using this appliance.
Indoor use only.
Power supply polarisation.
•This device can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
the use of the device in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with the device.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
•This product is exclusively intended for the field of
application described in this manual. This product should
only be used as described within these instructions.
•Do not expose the appliance to extreme temperatures,
vibration or shock.

3. General Guidelines
•Refer to the Velleman®Service and Quality Warranty on the
last pages of this manual.
•All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety
reasons. Damage caused by user modifications to the device
is not covered by the warranty.
•Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the
device in an unauthorised way will void the warranty.
•Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this
manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer will
not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or
problems.

any damage (extraordinary, incidental or indirect) –of any

4. Installation
Installation
Install the clock in a dry and shady spot, away from direct
sunlight or rain.
Powering the Clock
For best results, connect the clock to a powered USB port using
the included USB cable, or connect to the mains using a suitable
power adapter (not included).
The clock can also be powered using three AAA batteries. Open
the battery compartment of the weather station. Insert the
battery observing the correct polarity and re-insert the battery
door.
Do not use battery power and USB/adapter power
simultaneously.
The clock requires one LR44 battery as back-up power in case of
power interruption. The battery compartment for the LR44 is
located inside the battery compartment for the AAA batteries.
Make sure to remove the plastic strip before use.

5. Settings
At normal display, briefly press SET to display the different
modes. Selecting sequence:
time →date →alarm 1 →alarm 2 →alarm 3 →time
Setting the Time
1. Press and hold SET. The digits will flash. Set the 12h or
24h time format with UP or DOWN.
2. Press SET again. The digits will flash. Set the hour with UP
or DOWN.
3. Press SET again. The digits will flash. Set the minutes with
UP or DOWN.
4. Press SET again to confirm and to return to normal mode.
Setting the Date
1. Briefly press SET to display the date. Press and hold SET.
The digits will flash. Set the year with UP or DOWN.
2. Press SET again. The digits will flash. Set the month with
UP or DOWN.
3. Press SET again. The digits will flash. Set the date with UP
or DOWN.
4. Press SET again to confirm and to return to normal mode.
Setting the Alarm
1. Briefly press SET until alarm 1 (A1), 2 (A2) or 3 (A3) is
displayed. Press and hold SET. The digits will flash. Set the
hour with UP or DOWN.
2. Press SET again. The digits will flash. Set the minutes with
UP or DOWN.
3. Press SET again to confirm and to return to normal mode.
Follow the steps above to set the desired alarms.
Selecting the Display Mode
At normal display, briefly press UP until display mode 1 (dp-1), 2
(dp-2) or 3 (dp-3) is displayed. Simply release to select the
display mode.
dp-1: alternate time/date display
dp-2: fixed time display
dp-3: fixed time display + mode display for 15 seconds

Energy-Saving Function
1. At normal display, briefly press DOWN until the energy-
saving mode (Sd) is displayed.
2. Briefly press DOWN again to activate (oNSd) or deactivate
(--Sd) the energy-saving mode.
Once the energy-saving mode activated, the display will
automatically switch off after 30 seconds. To reactivate the
display, just tap the clock.
Selecting the Temperature Unit
1. At normal display, select display mode 2 or 3 (see above).
2. Press and hold DOWN to select °C or °F.
6. Care and Maintenance
Cleaning
•Before starting any cleaning or maintenance activities,
unplug the appliance from its power source.
•Wipe all exterior surfaces of the appliance clean with a soft
cloth dampened with a soap and water solution. Do not
immerse or submerge any part of the appliance in water or
any other liquid. Never use solvents or cleaning agents
containing petroleum (petrol, kerosene, oil), paint thinner,
turpentine, alcohol, or ammonia.
Maintenance
•This appliance does not need any maintenance. Do not open
exterior casing of the appliance. There are no user-
serviceable parts inside. Opening or visible attempts to open
or repair the appliance may void any guarantee and/or
cause damage to the product or personal injury.
Storage
•Store the appliance and its accessories in its original
package in a clean and dry area.

1. Inleiding

3. Algemene richtlijnen
•Raadpleeg de Velleman® service- en kwaliteitsgarantie
achteraan deze handleiding.
•Om veiligheidsredenen mag u geen wijzigingen aanbrengen.
Schade door wijzigingen die de gebruiker heeft aangebracht
aan het toestel valt niet onder de garantie.
•Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het gemaakt is. De
garantie vervalt automatisch bij ongeoorloofd gebruik.
•De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren van
bepaalde richtlijnen in deze handleiding en uw dealer zal de
verantwoordelijkheid afwijzen voor defecten of problemen
die hier rechtstreeks verband mee houden.
•Noch Velleman nv noch zijn verdelers kunnen aansprakelijk
gesteld worden voor schade (buitengewoon, incidenteel of
onrechtstreeks) –van welke aard dan ook (financieel,

