Introduction
Thank you for purchasing this quality product. To minimize the risk of injury we urge that our clients
take some basic safety precautions when using this device. Please read the operation instruc-
tions carefully and make sure you have understood its content.
Keep these operation instructions safe.
Important Instructions
Warning:
•Do not use the heater with a programmer, timer, separate remote-control system, or any other
device that switches the heater on automatically, since a fire risk exists if the heater is covered
or positioned incorrectly.
•It is dangerous to install the device close to curtains and other combustible materials.
•Do not use the heater close to a shower, bath or swimming pool.
•The heater should not be located below a socket.
•If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified electrician in order to avoid a
hazard.
•This device can be used by children aged 8 years and above and people with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are being super-
vised and instructed on how to use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance work cannot be
carried out by children unless they are older than 8 and are being supervised.
•Keep the appliance and its cable out of reach of children younger than 8 years of age.
•Warning: This heater is not equipped with a device to control the room temperature. Do not use
this heater in small rooms when they are occupied by people not capable of leaving the room
on their own, unless constant supervision is provided.
•Pay attention that, no combustible materials, such as curtains, marquees, flags, plastic foils,
etc. cover or obstruct the device due to wind/ draft or other environmental influences.
•Caution: Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention
has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
Safety notes
When using this electric unit, basic safety precautions should be followed to reduce the risk of fire,
electric shock, and injury to people, including the following:
•Do read all instructions before using this device.
•Caution: Risk of electric shock. Do not open or try to repair the heater yourself.
•This heater may get hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If
provided, use handles when moving this heater.
•Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, paper, clothes, and curtains at
least 90 cm/3 feet from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides, top, and
rear. Do not place towels or other objects on the heater.
•Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or disabled people
or when the heater is left operating and unattended.
•Do not operate any heater with a damaged cable or if the heater has malfunctions, has been
dropped or damaged in any way. Bring the heater to an authorized servicing facility for exami-
nation, electrical or mechanical adjustment or repair.
•This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor locations.
Never locate the heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water bodies. To protect against
electrical hazards, do not immerse it in water or other liquids.
•Do not touch the control panel with a wet hand.
