Safety
• Theheater may be used by children of 8 years and above and by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capability or lack of experience and know-
ledge provided they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
theproduct in asafe way and understand thehazards involved. Neverlet children
play with theheater. Cleaning and maintenance may be carried out by children but
only under adult supervision.
• Theheater must be kept out of reach of children under 3 years of age unless they
are under constant supervision.
• Children between theages of 3 and 8 years should only switch theheater on/
off provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating
position and they have been given supervision or instruction in thesafe use of
theappliance and understand thehazards involved.
• Children between theages of 3 and 8 years must not plug in theheater, regulate it
or perform any user maintenance.
• Warning: Someparts of theheater can become very hot during use and can
causeburns. Special care must be taken if theheater is used in thesame room as
young children, aged or infirmed persons.
• Theheater should never be connected using anon/off timer or other equipment
which can automatically switch theapplianceon.
• Allow ample space around theheater; at least 1 m in front of theair inlet and outlet.
• Only use theheater with thefeet attached. Thismodel is not designed to be
wallmounted.
• Theheater should only be connected to a220–240V AC power supply.
• Theheater should only be used as described in this manual.
• Never attempt to tamper with or modify theheater in anyway.
• Do not place theheater directly under awall socket.
• Theheater should be placed on ahard, flat level surface with thefeet facingdown.
• Theheater is only intended for indooruse.
• Do not use any kind of extension lead with theheater.
• Do not use theheater in humid places or close to thebath or any other liquid-filled
containers into which it mayfall.
