SETTING UP THE HK-PLUS HYDROGEN GENERATOR
1. Unpack the Hydrogen generator and place it on a at, level, vibration- and shock-free surface.
Do not place the generator near a heat source. Leave at least 30cm of free space at the rear
for ventilation.
2. Connect the Hydrogen outlet port at the rear of the generator to a 1/8” tubing using a
stainless-steel or copper Swagelock connector. Connect the tubing to the application.
3. Remove the caps from the Oxygen and the Hydrogen vents.

4. Fill the water tank of the generator with distilled or deionized water. Then place the deionizer
bags (supplied) in the tank. Inspect the bags thoroughly for holes or tears, indicated by loose
deionizer beads on the outer surface. If the bags are damaged in any way, discard and replace
them with new ones. Insert the free end of the “T” fastener through the hole in the center of
the cap and then replace the cap.
5. Turn the power switch to the “ON” position.
6. Press the “Menu” button on the display; then scroll to “Pressure Adjust” and press “Select”.
Set the desired pressure. Finally return to the main menu (press “Exit” two times).
7. Press the “Start” button on the touch screen to start the generator.

8. The unit will immediately begin to build up pressure. The LCD display will show the message
“Reaching internal Pressure”, and the H2 ow bar will indicate maximum ow (fully illuminated).
9. Wait until the internal pressure is reached.
10. Once the pressure is reached, the LCD display will show the “Ready” message and the H2
ow bar will indicate no ow.
11.Press the “Open” button on the touch screen. The generator starts to provide Hydrogen to
the output port.
12.After a few minutes, the pressure should stabilize at the set pressure, unless there is a gas leak
in the external equipment or a too high Hydrogen consumption.
13. The generator is now in normal operation mode.
N.B. In the event of any faults or damage, rst notify the agent or distributor who supplied
the unit. If this is not possible, inform the manufacturer directly. Please also provide full
details of the problem, including the model and serial number. Instructions will then be
provided for the service or the return of the unit. Only if return authorization is provided by
the manufacturer as per these instruction, the device will be received and repaired.

• The ORIGINAL package MUST be kept for eventual shipments back to the factory.
• VICI DBS s.r.l. is not responsible for damages if instrument is not shipped in the original
package.
