstall the glass
door and
Invisimesh barrier as indicated in the fireplace manual.
