The fan-heater is intended for heating of small
amenity room or its certain area.

ATTENTION!
– Portable electric fan-heaters are intended
only for additional heating of rooms, they
are not meant for operation as main heat-
ing units.
– For additional protection it is reason-
able to install a residual current device
(RCD) with nominal operation current not
exceeding 30 mA. To install an RCD con-
tact a specialist.
SAFETY MEASURES
Read this instruction manual carefully before
using the unit and keep it for the whole unit oper-
ation period. Mishandling the unit can lead to its
breakage and cause harm to the user or damage
to his/her property.
•Use the fan-heater for its intended purpose
only and in strict accordance with the instruc-
tion manual.
•Before switching the unit on for the first time,
make sure that the mains voltage corresponds
to the voltage specified on the unit body.
•To avoid fire, do not use adapters for connect-
ing the unit to the mains.
•Place the unit on a flat dry and steady surface.
•Do not place the fan-heater on a soft surface,
for example, sofa or bed.
•The distance between the front grid of the
fan-heater and highly inflammable sub-
stances, curtains or furniture etc. should be
at least 0.9 m.
•Avoid blocking the air inlet grid of the fan-
heater by any objects or room interior ele-
ments.
•Do not switch the fan-heater on in places
where aerosols or highly inflammable liquids
are used.
•Do not cover the unit during operation.
•Do not insert any foreign objects into the grids
of the fan-heater to avoid getting injuries or
damaging the unit.
•Do not use the fan-heater in a limited space,
for example, in built-in cabinets or wall niches.
•Do not use the unit outdoors.
•Do not leave the operating fan-heater unat-
tended.
•Unplug the unit if it is not being used.
•Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
•When unplugging the unit from the mains, pull
the power plug but not the cord.
•Do not touch the power plug and the unit body
with wet hands.
•Do not immerse the unit into water or other
liquids.
•Do not use the unit in bathrooms or in rooms
with high humidity.
•Do not place the unit in places, where it can
fall in a bath or other container filled with
water.
•If some water gets on the unit body, unplug
the unit before touching it, then wipe the unit
with a dry cloth.
•To avoid burns do not touch hot surfaces of
the unit and avoid exposure of open body
parts to outgoing hot air.
•Do not use the power cord for carrying the unit.
•Do not wind the power cord around the unit
body.

•Avoid contact of the power cord with hot and
sharp objects.
•Do not allow children to use the unit as
a toy.
•The unit is not intended for usage by physi-
cally or mentally disabled persons (including
children) or by persons lacking experience or
knowledge if they are not under supervision of
a person who is responsible for their safety or
if they are not instructed by this person on the
usage of the unit.
•Place the unit out of reach of children during
the operation and cooling down.
•Do not allow children to touch the unit body
and the power cord during operation.
•For children safety reasons do not leave
polyethylene bags used as packaging unat-
tended.
ATTENTION! Do not allow children to play with
polyethylene bags or packaging film. Danger of
suffocation!
•Check the power cord, the power plug and the
unit body integrity periodically.
•If foreign smell or noise appears, stop using
the unit immediately.
•Do not attempt to repair the unit. Do not disas-
semble the unit by yourself, if any malfunction
is detected or after it was dropped, unplug
the unit and apply to any authorized service
center from the contact address list given in
the warranty certificate and on the website
www.vitek.ru.
•Transport the unit in the original package only.
•For environment protection, do not discard
the unit with usual household waste after its
service life expiration; apply to a specialized
center for further recycling.
•Keep the unit out of reach of children and dis-
abled persons.
THE UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD
USAGE ONLY
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
After unit transportation or storage at low tem-
perature keep it for at least three hours at room
temperature before switching on.
– Unpack the fan-heater and remove any stick-
ers that can prevent unit operation.
– Check the unit for damages; do not use it in
case of damages.
– Make sure that the unit operating voltage cor-
responds to the voltage of your mains.
USING THE FAN-HEATER
– Place the fan-heater on a flat, dry and steady
surface so that the air grids of the fan-heater
will not be blocked by foreign objects.
– The distance between the front grid of the
fan-heater and highly inflammable materi-
als, curtains or furniture etc. should be at
least 0.9 m.
ATTENTION: Provide that no other electrical
appliances with high power consumption are
connected to the same outlet the fan-heater is
connected to.
Remote control (RC)
Installing batteries in the remote control (21)
•Press on the lock and remove the battery
holder from the remote control (21) body,
install a CR2025 battery, strictly following the
polarity.
•Install the battery holder back to its place.
Note: - if there is an isolation insert in the remote
control (21) battery compartment, remove the
insert.
•Battery replacement
•Press on the lock and remove the battery
holder from the remote control (21) body,
install a new CR2025 battery, strictly follow-
ing the polarity, and install the battery holder
back to its place.
SWITCHING THE FAN HEATER ON
– Insert the plug into the mains socket, you will
hear a sound signal and the room tempera-
ture digital indications (14) will appear on the
display (3).
Notes:
– the operation mode buttons on the control
panel (2) are sensory, you just need to touch
the button to switch the necessary operation
mode on.
– the room temperature digital indications
may be slightly different from the readings of
another thermometer.
– Switch the fan heater on by pressing the but-
ton (9) on the control panel (2) or the button
(23) on the remote control (21). The fan heater
will switch on and operate in the fan mode, the
symbol (15) will appear on the display (3).
– Touch the button (10) or press the button
(24) on the remote control (21) to select the
necessary operation power of the fan heater,
which will be shown as the symbols (16 or 17)
on the display (3):

