When the indication “power” is lit, it means that the power supply is correct. The Video indicator will flash when the
source signal is copy protected, the video indicator will lit if video signal is present.

 All connections must be performed by using good quality leads.
 Installation must be done according to local regulations and standards. If any
doubt, consult a licensed technician.
 An adaptor jack allows hook-up of a suitable 9VDC / 100mA wall adaptor.
Make sure the input voltage matches your domestic AC voltage. Mind the
polarity!
 Warning : Only use to make personal backup copies from original video
material from which you are the rightful owner. Check the copyright
information.
 S-video and composite video signals can not be mixed.
 Respect the video IN and OUTPUT.

All repairs should be executed by qualified technicians.
Avoid the installation of the module in locations with standing or running water or excessive humidity. Indoor use only !
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
 Do not attempt to disassemble the unit as it does not contain any parts that are to be serviced by the user. (Tampering voids warranty)
 Handle the module gently and carefully. Dropping it can damage the circuit board and case.
 Never exceed the protection limit values indicated in the specifications.
 As safety requirement vary, please check with your local authorities.
 No objects or liquids should be allowed to penetrate the housing.
 Make sure that the ventilation slots are not blocked.
 Disconnect the module from the AC power before connecting new devices.
 Wipe the device with a dry and clean cloth. Do not use detergents or other liquids that may damage the housing.
 Keep the device away from children.
 Facilitate the operation of the device by familiarising yourself with its adjustments and indications.
 Velleman modules are not suitable for use or as part of life support systems, or systems that might create hazardous situations of kind.

Bij het aansluiten van de adapter zal de spanningsindicator oplichten als de voedingsspanning correct is. De
videosignaalindicator zal knipperen wanneer het bronsignaal beschermd is tegen het kopiëren, en zal oplichten zolang het
videosignaal aanwezig is.
Aansluiting

 Gebruik aansluitsnoeren van goede kwaliteit voor het aansluiten.
 Voer de aansluiting uit volgens de regels van goed vakmanschap. Bij twijfel,
raadpleeg een vakman.
 Sluit een geschikte 9 VDC/100ma netadapter aan op de voorziene aansluit-
ing. Let op de polariteit!
 Waarschuwing : Gebruik enkel de module om persoonlijke reserve kopëën
te maken van originele video‘s van waar U de rechthebbende eigenaar van
bent. Controleer ook de copyrechten van de originele stukken.
 S-video en composiet video signalen kunnen niet gemengd worden.
 Respecteer de aansluitvolgorde van de Video ingang en uitgang.
