Disregard of or actions contrary to the safety information and instructions contained in this manual and

or to the Wallbox device. Any resulting damage from such actions is excluded from the warranty.
The installation of the Wallbox device must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the
perceptive regulation. The information provided in this Installation Guide does not relieve the user of
responsibility to follow all norms and standards or local regulations that may apply.
The Wallbox charger device has been designed, developed and manufactured to satisfy requirements,
safety dispositions and norms in accordance with the directives presented in the declaration of conformity.

Safety Instructions
CONNECTOR RECOMMENDATIONS
•Always check the charging cable and the contacts for damage and contamination before use.
•Never use a damaged charging cable, the vehicle plug, or the infrastructure electrical outlet to charge.
•Never use contacts that are dirty or wet.
•Only connect the connector to vehicle plug and infrastructure electrical outlets that are protected
against water, moisture and liquids.
•After stopping the charging process, the vehicle connector and the equipment plug can be
disconnected. Never use force to disconnect the vehicle connector from the inlet or the equipment plug
power outlet. Such dangerous activity can cause serious injuries or even death.
•Depending on the charging station and the electric vehicle, the time to complete the charging process
and the duration of unlocking may vary.
•Some vehicles can be started with the charging cable connected. Be sure to unplug before driving o.
•Do not use the charging cable with an extension cable or an adapter.
•If the connector emits smoke or begins to melt, never touch the charging cable. If possible, stop the
charging process. In any event, disconnect the power supply from the Wallbox device.
•Keep the charging cable out of the reach of children.
•Be careful with the connector, do not step on it or on the cable.
•The cable should NOT be tightened under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES while connected to the vehicle.
•Do not operate if physical defects such as cracking, breakage, corrosion, or other damage are observed.
In this case, please contact your distributor.
•Only an authorized specialist and qualified personnel may open, disassemble, repair, alter or modify the
Wallbox device. Unauthorized modification of the Wallbox equipment makes manufacturer warranty
void.
•Unauthorized modifications or conversions are not allowed.
•Do not delete any warning on the device, such as safety symbols, warning notices, rating plates,
identification plates or cable markings
•Protect your Wallbox device from any impact which it may be exposed.
•The charging station does not have its own power switch. Always respect local electricity rules and
regulations, as relevant.
•Wallbox chargers can only be used under the operating parameters specified and within the normal
ambient conditions described in the Product Description.
•Do not use your Wallbox charger under adverse climatic conditions that could aect the vehicle or the
Wallbox device. Do not open the cover in the rain.
Important information for the correct disposal of the product in accordance with Directive 2012/19/EC. At the
end of its useful life, the product will not be disposed of as urban waste.
It must be taken to a collection center for special and differentiated waste or to a distributor that provides this
service.

Product Description
INTRODUCTION
Wallbox Pulsar is a practical and intelligent charging system for electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids.
Pulsar's design is the most compact on the market and features the most advanced technology to
provide the maximum charging performance for the vehicle. It adapts to any installation, both private
garages and community or company parking.
Through the myWallbox platform you can monitor energy consumption, view charging history and
schedule charging sessions. You even have the option of configuring your Wallbox so that it charges at
the most cost effective time of day.

Installation Instructions
The installation of the Wallbox should be undertaken by a qualified electrician in accordance with the
applicable standards and regulations. Preferably the installation should be undertaken by a
Wallbox trained installer. Local regulations on electrical installations, fire prevention, and accidents
as well as emergency exits implemented from installation must be taken into account.
Please contact an electrician or arrange installation at your premises with your local distributor
PRECAUTIONS
Flammable, explosive, or combustible materials.
Chemicals or solvents.
Gas pipes or steam outlets.
Heat emitters such as radiators or batteries.
Areas prone to flooding, running water or humid environments.
Take special care when selecting the mounting surface. It must be able to adequately
support the weight of the charger and withstand the mechanical forces associated to
charger use.
The power supply connection must comply with the standards and regulations for cabling
and building infrastructure.
The Wallbox charger must be permanently connected to the electrical earth of the
installation.
Before installing or cleaning your Wallbox make sure that the power supply is switched off
and there is no power in the system.
The charger must be installed in a suiciently ventilated location to ensure it remains cool.
Always bear in mind the operating temperatures of the device.
It is recommended to avoid installation in areas where there is direct sunlight to prevent
overheating and deterioration of the device.
Do not install your Wallbox charger near:

Electrical Protection
•The power supply line must be wired to an existing installation and be in accordance with local
regulations.
•The charger must be electrically protected by installing externally a Miniature Circuit Breaker
(MCB) and a Residual Current Circuit Breaker (RCCB).
MCB: maximum value according to the maximum output current of the load point.
RCCB: According to local regulations, Type A or Type B.

Drill
Dimensions and Positioning of the Device
In accordance with the product standards, the charging station must be located at height “y” (I-5)
between 1.3 m and 1.7 m above ground level. We recommend mounting the charging
station at a height of 1.4 m. Remember that local regulations may limit this height. It is
mandatory to consider the following precautions:
Use the drilling template as a guide to mark the place for the three anchor screws on the wall. Take
special care to keep the template level. The use of a spirit level is highly recommended.
Drill the anchor hole marks to the diameter specified for the selected equipment for the installation. For
installation on wood, brick and concrete walls use the equipment delivered with the charger.
•The mounting area required for the Wallbox charging station is at least 250x150 mm (height by
width) (I-5).
•When installing the Wallbox, the cable should easily reach the vehicle inlet.
•For a safe operation of your charging station, you must observe the minimum distances
recommended to other technical installations.
•The plug holder (I-2) should be placed at a height between 0.50 m and 1.50 m. Maintaining a
square of 400x400 mm around it to provide sufficient space for the ergonomics is recommended.

