POINTS FOR YOUR
ROTARY HAMMER
1. Connect the mains plug only when the tool
is switched off. After using, pull the mains
plug.
2. Always direct the cable to the rear away
from the machine.
3. Persons under 16 years of age are not
permitted to operate this machine.
4. Keep the tool and accessories out of the
reach of children.
5. Remove the plug from the socket before
carrying out any adjustment, servicing or
maintenance.
6. Fully unwind cable drum extensions to
avoid potential overheating.
7. When an extension cable is required you
must ensure it has the correct ampere
rating for your power tool and that it is in a
safe electrical condition.
8. Ensure your mains supply voltage is the
same as your tool rating plate voltage.
9. Your tool is double insulated for additional
protection against a possible electrical
insulation failure within the tool.
10. Always check walls and ceilings to avoid
hidden power cables and pipes.
11. After long working periods, external metal
parts and accessories could be hot.
12. Wear eye protection when operating this
tool.
13. Wear ear protectors when using
rotary hammer. Exposure to noise can
cause hearing loss.
14. Use auxiliary handles supplied with
the tool. Loss of control can cause
personal injury.
15. Hold the tool by insulated gripping
surfaces when performing an
operation where the cutting tool
may contact hidden wiring. Contact
with a ‘live’ wire will also make exposed
metal parts of the tool ‘live’ and shock the
operator.

OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
1. CHANGING THE DRILL CHUCK (See A)
(WX330)
Removing the replacement drill chuck
Warning: Before removing the
replacement drill chuck, always
remove the tool or bit!
With the drill pointing toward you, grasp the
locking ring (7) of the SDS-plus “quik-change”
chuck and pull forward firmly, then rotate it to
the side. The SDS-plus “quik-change” chuck
will come free.
Attaching the replacement drill chuck
When mounting the precision keyed chuck,
grasp the precision keyed chuck with the
whole hand, pull it back as far as it will go,
then rotate it to the side until it can clearly
be heard to latch. The precision keyed chuck
locks itself. Check locking by pulling on the
precision keyed chuck. Make replacements in
a corresponding manner.
2. INSERTING AND REMOVING DRILL
BIT IN SDS
Take care that the dust protection cap
(9) is not damaged when changing tools.
Inserting
Clean and lightly oil the bit before inserting.
Insert the dust-free bit into the bit holder with
a twisting motion
The bit locks itself. Check the locking by
pulling on the tool.
Removing
Retract back the bit holder locking sleeve (8)
and pull out the bit.

in the chuck, We therefore recommend
that only high quality SDS bits be used
with this tool.
3. MOUNTING OF BIT IN PRECISION
KEYED CHUCK (WX330)
Warning: Do not use tools without
SDS-plus for hammer drilling or
chiseling!
Before mounting the drill bit, attaching the
13 mm precision keyed chuck (11), insert bit
between the chuck jaws as far as it will go.
Ensure drill bit is in the center of the chuck
jaws. Using the chuck key provided, there are
three holes in which the chuck key should be
inserted. Tighten them equally in turn at each
of the three holes, not just at one hole. Your
drill bit is now locked in the chuck. The bit can
be removed by reversing the above procedure
(See B ).
4. INSERTING/REPLACING THE DRILL
CHUCK (See Fig. C)
Inserting the Drill Chuck
To work with tools without SDS-plus (e.g.,
drills with cylindrical shafts), a suitable drill
chuck must be used. Insert the adapter (14) of
the drill chuck (13) with a twisting motion into
the SDS-plus chuck (12) until it can be heard
to lock. The adapter locks itself. Check the
locking by pulling on the drill chuck.
Removing the Drill Chuck
To remove the drill chuck (13), pull the locking
sleeve (8) to the rear, hold in this position and
remove the drill chuck from the tool holder.
5. ON/OFF SWITCH WITH VARIABLE
SPEED CONTROL
Depress to start and release to stop your tool.
This tool has a variable speed switch (1) that
delivers higher speeds with increased trigger
pressure - speed is controlled by varying the
pressure applied to the switch (See D)
6. SWITCH LOCK-ON BUTTON
Depress the on/off switch (1) then the lock
on button (2) (See D); release the on/off
switch first and the lock-on button second.
Your switch is now locked on for continuous
use. To switch off your tool just depress and
release the on/off switch.
7. AUXILIARY HANDLE
Slide the handle onto the drill and rotate to
the desired working position. To clamp the
auxiliary handle rotates the handle clockwise.
To loosen the auxiliary handle rotate the
handle anti-clockwise (See E).

