Instructions for Operation of cleatPRO Steamer®

Congratulations on receiving your cleatPRO® Steamer .
Your Steamer is a simple and trouble-free unit to operate. The tank body, lid, bottom and tank housing are all made from type
304 stainless steel. The controls are an ON/OFF switch on the front of the unit and a thermostat on the rear to control the water
temperature. Unit is preset to a normal operating temperature.
Side handles and a handle on the lid minimize contact with the hot surface. Inside the unit is a heating element and a
temperature sensor. Side handles and locking casters below allow easy movement of the unit. A drain valve is located on the
back of the unit.

SETTING UP and using your unit
Make sure the unit is unplugged and all
packaging has been removed.
Ensure drain valve is closed by turning
valve clockwise.
Use hose provided. Fill unit with recommended amount of
water and maintain water level as specified below:
-Model T-8-S-CC = 2.5 gallons (just above base of rack)
-Model T-12-M-CC = 2 gallons (1 inch above base of rack)
-Model T-12-M-GP = 3 gallons (0.5 inch above base of rack)

ENSURE WATER LEVEL IS MAINTAINED
Place the rack inside
the unit. Be careful of
the heating element.

After desired steaming time, open lid and
remove shoes/gloves from unit.
CAUTION: SHOE/GLOVES MAY BE HOT.
5To adjust steaming temperature, locate temperature stem at
the back of the unit, above the power socket, and attach
temperature knob (comes in separate bag with manual).
Using the knob, turn clockwise to increase the temperature.
Allow the temperature to stabilize, and measure the water
temperature with the thermometer.
CAUTION: Sensitive thermostat - a small adjustment
changes several degrees. Temperature range of 65°F
(18°C) to 175°F (79°C) ±5°F (-15°C).

TEMPERATURE
The water temperature for normal operating conditions is about 165°F (74°C). The thermostat is very sensitive; even a small
adjustment can raise or lower the temperature several degrees. The thermostat has an adjustable temperature range of 65°F (18°C) to
175°F (79°C) ±5°F (-15°C). To adjust the temperature, you need a Thermometer capable of 180° F (83° C).

Close lid. Switch unit on 30 minutes prior to first
use. Once interior tank is steaming, open lid and
insert shoes/gloves carefully into unit. Close lid and
allow steaming process for 5-30 minutes.
CAUTION: STEAM FROM UNIT IS HOT. TAKE
CARE WHEN OPENING AND CLOSING LID.

To drain water, unplug unit from
outlet and allow time for water to
cool. Once water has cooled, for
the T-12-M-CC and T-12-M-GP:
locate the drain valve in the back of
the unit and turn counterclockwise.
To drain water from the T-8-S-CC,
remove interior rack, then tilt unit
on its side and allow water to drain.
Rinse excess debris as needed.
