Introduction
Thank you for purchasing this quality product. To minimize the risk of injury we urge that our clients
take some basic safety precautions when using this device. Please read the operation instruc-
tions carefully and make sure you have understood its content.
Keep these operation instructions safe.
Important Instructions
Warning:
•Do not use the heater with a programmer, timer, separate remote-control system, or any other
device that switches the heater on automatically, since a fire risk exists if the heater is covered
or positioned incorrectly.
•It is dangerous to install the device close to curtains and other combustible materials.
•Do not use the heater close to a shower, bath or swimming pool.
•The heater should not be located below a socket.
•If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified electrician in order to avoid a
hazard.
•This device can be used by children aged 8 years and above and people with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are being super-
vised and instructed on how to use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance work cannot be
carried out by children unless they are older than 8 and are being supervised.
•Keep the appliance and its cable out of reach of children younger than 8 years of age.
•Warning: This heater is not equipped with a device to control the room temperature. Do not use
this heater in small rooms when they are occupied by people not capable of leaving the room
on their own, unless constant supervision is provided.
•Pay attention that, no combustible materials, such as curtains, marquees, flags, plastic foils,
etc. cover or obstruct the device due to wind/ draft or other environmental influences.
•Caution: Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention
has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
Safety notes
When using this electric unit, basic safety precautions should be followed to reduce the risk of fire,
electric shock, and injury to people, including the following:
•Do read all instructions before using this device.
•Caution: Risk of electric shock. Do not open or try to repair the heater yourself.
•This heater may get hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If
provided, use handles when moving this heater.
•Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, paper, clothes, and curtains at
least 90 cm/3 feet from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides, top, and
rear. Do not place towels or other objects on the heater.
•Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or disabled people
or when the heater is left operating and unattended.
•Do not operate any heater with a damaged cable or if the heater has malfunctions, has been
dropped or damaged in any way. Bring the heater to an authorized servicing facility for exami-
nation, electrical or mechanical adjustment or repair.
•This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor locations.
Never locate the heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water bodies. To protect against
electrical hazards, do not immerse it in water or other liquids.
•Do not touch the control panel with a wet hand.

•Do not run the cable under carpeting. Do not cover the cable with rugs, runners or similar
coverings. Place the cable away from busy/frequently used areas and where it will not be tripped
over.
•Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation opening as this may cause an
electric shock or fire or damage the heater.
•To prevent a possible fire, do not block the air intakes in any way. Do not use the device on
soft surfaces, like a bed, etc. where openings may become blocked.
•A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use in areas where gasoline, paint,
explosive and/ or flammable liquids are used or stored. Keep unit away from heated surfaces
and open flames.
•Avoid the use of an extension cable as it may overheat and cause a risk of fire. However, if an
extension cable is required it should have a minimum wire size of 1.5 mm².
•To disconnect the heater, first turn the switch to off. Always turn the device off before moving
or cleaning it or whenever the heater is not in use.
•Only use it for the intended purpose described in this manual. Any other use is not recom-
mended by the manufacturer and may cause fire, electric shock or injury to people. The use of
attachments is not recommended especially when sold by unauthorized dealers, as these may
cause hazards.
•Always use on a dry and level surface. Only use it hanging from a ceiling.
•Warning: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use this device with any solid-state
speed control device.
•Do not attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this device. Doing
so will void your warranty. The inside of the device contains parts which are not serviceable by
the user. Only qualified technicians should carry out all servicing works.
•Only connect the device to properly earthed outlets. These devices must be supplied with the
correct voltage and frequency (220–240 V, 50 Hz, AC) and connected to a single, properly
earthed branch circuit protected by a circuit breaker that must be attached to the chain according
to the wiring rules. The power cord of this device must be fastened with the chain, the installation
can only be carried out by a qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

Mounting and operation instructions
•Hang the heater from a firm and level ceiling.
•The hook hanging from the ceiling holding the heater must be able to securely hold a weight
3 or 4 times that of the heater itself.
•Hang the heater hook on the ceiling hook and place a ring of the heater chain onto the ceiling
hook at the required height.
•The distance between the bottom of the heater to the floor must be over 1.8 m and the distance
between the top of the heater and ceiling must be at least 30 cm.
•Only operate the heater when it is in an upright position. The heater has three heating levels
(500 W, 1000 W or 1500 W) that can be set via the buttons.
•The device can be switched on or off via the on/off switch of the remote control or the switch of
the device.
•For additional lighting, the built-in LED light can be switched on using the remote control as
required.
Maintenance
Switch off the device before performing any reparation or maintenance work; let the device completely
cool down.
•To keep the heater clean, the outer cover can be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. You can use
a mild detergent if necessary. Dry with a soft cloth after cleaning.
•Do not use alcohol, gasoline, abrasive powder, furniture polish, or rough brushes to clean the
heater. This can lead to damage or scratches on the surface of the heater.
•Although this heater is approved for use outdoors (on balconies and patios), for your own safety
do not immerse it in water. Before use, wait until the device is completely dry.
Storage
If the heater will not be used for a longer period of time, store it in a cool, dry location when not in use.
To prevent dust and dirt build-up, use the original packaging to repack the unit for storage.
Trouble shooting
If the heater will not operate, please check the following before thinking of repair or servicing work:
•check if the electricity to the main fuse is working;
•make sure that the power switches are turned on. If not, switch it on.

Disposal regulations
EU guidelines regarding the disposal of scrap electric appliances (WEEE, 2012/19/EU) were imple-
mented in the law related to electrical and electronic equipment and appliances.
All WilTec electric devices that fall under the WEEE regulations are labelled with the crossed-out
wheeled waste bin logo. This logo indicates that this electric equipment must not be disposed with the
domestic waste.
The company WilTec Technik GmbH has been registered in the German registry EAR under the WEEE-
registration number DE45283704.
Disposal of used electrical and electronic appliances
(intended for use in the countries of the European Un-
ion and other European countries with a separate col-
lection system for these appliances).
The logo on the article or on its packaging points out
that this article must not be treated as normal house-
hold waste but must be disposed to a recycling collec-
tion point for electronic and electrical waste equipment.
By contributing to the correct disposal of this article you
protect the environment and the health of your fellow
men. Environment and health are threatened by inap-
propriate disposal.
Material recycling helps reduce the consumption of raw materials.
