Instructions on how to spray walls with the W 985 E
With the HVLP fine-spraying WAGNER devices yo will obtain especially smooth and even
s rfaces. For example, yo can se them to coat walls and ceilings. These instr ctions are
based on the WallPerfect W 985 E fine-spray system.
1. Clear the room and cover the floors and f rnit re. Use cardboard, cover fleece and/or
masking tape. Mask the doors and corners. Make s re the masking tape sticks well.
2. Connect p the spray lance and grip.
3. Connect the spray head to the end of the lance by clicking it into place.
4. Insert the p ll-wire into the holding fixt re and t rn it ntil yo have the right amo nt of
tension.
5. Press the paint hose into the front slot.
6. Make s re the entire length is ta t from where it leaves the slot and then press it into the
groove.

7. Insert the thin hose at the grip end.
8. Attach the bigger black hose to the grip.
9. The protective cap is affixed to the front of the lance.
10. The hoses also need to be attached to the device.
11. The paint has to be thinned and mixed.
12. To fill the device, set the rotary knob to "Clean" and dip the s ction hose into the paint
container.
13. Depress the grip and keep the spray lance held over the paint container. Keep the grip
depressed ntil paint emerges at the front.
14. Once the entire hose is f ll of paint, move the knob from "Clean" to "On". Now make s re
that the lance is no longer pointing towards the paint container.

15. Now do a test spray on to a piece of cardboard or a test poster.
16. First of all spray the corners and edges with paint. Afterwards spray the s rfaces making
s re yo keep to an even distance (approx. 10-20 centimetres) from the s rface