8. FORWARD AND REVERSE ROTATION
CONTROL
With the drill pointing away from you, push
the forward/reverse-lever (3) to the left “ ”
for forward rotation. Push the forward/reverse-
lever (3) to the right for reverse rotation “ “ .
Warning: Never change the
direction of rotation while
the tool is rotating, wait until it has
stopped.
9. ADJUSTABLE DEPTH STOP
Fit the drill bit or driver bit into the chuck.
Loosen the depth stop by rotating the handle
anti-clockwise. Slide the depth stop until the
distance between the depth stop end and the
drill/driver bit end is equal to the depth of
hole/screw you wish to make. Then clamp the
depth stop by rotating the handle clockwise.
10. FUNCTION MODE SELECTION (See F)
The operation of the gearbox for each
application is set with the function mode
selection switch (4), To change between
functions, depress the unlocking button
(15) and rotate the selector to the desired
operating mode.
For simultaneous drilling and impacting of
concrete or masonry, choose the Hammer
drilling position.
For screw driving, drilling into steel, wood and
plastics choose the Rotary drilling position.
For impacting only - for light chipping,
chiseling and demolition applications choose
the Hammer position.
Warning: The operating mode
selector switch may be actuated
only at a standstill.
Warning: Prolonged use will cause
the aluminum housing to become
hot, do not touch.
WORKING HINTS FOR
YOUR DRILL(HAMMER)
If your power tool becomes over heated, set
the speed to maximum and run no load for 2-3
minutes to cool the motor. SDS-plus tungsten
carbide drill bits should always be used for
concrete and masonry. When drilling in metal,
only use HSS drill bits in good condition.
Always use a magnetic bit holder when using
short screwdriver bits. Where possible use a
pilot hole before drilling a large diameter hole.
MAINTENANCE
Your power tool requires no additional
lubrication or maintenance. There are no
user serviceable parts in your power tool.
Never use water or chemical cleaners to clean
your power tool. Wipe clean with a dry cloth.
Always store your power tool in a dry place.
Keep the motor ventilation slots clean. Keep
all working controls free of dust. If you see
sparks flashing in the ventilation slots, this is
normal and will not damage your power tool.
ENVIRONMENTAL
PROTECTION
Waste electrical products should not
be disposed of with household waste.
Please recycle where facilities exist.
Check with your local authorities or retailer for
recycling advice.
PLUG REPLACEMENT
(UK & IRELAND ONLY)
If you need to replace the fitted plug then
follow the instructions below.

The wires in the mains lead are colored in
accordance with the following code:

colored markings identifying the terminals
in your plug, proceed as follows. The wire
which is colored blue must be connected to
the terminal which is marked with N. The wire
which is colored brown must be connected to
the terminal which is marked with L.
Warning: Never connect live or neutral wires
to the earth terminal of the plug. Only fit an
approved 13ABS1363/A plug and the correct
rated fuse.
Note: If a moulded plug is fitted and has
to be removed take great care in disposing
of the plug and severed cable, it must be
destroyed to prevent engaging into a socket.

ZUSÄTZLICHE
SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
FÜR BOHRHÄMMER
1. Stecker nur bei ausgeschaltetem Gerät
einstecken. Nach dem Gebrauch den
Stecker ziehen.
2. Kabel immer nach hinten vom Gerät
wegführen.
3. Personen unter 16 Jahre dürfen das Gerät
nicht bedienen.
4. Gerät und Zubehör so aufbewahren, daß es
für kinder nicht zugänglich ist.
5. Ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose,
ehe Sie Einstellungsänderungen,
Reparatur- oder Wartungsarbeiten
durchführen.
6. Wickeln Sie das Verlängerungskabel
von der Trommel, um eine mögliche
Überhitzung zu vermeiden.
7. Falls ein Verlängerungskabel erforderlich
ist, verwenden Sie ein funktionstüchtiges,
zugelassenes Verlängerungskabel, das für
die Leistung des Werkzeugs ausreichend
ist.
8. Kontrollieren Sie, ob die Netzspannung
der auf dem Typenschild angegebenen
Spannung entspricht.
9. Das Werkzeug ist schutzisoliert. Dies
bietet zusätzlichen Schutz vor möglichen
Kurzschlüssen im Werkzeug.
10. Prüfen Sie vor dem Arbeiten in Wänden
und Decken den genauen Verlauf von
Stromkabeln oder Rohrleitungen.
11. Zugängliche Metallteile und Zubehörteile
können bei längerem Gebrauch sehr heiß
werden.
12. Tragen Sie beim Arbeiten mit dieser
Maschine eine Schutzbrille.
13. Tragen Sie bei der Arbeit mit
Bohrhämmern einen Gehörschutz.
Lärmaussetzung kann Gehörverlust
verursachen.
14. Benutzen Sie den zusätzlichen
Handgriff, der mit dem Werkzeug
geliefert wird. Kontrollverlust kann
Personenschäden zufolge haben.
15. Halten Sie das Werkzeug nur an den
isolierten griffigen Oberflächen,
wenn Sie einen Einsatz durchführen,
bei dem Schneidwerkzeuge eventuell
versteckte Kabel berühren könnten.
Berührung mit einem unter Strom
stehenden Kabel kann auch die Metallteile
des Gerätes unter Strom setzen und dem
Bedienenden einen Stromschlag versetzen.

