It is the customer’s respo sibility to:
• onta t a qualified ele tri al installer.
•assure that the ele tri al installation is adequate and in onforman e with the
National Ele tri al Code, ANSI/NFPA 70-latest edition or Canadian Ele tri al
Code C22.1-1998 and C22.2 No. 0-M91 (or latest edition), and all lo al
odes and ordinan es. (115 volt, 60-Hz, 15 amp, fused, ele tri al supply is
required.) It is required that a separate ir uit serving only this applian e be
provided. This applian e is equipped with a power supply ord having a 3-
prong grounding plug. To minimize possible sho k hazard, the ord must be
plugged into a mating 3-prong, grounding-type wall re epta le. (Do not use
an extension cord.)

Anti Tip Requirements
The anti-tip boards should be fastened into position prior to moving the unit into the opening. Additional boards may
be required if wine ellar does not tou h the ba k wall of the en losure. To prevent wine ellar from tipping forward, it
must be se ured in pla e with a solid soffit or wood blo k.

Ea h wine ra k has a wood fa ing whi h an be removed. The fa ings an be stained, painted, or removed and
repla ed with alternative wood fa ings. NOTE: A s rap sample should be tested in the unit before atta hing permanent
hanges to your wine ellar fronts. Some paints and/or stains an ause undesirable odors.
Remove the wood fa ing by removing the four 1/4” (.6 m) hex head s rews lo ated on the inner edge of the wine
ra k. Remove the wood fa ing. Follow the dimensions below to ut wood fa ing out of alternative woods.

1) Remove the four mounting s rews atta hing the unit ompartment over to the abinet. (2 per side)
2) Remove the grille louver assembly to a ess the bla k safety grille.
3) Turn power off.
4) Remove the four s rews that atta h the top grille assembly to the mounting bra kets.
5) Remove the 3 s rews at the right side of the unit that atta h the safety grille to the ompartment over.
6) Choose the desired swit hing position and onne t a ording to alarm system requirements.
7) Repla e the unit ompartment over.
The home se urity system will be a tivated if temperatures in the wine ellar flu tuate outside of the set point by 5° for
and extended time period.

1. Remove exterior shipping materials prior to moving wine
ellar into home. Remove top and bottom strap
(see Figure 1).
2. Remove top ap (see Figure 1).
3. Cut arton rear approximately 1/4” (.64 m) to 1” (2.5 m)
from right orner (see figure 2) with a utility knife extended
1/4” (.6 m). Remove arton and exterior pa kaging. Save
ardboard shipping material to prote t floor surfa e when
installing wine ellar. Remove anti-tip
boards and ki kplate from rear of wine
ellar (see Figure 3).
4. Remove shipping bra kets from skid by
removing 4 bolts (2 ea h side) with a 1/2”
so ket head driver (see Figure 4)
•Tilting wine ellar is not required to
remove shipping bra kets.
5. Slip art between wine ellar and skid.
Remove wine ellar from skid. Use ex ess
pa kaging to prote t de orative trim.
Verify that leveling legs
are up (0” adjustment)
(see Figure 5).
6. To avoid floor damage,
use prote tive material.
(see Figure 6).

3. Roll wine ellar into utout to within 3” (7.6 m) of being flush with abinets. To avoid kit hen abinet damage,
pla e ardboard between abinets and wine ellar. Push ardboard ba k with wine ellar and remove ardboard
when wine ellar is in pla e.
4. Lift the wine ellar off the rollers, adjust to desired height and level wine ellar by using a 5/16” hex head wren h.
(Refer to Figure at the right)
a) To raise/lower right side rear, rotate the right side rear hex rod.
b) To raise/lower the left side rear, rotate the left
side rear hex rod.
) To raise/lower the right side front, rotate the
right side front hex rod.
d) To raise/lower the left side front, rotate the left
side front hex rod.
NNOOTTEE: DO NOT use an ele tri driving devi e.
Overtightening an ause damage.
5. Align wine ellar with sides of abinets by adjusting
leveling legs. Rotate leveling legs until firmly in
pla e against floor.
6. To se ure wine ellar, raise unit until ompartment
over is firmly seated under the soffit or anti-tip boards.
7. Open door. Control panel should be lit. Verify the position of the power on/off and showroom swit h if there is no
power to wine ellar.

SECURING THE WINE CELLAR (3 OPTIONS)
OPTION 1
If a solid soffit is 1” (2.5 m) or less above the wine ellar, anti-tip boards are not required. To se ure the wine ellar
raise unit until ompartment is firmly seated under the soffit.
OPTION 2
If a solid soffit is not available or soffit is more than 1” (2.5 m) above wine ellar, enter wood boards on rear wall 1/4”
(.6 m) maximum above wine ellar. Atta h wood boards to wall studs with six of the provided wood s rews, making
sure that s rews are engaged in wall studs 1 1/2” (3.8 m) minimum and that boards extend 2” (5.0 m) minimum over
the top rear of wine ellar ompressor over. To se ure the wine ellar, raise unit until ompartment is firmly seated
under the anti-tip board.
OPTION 3
Position the wood blo k over the unit and se ure it to wall studs using eight of the provided wood s rews and “L”
bra kets. Make sure s rews extend a minimum of 1” (2.5 m) into ea h of the two wall studs. The wood blo k must
extend a minimum of 3” (7.6 m) over the unit. To se ure the wine ellar, raise unit until ompartment is firmly seated
under the anti-tip boards.

KICKPLATE INSTALLATION
The ki kplate onsists of a two (2) part assembly: one top louvered panel and one bottom solid panel. Install the
ki kplate with louvered se tion on the top. Flooring must allow the ki kplate to be removed. See “Site Preparations”
for height learan e (pages 5 and 6).
To install:
1. Insert the bottom (solid) panel into the open end of the top (louvered) panel. The holes in the bottom panel should
line up with the slots in the top panel.
2. Position the ki kplate assembly along the front edge of the wine ellar.
3. Align the holes on both ends of the top (louvered ) panel with the holes in the base of the wine ellar.
4. Atta h the ki kplate to the wine ellar on ea h side with the two bla k phillips head s rews provided.
5. Adjust the bottom (solid) panel to the desired height and fasten in pla e by tightening the s rews in the slots.
There is approximately 1” (2.5 m) of verti al adjustment on the ki kplate.

DOOR STOP ADJUSTMENT
1. Using a 3/16” allen wren h, remove door stop pin
lo ated in bottom hinge.
2. The pin is fa tory set 110°. For 120° swing, move the
pin to the utmost forward stop hole. For 90° swing,
move the pin to the utmost rear stop hole.
HINGE ADJUSTMENT
1. Using a 3/16” allen wren h, remove the door stop pin
lo ated in bottom hinge.
2. Using the height adjustment shim as a wren hing
devi e, rotate the height adjustment bushing
ounter lo kwise to raise or lo kwise to lower the
lo ation of the door.
3. When proper adjustment is rea hed, align shim with
door stop pin holes and repla e door stop pin.
Firmly tighten pin in pla e.
