DISPOSAL OF APPLIANCES
Before disposing any appliance, please remove any plugs and cut the power leads to ensure that the
appliance is inoperative.
Remove the door but leave the shelves in place to prevent children climbing inside.
Dispose of your wine cellar packaging properly. Ensure that any plastic wrappings, bags etc. are disposed
of safely and kept out of the reach of babies and young children. Danger of suffocation!
This symbol indicates that it must not be discarded as general household waste.
Instead, it should be handed over to the applicable collection point for the recycling of
electrical and electronic equipment. Disposal must be carried out in accordance with local
environmental regulations for waste disposal.
By disposing of this product correctly you will help prevent potential negative consequences for the
environment and human health, which would otherwise be caused by inappropriate waste handling of
this product.
Refrigeration equipment must be properly disposed of in a professional and appropriate way, in
accordance with the current local regulations and laws which protects the environment this applies to
your old Wine Cellar and to your new Wine Cellar once it has reached the end of its service life.
Warning: When disposing of old appliance, make sure that the pipe work does not damage.
BEFORE INSTALLING AND USING YOUR NEW APPLIANCE
Warning: Before powering up the appliance, please open the door for 5 minutes to ventilate the cabinet.
Read through the instruction manual supplied with the appliance – failure to install or use this appliance
in accordance with the instruction manual may invalidate any warranty.
The manufacturer does not accept any liability for damage caused through improper use or incorrect
installation.
Do not install this appliance if it has been damaged during transportation. This includes the plug and
power cord.
Please keep this instruction manual in a safe place for future reference.
Note: This appliance is intended to be used exclusively for the storage of wine only.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using an electrical Wine Cellar, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of
fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:
•To prevent damage to the door and door gasket, make sure the door is fully opened before pulling
out any shelves.
•Do not move the wine cellar when it is loaded with wine, you might distort the appliance.
•If the power lead becomes damaged it should only be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualified
person.
•Never allow children to operate, play with, or crawl inside the appliance.
•Never clean appliance parts with flammable fluids.
•Do not store or use gasoline or any other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this or any
other appliance. This will cause a fire hazard or explosion.

•Warning: Do not allow the refrigerant circuit to become damaged while using or installing the
appliance. Should it become damaged, do not use the appliance until you are instructed to do so by
service engineer. Refrigerant can ignite or cause damage to the eye when leakage.
•Always remember to unplug the appliance before cleaning. When disconnecting from the electricity
supply, pull the plug, not the power cord.
•Do not use anything electrical inside the wine cellar.
•All electrical repairs must be carried out by a qualified service engineer. Inadequate repairs may result
in a major source of danger for the user and invalidate any warranty.
•Never store anything dangerous inside the appliance, such as combustibles, explosives, strong acid, or
alkali etc.
•Always keep any ventilation openings clear of obstruction. Should they become blocked, clear them
straight away.
•Make sure that the plug is in an accessible place when installation is complete.
•Only use this appliance for domestic purposes in accordance with these instructions.
•Do not connect or disconnect the electric plug when your hands are wet.
•The wine cellar is suitable for storing wine only. It is not suitable for storing fresh or frozen foods.
To avoid contamination of wine, please respect the following instructions:
•Opening the door for long periods can cause a significant increase of the temperature in the
compartments of the appliance.
•Clean the surfaces that have contact with bottles regularly.
•If the refrigerating appliance is left empty for long periods, switch off, defrost, clean, dry, and leave the
door open to prevent mold developing within the appliance.
•If the refrigerant of these appliances is R600a, flammable and explosive articles should not be put in or
near the cabinet, to avoid the fire or explode caused.
Warning:
•This appliance cannot be used by children aged from 8 years and below
and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge if they have not been given supervision or
not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children without supervision.
•Children are not allowed to load and unload wine cellar.

