When the indication “power” is lit, it means that the power supply is correct. The Video indicator will flash when the
source signal is copy protected, the video indicator will lit if video signal is present.

 All connections must be performed by using good quality leads.
 Installation must be done according to local regulations and standards. If any
doubt, consult a licensed technician.
 An adaptor jack allows hook-up of a suitable 9VDC / 100mA wall adaptor.
Make sure the input voltage matches your domestic AC voltage. Mind the
polarity!
 Warning : Only use to make personal backup copies from original video
material from which you are the rightful owner. Check the copyright
information.
 S-video and composite video signals can not be mixed.
 Respect the video IN and OUTPUT.

All repairs should be executed by qualified technicians.
Avoid the installation of the module in locations with standing or running water or excessive humidity. Indoor use only !
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
 Do not attempt to disassemble the unit as it does not contain any parts that are to be serviced by the user. (Tampering voids warranty)
 Handle the module gently and carefully. Dropping it can damage the circuit board and case.
 Never exceed the protection limit values indicated in the specifications.
 As safety requirement vary, please check with your local authorities.
 No objects or liquids should be allowed to penetrate the housing.
 Make sure that the ventilation slots are not blocked.
 Disconnect the module from the AC power before connecting new devices.
 Wipe the device with a dry and clean cloth. Do not use detergents or other liquids that may damage the housing.
 Keep the device away from children.
 Facilitate the operation of the device by familiarising yourself with its adjustments and indications.
 Velleman modules are not suitable for use or as part of life support systems, or systems that might create hazardous situations of kind.

Bij het aansluiten van de adapter zal de spanningsindicator oplichten als de voedingsspanning correct is. De
videosignaalindicator zal knipperen wanneer het bronsignaal beschermd is tegen het kopiëren, en zal oplichten zolang het
videosignaal aanwezig is.
Aansluiting

 Gebruik aansluitsnoeren van goede kwaliteit voor het aansluiten.
 Voer de aansluiting uit volgens de regels van goed vakmanschap. Bij twijfel,
raadpleeg een vakman.
 Sluit een geschikte 9 VDC/100ma netadapter aan op de voorziene aansluit-
ing. Let op de polariteit!
 Waarschuwing : Gebruik enkel de module om persoonlijke reserve kopëën
te maken van originele video‘s van waar U de rechthebbende eigenaar van
bent. Controleer ook de copyrechten van de originele stukken.
 S-video en composiet video signalen kunnen niet gemengd worden.
 Respecteer de aansluitvolgorde van de Video ingang en uitgang.

Veiligheidsaanwijzingen en waarschuwingen
Reparaties mogen uitsluitend uitgevoerd worden door vakkundige personen.
Installeer de module niet op plaatsen met staand of stromend water of in ruimtes met een te hoge vochtigheidsgraad.
Binnengebruik enkel!
VEILIGHEIDSAANWIJZINGEN
 Probeer het apparaat niet te demonteren : dit is ook niet nodig omdat het apparaat geen enkel onderdeel bevat dat door de gebruiker moet worden
onderhouden. Door modifiëring vervalt de garantie.
 Vermijd een ruwe behandeling. Stoten of laten vallen kunnen ernstige schade aanbrengen.
 Overschrijdt nooit de opgegeven veiligheidswaarden in de specificaties.
 Vermits de veiligheid vereisten verschillen van plaats tot plaats, dient U ervoor te zorgen dat Uw montage voldoet aan de plaatselijke geldende vereisten.
 Let op dat er geen voorwerpen of vloeistoffen in het toestel dringen.
 Zorg ervoor dat de lucht ongehinderd door de ventilatiegleuven van het toestel kan stromen.
 Zorg ervoor dat de netspanning altijd uitgeschakeld is bij het aansluiten van nieuwe toestellen.
 Reinig het toestel met een droge doek. Vermijd gebruik van reinigingsmiddelen daar deze de behuizing kunnen beschadigen.
 Houdt vooral kinderen uit de buurt van het toestel dit ter veiligheid van hun zelf.
 Zorgt ervoor dat u met alle bedieningselementen vertrouwd raakt, wanneer U met het toestel zal werken.
 Velleman modules zijn niet geschikt voor gebruik in of als gedeelte van systemen welke levensfuncties in stand houden of systemen welke
gevaarlijke situaties van gelijk welke aard kunnen veroorzaken.
WAARSCHUWING
Herstelling onder garantie is enkel mogelijk met aankoopbewijs.

Lorque vous branchez l'adaptateur, l'indicateur de tension s'allumera si vous utilisez la tension d'alimentation correcte.
L'indicateur de signal vidéo clignotera quand le signal de source est protégé contre le copiage et restera allumé tant
que le signal vidéo reste présent.
Raccordement

 Utilisez des fils de qualité pour le raccordement.
 Effectuez le montage et le raccordement suivant les règles du métier. En cas
de doute, consultez un spécialiste!
 Branchez un adaptateur réseau 9Vcc/100mA à la connexion prévue.
Respectez la polarité!
 Attention : Ne faites que des copies pour usage personnel de matériel vidéo
original dont vous êtes le propriétaire (DVD, VHS, VCD,...). Contrô-
lez l'information concernant les droits d'auteur dans le matériel original.
 Des signaux S-vidéo et des signaux vidéo composites ne se laissent pas
mélanger.
 Espectez l'ordre de connexion de l'entrée et la sortie.

Évitez l’installation de ce module à proximité d’eau courante ou dormante ou à une endroit avec un taux d’humidité trop
élevé.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
 N’essayez pas de démontez l’appareil : ce serait même inutile comme l’appareil ne dois pas être maintenu par l’utilisateur.
 Evitez les manipulations brutales. Un chute pourrait endommager le boîtier ou les plaque et pourrait causer des défauts.
 Ne jamais excéder les valeurs limites de protection indiquées dans les spécifications.

Videosignalanzeige leuchtet wenn das Quellensignal vor Kopieren geschützt ist, und leuchtet solange das Videosignal
vorhanden ist.