4. Installatie
Installatie
Installeer de klok in een droge en schaduwrijke plaats, buiten het
bereik van direct zonlicht of regen.
De klok inschakelen
Sluit de klok aan op een actieve USB-poort met de meegeleverde
USB-kabel of op een stopcontact (niet meegeleverd).
De klok werkt ook met drie AAA-batterijen. Open het batterijvak.
Plaats de batterijen met de juiste polariteit en sluit het
batterijvak.
Gebruik de beide stroombronnen (batterij en USB) nooit tegelijk.
In het geval van een stroomonderbreking werkt de klok met een
LR44-batterij (reservebatterij). Het batterijvak voor de LR44-
batterij bevindt zich in het batterijvak van de AAA-batterijen.
Verwijder het plastic lipje voor het eerste gebruik.

5. Instellingen
In normale weergavemodus, druk kort op SET om de
verschillende modi weer te geven. De volgorde selecteren:
tijd →datum →alarm 1 →alarm 2 →alarm 3 →tijd
De tijd instellen
1. Houd SET ingedrukt. De cijfers knipperen. Selecteer het
12- of 24-uursformaat met UP of DOWN.
2. Druk nogmaals op SET. De cijfers knipperen. Stel het uur
in met UP of DOWN.
3. Druk nogmaals op SET. De cijfers knipperen. Stel de
minuten in met UP of DOWN.
4. Druk nogmaals op SET om te bevestigen en om terug te
keren naar de normale weergavemodus.
De datum instellen
1. Druk kort op SET om de datum weer te geven. Houd SET
ingedrukt. De cijfers knipperen Stel het jaar in met UP of
DOWN.
2. Druk nogmaals op SET. De cijfers knipperen. Stel de
maand in met UP of DOWN.
3. Druk nogmaals op SET. De cijfers knipperen. Stel de datum
in met UP of DOWN.
4. Druk nogmaals op SET om te bevestigen en om terug te
keren naar de normale weergavemodus.
Alarm instellen
1. Druk kort op SET tot Alarm 1 (A1), 2 (A2) of 3 (A3) wordt
weergegeven. Houd SET ingedrukt. De cijfers knipperen.
Stel het uur in met UP of DOWN.
2. Druk nogmaals op SET. De cijfers knipperen. Stel de
minuten in met UP of DOWN.
3. Druk nogmaals op SET om te bevestigen en om terug te
keren naar de normale weergavemodus. Volg de
bovenstaande stappen om de gewenste alarmen te
selecteren.
De weergavemodus selecteren
In normale weergavemodus, druk kort op UP tot weergavemodus
1 (dp-1), 2 (dp-2) of 3 (dp-3) wordt weergegeven. Laat los om
de weergavemodus te selecteren.
dp-1: Weergave tijd/datum
dp-2: Weergave tijd
dp-3: Weergave tijd + druk op SET om de datum gedurende 15
seconden weer te geven.

Energiebesparende functie
1. In normale weergavemodus, druk kort op DOWN tot de
energiebesparende modus (Sd) wordt weergegeven.
2. Druk nogmaals kort op DOWN om de energiebesparende
modus in te schakelen (oNSd) of uit te schakelen (--Sd).
Wanneer de energiebesparende modus is ingeschakeld,
wordt het scherm na 30 seconden uitgeschakeld. Om het
scherm opnieuw in te schakelen, tik gewoon op de klok.
De temperatuureenheid selecteren
1. In normale weergavemodus, selecteer weergavemodus 2 of
3 (zie boven).
2. Houd DOWN ingedrukt om °C of °F te selecteren.
6. Reiniging en onderhoud
Reiniging
•Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact voor elke reiniging of
onderhoud.
•Reinig de behuizing met een zachte doek die licht
bevochtigd is met een milde zeepoplossing. Dompel het
toestel nooit onder in water of andere vloeistoffen. Gebruik
nooit oplosmiddelen of reinigingsmiddelen die petroleum
(benzine, kerosine, olie), verfverdunner, wasbenzine,
alcohol of ammoniak bevatten.
Onderhoud
•Het toestel heeft geen speciaal onderhoud nodig. Open nooit
de behuizing van het toestel. De gebruiker mag geen
onderdelen vervangen. Het openen of zichtbare pogingen tot
het openen of het repareren van het toestel kan leiden tot
het vervallen van de garantie en/of schade aan het toestel
of letsels.
Opslag
•Bewaar het toestel en de accessoires in de originele
verpakking en op een propere en droge plaats.