INSTALLATION OF YOUR WINE CELLAR
Before Using Your Wine Cellar
•Remove the exterior and interior packing.
•Before connecting the wine cellar to the power source, let it stand upright for approximately 2
hours. This will reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling system from handling during
transportation.
•Check that the voltage marked on the product corresponds with your supply voltage.
•Clean the interior surface with lukewarm water using a soft cloth.
•When replace the illuminating lamp, please contact local service provider for replacement.
•When disposing your appliance, please choose an authorized disposal site.
Installation of Your Wine Cellar
•Place your wine cellar on a floor that is strong enough to support it when it is fully loaded. To level
your wine cellar, adjust the front leveling leg at the bottom of the Wine cellar.
•Locate the wine cellar away from direct sunlight and sources of heat (stove, heater, radiator, etc.).
Direct sunlight may affect the acrylic coating and heat sources may increase electrical
consumption. Extreme cold ambient temperatures may also cause the unit not to perform
properly.
•Avoid locating the unit in moist areas.
•Plug the wine cellar into an exclusive, properly installed-grounded wall outlet. Do not under any
circumstances cut or remove the third (ground) prong from the power cord. Any questions
concerning power and/or grounding should be directed toward a certified electrician or an
authorized service center.
•Important : If the lowest temperature is set during periods of high humidity and ambient
temperature , condensation may appear on outside surfaces and the door of wine cellar, this is a
normal phenomenon.
ATTENTION:
This wine cellar has been designed for freestanding or built-under installation. In every case, there must
be adequate ventilation and access for service.
FREESTANDING INSTALLATION:
Freestanding installation will allow you to install the wine cellar in almost any indoor place you desired.
You must follow the stated instructions for electrical requirements , recommended install area and
leveling of the wine cellar.

When installing the wine cellar under a counter, follow the recommended spacing dimensions shown .

OPERATING YOUR WINE CELLAR
CONTROL PANEL
FOR VZ23SSUG
The temperature setting can be adjusted from 5°C to 18°C.
•
To control the appliance turn on/off.
•
The wine cellar has two levels of light can be selected (Dimmer / Bright).
At light OFF position, press once for dimmer light, press again for bright light.
To reduce energy consumption, the wine cellar will automatically switch off the internal light after 10
minutes. If you want the internal light to remain on continuously. Press and hold this button for 5
seconds until display show “LP”. To revert to normal mode. Press and hold this button for 5
seconds until display show “LF”.
•
Used to raise(warm) the temperature in 1°C.
The screen is set to display the actual temperature, press + or – button to display the set temperature.
•
Used to lower(cool) the temperature in 1°C.
The screen is set to display the actual temperature, press + or – button to display the set temperature.
•
To show the set temperature / actual temperature of the wine cellar.

VZ43SDUG:
Upper Zone: The temperature setting can be adjusted from 5°C to 12°C.
Lower Zone: The temperature setting can be adjusted from 12°C to 18°C.
VZ110SDUG/VZ140SDUG:
Both temperature zone setting can be adjusted from 5°C to 18°C.
•

OTHER FUNCTIONS
To switch between °C and °F
You can select temperature display setting from Fahrenheit to Celsius degree by pushing the UP(+)
and DOWN(-) button on either upper or lower zone at the same time for 3 seconds.
Attention
If the unit is unplugged, power lost, or turned off, you must wait 3 to 5 minutes before restart the
unit.
If you need attempt to restart before this time delay, the wine cellar will not start.
For first time use or longer absence of using, the temperature will difference between setting and
LED display temperature. After running a certain period, the temperature will be reverted.
Temperature Memory Function
If the power is suddenly lost, the set temperature will be saved by the unit.
Once the power is back on, the unit will be at the same actual temperature.
Temperature Alarm Function
If the interior temperature is higher than 23°C (73°F), “HI” is shown on the display panel and the
buzzer alarm sounds continuously after one hour. This indicates that the inner temperature is too
high, please look for the reason. If the inner temperature is lower than 0°C (32°F), “LO” is shown on
the display panel; the alarm and the malfunction indicator light turn on at the same time.
Door Lock
Your unit is provided with a lock and key combination.
The keys are located inside the plastic bag that contains the instruction manual. Insert the key into
the lock and turn it counterclockwise to unlock the door. To lock the door, do the reverse operation
making sure metal pin is engaged completely. Remove the key and place it in a secure place for
safekeeping.
Note: During periods of high humidity, condensation may appear on outside surfaces of the
appliances.
This condensation will disappear once humidity levels drop. To prevent, it is recommended to install
the appliance with sufficient ventilation in a dry and/or an air-conditioned room. Please ensure that
doors are closing and sealing properly.
To remove the shelves:
•To prevent damaging the door gasket, make sure to have the door all the way opened when
pulling shelves out of the rail compartment.
•To Remove Shelves:
1. Fully extend the shelf you wish to remove (Fig. A)
2. Pull the shelf towards you until the buckle is released. (Fig. B)
3. Holding the shelf track with both hands, push the shelf up horizontally (Fig. C)

