Safety Information
1. Read the entire manual before using the product.
2. Keep the device far from high temperature locations to avoid leakage or combustion of the internal
battery. Do not mount near chimneys, exhausts, air conditioners, open-ame grills, boilers, or furnaces.
3. Disassembling the Wasserstein Solar Light Charger for Arlo Essential is not recommended as it may cause
damage to internal components. The solar light may not function properly after disassembly.
4. Make sure the solar light is properly installed onto the wall mount with screws to prevent damage and
tampering by animals, rain and wind.
5. Packaging materials should be kept away from children.

Switching the button to “O” position will deactivate the device. The light will not switch
on at any time.
The motion sensor has three knobs which you can set:
1. Brightness Settings
2. Motion Detection Range
3. Illumination
• The LED light has three brightness levels (Low, Mid, High) and can be adjusted
using this button.
• The motion sensor has three distance thresholds (Low - 13 ft, Mid - 23 ft,
High - 33 ft) and can be adjusted using this button.
• The threshold is the motion sensor’s maximum detection distance.
Adjust it based on the mounting location and environment of the
spotlight.
• These threshold measurements are based on the assumption that the
device is mounted at least 7 ft above the ground with an ambient
temperature of 59 °F (15 °C).
• The LED light has four illumination durations (15 sec., 30 sec., 1 min., 3 min.) and
can be adjusted using this button.
• The duration is the time the LED light will stay on when movement is detected
at nighttime.
The light only activates in darkness. Photocell sensitivity determines how dark it needs to be for the light to
activate.
The device is equipped with a dusk sensor. When the device is activated (I/O switch is in the “I” position), the
battery will be automatically recharged during the day, and the light will turn on at night. The device
automatically switches to battery recharging mode at daytime.
Parameter Settings
a. Choose low sensitivity to activate the light only when it is very dark.
b. Choose high sensitivity to have the light activate at around dusk and remain activated until later in the
morning.

1. Position the Wasserstein Solar Light Charger for Arlo Essential so that the
motion sensor points towards the general area you want to monitor.
2. Mount the solar light at least 7 ft (2 m) above the ground and aim it slightly
downward (at least 15° downward) for the most eective results.
3. Make sure there are no unwanted side-to-side movements, such as passing
cars, that cross the detection zone regularly. The motion sensor is much
more sensitive to side-to-side movements across its eld of view than to
movements directly toward or away from it.
4. The best range for motion detection is 5 to 20 ft (1.5 to 6 m) from the solar
light’s position.
5. Connect the solar panel cable to the camera to keep it charged all day.
Mounting the Wasserstein Solar Light Charger for
Arlo Essential
1. Unscrew the installation plate from the Wasserstein Solar Light Charger for Arlo Essential.
2. Install the wall mount onto the wall using the provided screws and anchors. Ensure that the mount is
perpendicular to the wall and parallel to the ground to prevent damage to the light.
3. Slide the light downwards onto the mount.
4. Secure the light to the plate by inserting the screw into the hole located at the
bottom-center of the wall mount.

Note: To ensure a better experience, please switch o the device and leave the solar panel under direct sunlight for several hours, enabling
the internal battery to be charged before use
Reminder: After connecting the cable to the camera, please run it through the small gap of the cable holder attached so as to make sure the
cable does not fall down or loosen the connection.

Important Tips
1. Assess where intruders are most likely to enter and the path they would take. Most intruders enter the
home through a back door, patio door, or garage door. Hence it is advisable to place the Wasserstein
Solar Light Charger for Arlo Essential near entrances to your home.
2. Mount the solar light on walls that an intruder would walk alongside, such as a narrow pathway. The
motion sensor works best when movements are detected across the spotlight, not towards it.
3. You can also mount the Wasserstein Solar Light Charger for Arlo Essential beside your security camera to
illuminate the camera’s vision at night.