Mounting
1. OPENING THE DEVICE (I-6.1, I-6.2)
•Step 1.1. Remove the screw on the bottom side.
•Step 1.2. Carefully open the cover with the opening tool included.
•Step 1.3. Remove the ribbon cable from the cover.
Make sure the power supply is turned off during all mounting steps
2. CURRENT SELECTOR (I-7)
Use the selector to select the maximum input current of the device. Positions 0, 8 and 9 are
reserved for the Power Sharing Smart feature.
3. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
IMPORTANT: Always use standard cables that can drive the current that has
been setup in the current selector.
In the case that your Wallbox uses the rear input cable follow the steps in section
3-A. Otherwise go to section 3-B.
3-A. REAR CONNECTION
•Step 3-A.1: In the back of your Wallbox an area with a thinner wall can be found; use a cutter or any
sharp tool and make an incision for entry of the cable.
•Step 3-A.2: Carefully and firmly insert the power cable through the board. The board has been
designed so cables from 11 to 17 mm can pass through it, which is the standard for cables that can
drive up to 22 kW.
•Step 3-A.3: Proceed to fix the charger to the wall. Insert the screws in the marked positions,
starting at the top and following a clockwise direction (I-8.1). Check that your Wallbox
Pulsar is firmly fixed to the wall.
•Step 3-A.4: Make sure the previous steps have been completed correctly.

3-B. LOWER CONNECTION (I-8.1, I-8.2 and I-8.3)
•Step 3-B.1: Proceed to fix the charger to the wall. Insert the screws in the marked positions, starting
at the top and following a clockwise direction (I-8.1). Check that your Wallbox Pulsar is firmly fixed to
the wall.
•Step 3-B.2: Insert the power supply cables through the cable connector (I-8.2, I-8.3).
•Step 3-B.3: Make sure the previous steps have been completed correctly.

In the event that the supply scheme does not include a neutral line connection with a voltage lower than
145 V, follow the next configuration steps:
Bi-phase setup (2P)

The colours shown are not subject to international standards. Always check the correct connection.
In the event that the earthing system is IT follow the configuration steps in CONFIGURING IT NETWORK
section.
4. CLOSURE OF THE DEVICE (I-9)
•Step 4.1: Reconnect the ribbon cable to the cover.
•Step 4.2: Close the front cover, taking special care with the fitting and ensuring that the O-ring
remains in place.
•Step 4.3: Secure the cover by tightening the Torx screw.
In case it is needed to reopen the device, use only the tool (I-6.1) provided for this procedure included in the
Wallbox box. The use of any other tool or means may cause damage in the charger, which wouldn't be
covered by the product warranty.
Connect the neutral and earth power lines to the terminal according to the supply configuration
(I-8.2, I-8.3).
Maximum torque for the connectors with screws is 0.9 Nm.
5. PLUG HOLDER
•Step 5.1: Mark the position for the securing screws on the wall.
•Step 5.2: Drill the marked holes.
•Step 5.3: Fix the anchor to the wall. Insert the screws in the marked positions.

Startup
Once the assembly process has been completed your Wallbox Pulsar is ready to be used. However,
please read and review the information detailed below before beginning to operate your Wallbox Pulsar:
•Do not use your Wallbox Pulsar for purposes not described in the section "Product
Description".
•Never open the front cover of your charger when it is connected to the power supply.
•Special precautions must be taken with electronic implants. Please contact your medical device
manufacturer to find out the potential eects that the charging process may cause to it.
•Review and confirm all the steps that have been carried out.

POWER SHARING SMART
If your charger is going to be part of a Power Sharing Smart infrastructure, please be sure you have the
instructions to perform this installation. In case of any doubt contact your sales agent.
Maintenance
Take some precautions to ensure correct maintenance:

•The are no parts within your Wallbox that the user has to maintain. Only a qualified electrician
may open and modify your Wallbox.
•Make sure that the power supply is turned o before you start cleaning your charger.
•If you want to clean your Wallbox we recommend that you use a soft, dry or damp cloth. Do not
use a spray or direct water stream to clean your Wallbox charger.
•It is mandatory to use the plug holder provided as an accessory, in order to protect the
connector from falling, dirt and other weather elements.
•In case it is needed to reopen the device, use only the tool (I-6.1) provided for this procedure
included in the Wallbox box. The use of any other tool or means may cause damage in the
charger, which wouldn't be covered by the product warranty.
6.CONFIGURE IT NETWORK (I-10)
•Step 6.1: Download the Wallbox app available from Android Play Store or Apple App Store.
•Step 6.2: Log-in using your account.
•Step 6.3: Add your charger by clicking on the "+" button on the main page, introduce
the SN and UID of your charger.
At this point the Pulsar is registered in myWallbox. To further configure the network as IT follow
the next steps:
•Step 6.4: Enter Wallbox app and select your charger from the charger list.
•Step 6.5: Enter in the System menu in the top right corner.
•Step 6.6: Enter in the Installation Options menu.
•Step 6.7: Enable the IT network button.

Limited Warranty
Wallbox warrants this product against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the
date of purchase. During this period, Wallbox will either repair or replace, at its discretion, any defective
product at no charge to the owner.
Replacement products or repaired parts will be guaranteed for only the unexpired portion of the original
warranty or six months, whichever is greater. This limited warranty does not apply to any defect resulting from
accident, misuse, improper maintenance, or normal wear and tear. The substitution or incorporation of any part
by the client will be understood as incorrect use.
Except to the extent allowed by applicable law, the terms of this limited warranty do not exclude, restrict or
modify, and are in addition to, the mandatory statutory rights applicable to the sale of the product to you. If
you believe your product is defective, contact Wallbox for instructions on where to send or bring it for repair.
