INTRODUCTION
Oneofthemostpopulardo‐it‐yourselfhomesecuritysolutionsistheinstallationofawirelessalarmsystem.
Affordableandeasytoinstall,wirelesssystemsarehighlyrecommendedtoanyonewhowantstoavoiddrilling
intowallsorwhowantstobypasscomplicatedwiringinstructionswithoutcompromisingsecurity.Weare
pleasedtoofferavastarrayofwirelessalarmsystems
Notonlyarewirelessalarmsystemsidealsolutionsforthosewhowishtoskipamorelabour‐intensive
installationprocess,buttheyoffersecurityforplaceswhereahardwiredsystemisnotpractical.Suchincludes
structureswherehardwiredsystemsarenotanoptionduetofactorslikebrickorconcretewalls,oreven
structureswithtileflooringoralackofatticspace‐‐allwhichlimitoptionsforwiringinstallations.Wireless
alarmsystems,ontheotherhand,canbeinstalledjustaboutanywhere
Thekitsthatweofferincludekeysecuritycomponentslikecontacts,motionsensors,remotecontroland
moreofthese,includeGSMmodules,whichallowthesystemtointeractwithahomeowner’smobiledevice
bysendingatextmessageorcalltotheowner’swhenevercertaineventsoccurwhilethesystemisarmed,
suchasadoororawindowbeingopened,orwheneverthesystemhasbeentamperedwith.
SETTINGUPANDPROGRAMMING
WhenfirstbootingupthesystemyouwillseeGreenLEDLightsonthesideoftheEnclosureanditshouldlight
upwhentheNetworkisappliedtotheunit.
TheGreenLEDisthenetworkIndicatorandthiswilllightupwhenattemptingtologontothenetworkflash
inconsistentlyuntilitlocatesthenetwork.
APhoneCalltotheSIMCardNumberwillnowLatchtheRelaypermanentlyONandSwitchthedevicebeing
ControlledOn.
TheStatusoftheRelaywillremainason,untiltheunitreceivesasecondCalltotheUnitofwhichwillnow
LatchtheRelayPermanentlyoff.
BothCallsusedtoLatchtheRelayeitheronoroffareautomaticallydisconnected,oncetherelaysare
activatedandneverincuranyNetworkCallCosts.

TheGSMRemoteControlSwitchiseasytosetupanduse.InserttheSIMcard,simplyuseyourmobilephone
calltotheunit,yourmobilephonenumberwillautomaticallyregisterasthe1stAdministrators

PreparingtheSIMcard
AllnewSIMcardshavetoberegisteredwiththenetworkproviderbeforetheycanbeused,usuallybycalling
thenetworkproviderorregisteringontheirwebsitepleaserefertotheinstructionssuppliedwithyourSIM
card.
DuringtheregistrationprocedureaconfirmationcodeortextmessageisusuallysenttotheSIMcards
telephonenumber,tobeabletoreadandreacttothemessageyouwillneedtoinserttheSIMcardintoan
unlockedmobilephone.
AftersuccessfullyregisteringtheSIMcard,ensurethereissufficientcreditonthecardforprogramming
confirmationtextstobesentfromtheGSMRemoteControlSwitch.
YouMUSTensurethatthePINrequestisdisabledfromtheSIMcardbeforeinsertingitintotheGSMRemote
ControlSwitch.IfyoudonotdisablethePINrequesttheGSMRemoteControlSwitchwillnotwork.IfthePIN
requestisnotdisabledandtheunitisswitchedonmorethan3timesyouwillhavetoresetthePINusingthe
PUKcodewhichwillhavetobeobtainedfromtheserviceprovider.
TocheckthePINrequeststatusofyourSIMcard,placethecardinanunlockedmobilephone,switchthe
