
INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Thank you for purchasing this Ventair Cooling Fan. To ensure correct function and safety, please
read all instructions before using the product and keep all instructions for future reference.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to
reduce the risk of re, electrical shock and personal injury.
1. Use this fan only as described in this manual. Other use that is not recommended may
cause re, electric shock or injury to persons. This will also void your warranty.
2. Always operate the product from a power source of the same voltage, frequency and
rating as indicated on the rating label.
3. This product is intended for household and indoor use ONLY. Do not use it outdoors or
anywhere it might be exposed to the elements.
4. Under our warranty terms, this ceiling fan must be correctly installed by a licensed
electrician. Improperly installed ceiling fans can be dangerous and expensive to repair;
it will also void your warranty.
5. Before installing the fan, make sure you have turned off the main electricity supply. Do not
turn it back on until the fan is fully installed and ready to use.
6. To protect against electric shock: do not immerse unit or cord in water or spray with
liquids;
7. Do not use this product in the immediate vicinity of water, such as bathtubs, washbowls,
swimming pools etc where the like likelihood of immersions or splashing could occur.
8. To reduce the risk of re or electric shock, do not use this fan with any solid-state
speed control device.
9. This appliance is not intended for the use of persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
10. This product is not a toy! Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with
the appliance.
11. Turn the fan OFF when not in use and before disassembling or cleaning. Fully assemble
the fan before switching on again.
12. Do not operate the fan in the presence of explosive and/or ammable fumes
13. Do not place the fan or any parts near an open ame, cooking or other heating appliance.
14. Do not operate fan with a damaged cord, or if the product malfunctions, or is dropped or
damaged in any manner.
15. Avoid contact with moving fan parts. Do not insert any body parts (e.g. nger) or object
through the grill when the fan is operating.
16. The use of attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may be hazardous. Use
only with the provided wall switch.
17. Do not operate if the fan housing is damaged.
18. Do not cover the grille, or operate in close proximity to curtains. etc. Ensure adequate
ventilation around the unit.
19. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, it’s service agent
or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