4. Installation
Installation
Installer l'appareil dans un endroit sec et ombragé. Ne pas
l'exposer au soleil ou à la pluie.
Allumer l'horloge
Pour les meilleurs résultats, connecter l'horloge avec le câble
USB (incl.) à un port USB alimenté ou connecter au réseau avec
un adaptateur réseau approprié (non inclus).
L'horloge fonctionne également avec trois piles AAA. Ouvrir le
compartiment à piles. Insérer les piles et refermer le
compartiment des piles. Respecter la polarité.
Ne pas utiliser les deux sources d'alimentation (piles et USB)
simultanément.

L'horloge fonctionne avec une pile LR44 comme pile de secours
en cas de panne de courant. Le compartiment à piles pour la
LR44 se trouve à l'intérieur du compartiment à piles pour les
piles AAA. Avant la première utilisation, retirer la languette en
plastique.
5. Paramétrage
En mode d'affichage normal, appuyer brièvement sur SET pour
afficher les différents modes. Sélectionner la séquence :
heure →date →alarme 1 →alarme 2 →alarme 3 →heure
Régler l'heure
1. Maintenir enfoncé SET. L'affichage clignote. Sélectionner le
format d'affichage (12 h ou 24 h) avec UP ou DOWN.
2. Appuyer à nouveau sur SET. L'affichage clignote. Régler
l'heure avec UP ou DOWN.
3. Appuyer à nouveau sur SET. L'affichage clignote. Régler les
minutes avec UP ou DOWN.
4. Appuyer à nouveau sur SET pour confirmer et pour revenir
au mode d'affichage normal.
Régler la date
1. Appuyer brièvement sur SET pour afficher la date.
Maintenir enfoncé SET. L'affichage clignote. Régler l'année
avec UP ou DOWN.
2. Appuyer à nouveau sur SET. L'affichage clignote. Régler le
mois avec UP ou DOWN.
3. Appuyer à nouveau sur SET. L'affichage clignote. Régler la
date avec UP ou DOWN.
4. Appuyer à nouveau sur SET pour confirmer et pour revenir
au mode d'affichage normal.
Régler l'alarme
1. Appuyer brièvement sur SET jusqu'à ce qu'alarme 1 (A1), 2
(A2) ou 3 (A3) s'affiche. Maintenir enfoncé SET. L'affichage
clignote. Régler l'heure avec UP ou DOWN.
2. Appuyer à nouveau sur SET. L'affichage clignote. Régler les
minutes avec UP ou DOWN.
3. Appuyer à nouveau sur SET pour confirmer et pour revenir
au mode d'affichage normal. Suivre les étapes ci-dessus
pour sélectionner les alarmes souhaitées.

Sélectionner le mode d'affichage
En mode d'affichage normal, appuyer brièvement sur UP jusqu'à
ce que mode d'affichage 1 (dp-1), 2 (dp-2) ou 3 (dp-3) s'affiche.
Relâcher pour sélectionner le mode d'affichage.
dp-1: affichage de l'heure/la date
dp-2: affichage de l'heure
dp-3: affichage de l'heure + appuyer sur SET pour afficher la
date pendant 15 secondes.
Fonction d'économie d'énergie
1. En mode d'affichage normal, appuyer brièvement sur
DOWN jusqu'à ce que le mode d'économie d'énergie (Sd)
s'affiche.
2. Appuyer brièvement sur DOWN pour activer (oNSd) ou
désactiver (--Sd) le mode d'économie d'énergie.
Lorsque le mode économie d'énergie est activé, l'écran
s'éteint automatiquement après 30 secondes. Pour
réactiver l'affichage, appuyer sur l'horloge.
Sélectionner l'unité de température
1. En mode d'affichage normal, sélectionner le mode
d'affichage 2 ou 3 (voir ci-dessus).
2. Maintenir enfoncé DOWN pour sélectionner °C ou °F.
6. Entretien
Nettoyage
•Débrancher l'appareil avant chaque nettoyage ou entretien.
•Nettoyer le boîtier de l'appareil avec un chiffon doux
imprégné d'un détergent doux. Ne jamais immerger
l'appareil dans l'eau ou tout autre liquide. Ne jamais utiliser
de solvants ou de détergents contenant du pétrole (essence,
kérosène, huile), diluant, térébenthine, alcool ou
ammoniaque.
Entretien
•Cet appareil ne nécessite aucun entretien particulier. Ne
jamais ouvrir le boîtier de l'appareil. L'appareil ne contient
aucune pièce réparable par l'utilisateur. L'ouverture ou des
tentatives visibles d'ouverture ou de réparation pourraient
annuler toutes les garanties ou endommager l'appareil ou
provoquer des blessures corporelles.
Stockage
•Ranger l'appareil et ses accessoires dans son emballage
d'origine et dans un endroit propre et sec.