REVERSE THE DOOR
This appliance has the capability of the door opening from either the left or right side. The unit is preset
with the door opening from the left side. Should you desire to reverse the opening direction, please
contact local service provider, and follow below instructions.
Open the door, remove the two screws in the bottom hinge and lift out the door.
Move the plastic caps and metal nameplate on top of the door and rotate the door 180 degrees.
Plastic caps and metal nameplate can be placed on the top after the door is reversed.
Remove the door shaft from the right upper hinge then install and tighten the left upper hinge from the
plastic bag that includes the instruction manual.
Remove the right lower hinge supporter with the adjusting washer. Install the left lower hinge supporter
from the plastic bag that includes the instruction manual. Make sure to put the adjusting washers at the
designated position. Mount the door and screws again.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
Clean your wine cellar
Turn off the power, unplug the appliance, and remove all items including shelves.
Wash the inside surfaces with a warm water and diluted mild detergent.
Wash the shelves with a diluted mild detergent.
Wring excess water out of the sponge or cloth when cleaning area of the controls, or any electrical
parts.
Wash the outside cabinet with warm water and diluted mild liquid detergent.
Rinse well and wipe dry with a clean, soft cloth.
Power failure
Most power failures are corrected within a few hours and should not affect the temperature of your
appliance if you minimize the number of times the door is opened. If the power is going to be off for
a long period of time, you need to take the proper steps to protect your contents.
Vacation Time
Leave the wine cellar operating during vacations of less than three weeks.
If the appliance will not be used for more than three months, remove all items and turn off the
appliance. Clean and dry the interior thoroughly. To prevent odor and mold growth, leave the door
open slightly, blocking it open if necessary.
Make sure there will be no children and animals climb into the appliance.
Moving your wine cellar
Remove all items.
Take out the loose items inside the wine cellar (such as shelf) or fix the loose items with the foam.
Turn the adjustable leg up to the base to avoid damage.
Tape the door shut.
Be sure the appliance stays secure in the upright position during transportation. Also protect outside
of appliance with a blanket or similar item.
Energy saving tips
The wine cellar should be located in the coolest area of the room, away from heat producing
appliances, and out of the direct sunlight.
Set temperature according to the characteristics of your wine to maximize energy saving.
Cold catalyst air filter
The cold catalyst air filter is located in the back of compartment.
Replace it with a new one once a year with properly use.
It can be purchased from your dealer or from the Spare Parts Department.
Remove the shelf in front of the filter.
Grip the filter and turn it 90°clockwise or anti-clockwise to remove.
Insert the new filter in the vertical position and turn it 90° clockwise or anti-clockwise until it
clicks into position.

Too much noise
The rattling noise may come from the flow of the
refrigerant, which is normal.
As each cycle ends, you may hear gurgling.
Contraction and expansion of the inside walls may
cause popping and crackling noises.
The wine cellar is not level.
The door will not close properly
The wine cellar is not level.
The door was reversed and not properly installed.
The gasket is dirty.
The shelves are out of position.