– «symbol (16)» – low power level - 1400 W - for
small rooms;
– «symbol 17» – high power level - 2000 W - for
large rooms;
Note: - when the unit is switched on for the
first time, the heating element burns, therefore
occurrence of a small amount of smoke or for-
eign smell is possible, it is normal.
Fan heater oscillation mode
– Touch the button (11) or press the but-
ton (25) on the remote control (21) to switch
the fan heater body oscillation mode on, the
symbol (19) will appear on the display (3).
To switch the fan heater body oscillation
mode off touch/press the button (11) or (25)
again, the symbol (19) will go out.
Timer setting
– To set the switch-off timer consequently
touch/press the button (12) or (26), the sym-
bol (18) will appear on the display (3). Possible
operation time from 0.5 hours to 7.5 hours
with 0.5 hours setting step; the timer opera-
tion time is shown on the display (3) with digi-
tal indications (14).
Note: - to check the preset timer settings touch/
press the button (12) or (26) once, the timer digi-
tal symbols (14) will be flashing on the display (3),
and then the preset room temperature digital
indications (14) will be shown on the display (3).
– To switch the timer off consequently touch/
press the button (12) or (26) until the digital
symbols «0.0» appear on the display (3).
Room heating temperature setting
– To set the necessary room heating tempera-
ture consequently touch/press the button (13)
or (22), the symbol (16 or 17) and the tem-
perature digital indications (14) will appear on
the display (3). Possible room heating tem-
perature range is from 18 to 45 degrees with
a step of 1 degree; the temperature digital
indications (14) are shown on the display (3).
Note:
– after reaching the set temperature the heat-
ing element of the fan heater will be switched
off and the symbol (16) or (17) on the dis-
play (3) will go out; when the room tempera-
ture decreases, the heating element of the
fan heater will resume operation and the sym-
bols (16) or (17) will appear on the display (3).
– to check the preset temperature settings
touch/press the button (13) or (22) once, the
preset temperature digital indications (14) will
be flashing on the display (3), and then the
preset temperature digital indications (14) will
be shown on the display (3).
– To switch the fan heater off touch/press
the button (9) or (23), you will hear a sound
signal, and the flashing symbol (15) and
the switch off time of the fan heater (30
seconds) will be shown on the display (3).
After 30 seconds the symbol (15) on the
display (3) will go out, the fan heater will
be switched off and the room temperature
digital indications (14) will be shown on the
display (3).
– To switch the fan heater off completely dis-
connect the power plug from the mains
socket.
AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY SWITCH-OFF
FUNCTION
The fan-heater is equipped with automatic emer-
gency switch-off function.
•If the unit starts overheating, the automatic
thermal switch will be on and the fan-heater
will be switched off.
•Immediately unplug the fan heater; let it cool
down for approximately 20-30 minutes and
after that you can switch the unit on again.
•Make sure that the rear (6) and the front (1)
grids are not blocked and nothing hinders
air flow.
•Plug the fan-heater in and switch it on; if the
unit doesn’t switch on, it may indicate other
damages not connected with the automatic
emergency switch-off function. In this case
apply to the authorized service center for the
fan-heater repair.
Attention: to avoid burns do not touch hot sur-
faces of the unit and avoid contact of open body
parts with outgoing hot air.
PROTECTION FROM DROPPING
– If the fan-heater is accidentally dropped, the
blocking device will be on and the fan-heater
will be switched off.
– Set the unit back to the vertical position,
switch the fan heater on again by pressing
the button (9 or 23) and set the necessary
settings of the fan heater operation modes.
Note: place the fan-heater on a flat dry and
steady surface to prevent it from dropping.
