Thank you for purchasing this quality product. To minimise the risk of injury we urge that our clients
take some basic safety precautions when using this device. Please read the operation instruc-
tions carefully and make sure you have understood its content.
Keep these operation instructions safe.
Safety instructions
Please ensure to read this operation manual carefully and completely to properly familiarise yourself
with the product and its functions. Only use this electric blanket and the functions listed within this oper-
ation manual for the purpose they were intended for.
•This device must be operated with a voltage of 230 V.
•Do not modify or perform repair work on the device. Repairs as well as the maintenance of
electric parts must be performed by qualified experts.
•Do not operate the device, if it should be damaged and instead replace it or have it repaired by
a qualified expert.
•Do not operate the device, if it has fallen, operates in an unusual manner, has been submerged
or overheated, has changed its colour, or begun to deform.
•Never leave the device unattended, if it is connected to the mains supply.
•This device is not a toy. Keep it inaccessible to children and do not let them play with it.
•Protect the device from high temperatures and keep it away from heat sources such as hot
surfaces, direct sunlight, and open fire. Further avoid contact with oil and sharp edges and do
not use it in the vicinity of ignition sources.
•Do not use the device in flammable, explosive, or toxic environments.
•Only use water with a maximum temperature of 30 ℃ and mild washing agents or washing
powders to clean the device.
•Always disconnect the device from the mains supply, if it is not in use.
•This product is intended for indoor use and must not be used outside.
•Do not pull at the cable of the device and do not abuse it to lift or carry the device. Furthermore,
make sure that the cable is not bent or jammed and keep it away from sharp edges and objects.
•Do not use the device, if the power cord should show signs of damage or wear. Do not repair
damaged cables and instead have them replaced by a qualified expert.
•Do not completely submerge the device in water or other liquids. Do not use the device in the
vicinity of water sources or environments with a high level of humidity.
•Always make sure to turn the device off and disconnect it from the mains supply before cleaning
or moving it.
•Only use the product for its intended purpose.
•The electric blanket can only function in combination with the power cord and control unit in-
cluded in the scope of delivery.
•Keep the product away from sharp or pointy objects and do not attach pins or buttons to it.
•Make sure that the control unit does not overheat. To avoid overheating, do not cover it with
cushions, blankets, or other objects.
•Do not operate the device with wet hands and avoid exposure of the power plug to water or high
levels of moisture to minimise the risk of electric shock.
•Before starting the electric blanket, make sure that it is not folded and do not fold it while it is
operating.
•Do not use the device on infants or small children under 3 years of age. Due to them being
unable to process heat, the device is life-threatening to them.
•Children in the vicinity of the device must be always supervised by adults responsible for their
safety.
•Do not iron the product as the mixture of pressure and heat may damage internal circuits.