•Utilice sólo el aparato para las aplicaciones descritas en este
manual. Su uso incorrecto anula la garantía completamente.
•Los daños causados por descuido de las instrucciones de
seguridad de este manual invalidarán su garantía y su

4. Instalación
Instalación
Instale el aparato en un lugar seco y en sombra. No lo exponga a
luz solar ni lluvia.
Encender el reloj
Para obtener mejores resultados, conecte el reloj con el cable
USB (incl.) a un puerto USB alimentado o conéctelo a la red con
un adaptador de red adecuado (no incl.).
También funciona con tres pilas AAA. Abra el compartimiento de
pilas. Introduzca las baterías y vuelva a cerrar el compartimiento
de pilas. Controle la polaridad.
No utilice ambas fuentes de alimentación (baterías y USB)
simultáneamente.
El reloj funciona con una pila LR44 como pila de repuesto en caso
de interrupción del suministro eléctrico. El compartimento para la
pila LR44 está en el interior del compartimento de las pilas AAA.
Asegúrese de quitar la lengüeta de plástico antes de la puesta en
marcha.

5. Configuración
En el modo de visualización normal, pulse SET brevemente para
visualizar los diferentes modos. Seleccionar la secuencia:
hora →fecha →alarma 1 →alarma 2 →alarma 3 →hora
Ajustar la hora
1. Mantenga pulsado SET. Los dígitos parpadearán.
Seleccione el formato de la hora (12 h o 24 h) con UP o
DOWN.
2. Vuelva a pulsar SET. Los dígitos parpadearán. Ajuste la
hora con UP o DOWN.
3. Vuelva a pulsar SET. Los dígitos parpadearán. Ajuste los
minutos con UP o DOWN.
4. Vuelva a pulsar SET para confirmar y volver al modo de
visualización normal.
Ajustar la fecha
1. Pulse SET brevemente para visualizar la fecha. Mantenga
pulsado SET. Los dígitos parpadearán. Ajuste el año con UP
o DOWN.
2. Vuelva a pulsar SET. Los dígitos parpadearán. Ajuste el
mes con UP o DOWN.
3. Vuelva a pulsar SET. Los dígitos parpadearán. Ajuste la
fecha con UP o DOWN.
4. Vuelva a pulsar SET para confirmar y volver al modo de
visualización normal.
Ajustar la alarma
1. Pulse SET brevemente para hasta que se visualice alarma 1
(A1), 2 (A2) o 3 (A3). Mantenga pulsado SET. Los dígitos
parpadearán. Ajuste la hora con UP o DOWN.
2. Vuelva a pulsar SET. Los dígitos parpadearán. Ajuste los
minutos con UP o DOWN.
3. Vuelva a pulsar SET para confirmar y volver al modo de
visualización normal. Siga los pasos mencionados
anteriormente para seleccionar las alarmas que desee.
Seleccionar el modo de visualización
En el modo de visualización normal, pulse UP brevemente hasta
que se visualice modo 1 (dp-1), 2 (dp-2) o 3 (dp-3). Suelte para
seleccionar el modo de visualización.
dp-1: visualización de la hora/fecha
dp-2: visualización de la hora
dp-3: visualización de la hora + pulse SET para visualizar la
fecha durante 15 segundos

Modo de ahorro de energía
1. En el modo de visualización normal, pulse DOWN
brevemente hasta que se visualiza el modo de ahorro de
energía (Sd).
2. Vuelva a pulsar DOWN brevemente para activar (oNSd) o
desactivar (--Sd) el modo de ahorro de energía.
Cuando el modo de ahorro de energía esté activado, la
pantalla se desactivará automáticamente después de 30
segundos. Para volver a activar la pantalla, dé un golpecito
en el reloj.
Seleccionar la unidad de temperatura
1. En el modo de visualización normal, seleccione el modo de
visualización 2 ó 3 (véase arriba).
2. Mantenga pulsado DOWN para seleccionar °C o °F.
6. Cuidado y mantenimiento
Limpieza
•Desenchufe siempre el aparato antes de realizar cualquier
operación de limpieza o de mantenimiento.
•Limpie todas las superficies exteriores de la unidad con un
paño suave con agua y jabón. No sumerja ninguna parte de
la unidad en agua o cualquier otro líquido. No utilice
disolventes o productos de limpieza que contienen petróleo
(gas, queroseno, aceite), disolvente de pintura, aguarrás,
alcohol o amoníaco.
Mantenimiento
•Este aparato no necesita mantenimiento especial. Nunca
abra el aparato. El usuario no habrá de efectuar el
mantenimiento de ninguna pieza. No intente abrir ni reparar
el aparato, ya que esto puede anular la garantía y/o podría
causar daños al producto o lesiones personales.
Almacenamiento
•Almacene el aparato y los accesorios en su embalaje original
y en un lugar limpio y seco.