1.BOHRFUTTER WECHSELN (siehe A)

Wechselbohrfutter abnehmen
Warnung: Vor dem Abnehmen des
Wechselbohrfutters unbedingt
Werkzeuge oder Bits entfernen.
Greifen Sie den Arretierring des „Quik-
Change“-Bohrfutters, der Bohrer zeigt dabei
in Ihre Richtung. Ziehen Sie den Arretierring
kräftig zu sich heran, drehen Sie es
anschließend zur Seite. Das „Quik-Change“-
Bohrfutter lässt sich nun lösen.
Wechselbohrfutter aufsetzen
Zur Montage des Präzisionsbohrfutters
greifen Sie das Bohrfutter mit der ganzen
Hand, ziehen es so weit wie möglich zurück
und drehen es zur Seite, bis es hörbar
einrastet. Das Präzisionsbohrfutter arretiert
sich selbst. Prüfen Sie den festen Sitz, indem
Sie am Präzisionsbohrfutter ziehen. Weitere
Bohrfutterwechsel führen Sie auf dieselbe
Weise aus.
2. BOHRER IN SDS EINSETZEN UND
HERAUSNEHMEN
Beim Wechseln der Werkzeuge darauf
achten, daß die Staubschutzkappe (9)
nicht beschädigt wird.
Einsetzen
Werkzeug vor dem Einsetzen reinigen und
leicht fetten. Das staubfreie Werkzeug in
die Werkzeugaufnahme drehend bis zum
Einrasten einschieben. Das Werkzeug
verriegelt sich selbsttätig. Verriegelung durch
Ziehen am Werkzeug prüfen.
Entnehmen
Ziehen Sie die Werkzeughalter-Arretierhülse
(8) zurück und entnehmen Sie das Werkzeug.
WARNUNG! Ihr neuer WORX-
Bohrhammer erzeugt hohe Kräfte,
damit Sie Ihre Arbeiten schnell und
problemlos erledigen können. Diese
Kräfte sind so stark, dass SDS-Bits
minderer Qualität brechen und sich im
Bohrfutter verklemmen können. Wir
möchten Ihnen daher warm ans Herz
legen, nur qualitativ hochwertige SDS-
Bits mit diesem Werkzeug zu benutzen.
3. WERKZEUG IN
PRÄZISIONSBOHRFUTTER (WX330)
EINSPANNEN
Warnung: Werkzeuge ohne SDS-
plus nicht zum Hammerbohren
oder Meißeln verwenden!
Bevor Sie den Bohrer einsetzen, montieren
Sie das 13 mm-Präzisionsbohrfutter (11).
Schieben Sie den Bohrer zwischen den
Bohrfutterspannbacken bis zum Anschlag
ein. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Bohrer
im Zentrum des Bohrfutters eingepasst
wurde. Nutzen Sie den mitgelieferten
Bohrfutterschlüssel. Es gibt drei Löcher
im Bohrfutter, in den Sie den Schlüssel
einpassen können. Ziehen Sie an allen drei
Löchern gleichmäßig fest, nicht nur an
einem Loch! Der Bohrer ist nun im Bohrfutter
eingespannt. Der Bohrer kann entfernt
werden, indem Sie die oben beschriebene
Prozedur umkehren (siehe B).
4. BOHRFUTTER EINSETZEN/WECHSELN
(Siehe C )
Bohrfutter einsetzen
Um mit Werkzeugen ohne SDS-plus (z.B.
Bohrer mit zylindrischem Schaft) arbeiten
zu können, muss ein geeignetes Bohrfutter
eingesetzt werden. Lassen Sie den Adapter
(14) für das Bohrfutter (13) mit einer
Drehbewegung in das SDS-plus-Bohrfutter
(12) einrasten. Der Aufnahmeschaft verriegelt
sich selbsttätig. Prüfen Sie die Verriegelung
durch Ziehen am Bohrfutter.
Bohrfutter entnehmen
Zum Entnehmen des Bohrfutters (13) ziehen
Sie die Verriegelungshülse (8) nach hinten,
halten Sie sie in dieser Position fest, und
entnehmen Sie das Bohrfutter aus der
Werkzeugaufnahme.
5. EIN/AUS-SCHALTER MIT
DREHZAHLREGELUNG
Zum Einschalten/Anlauf des Werkzeugs
drücken Sie auf den Schalter. Zum Stoppen
lassen Sie den Schalter wieder los. Das
Werkzeug hat eine Drehzahlregelung (1). Die
Drehzahl wird durch Druck auf den Schalter
reguliert: je stärker der Druck., desto höher
die Drehzahl. (siehe D)

6. EINSCHALTSPERRE
Drücken Sie den An/Aus-Schalter (1) und
dann die Einschaltsperre (2) (siehe E). Lassen
Sie zuerst den An/Aus-Schalter und dann die
Einschaltsperre los. Ihr Schalter ist nun im
Dauerbetrieb eingerastet. Um Ihr Werkzeug
abzuschalten, drücken Sie einfach den An/
Aus-Schalter und lassen Sie ihn wieder los.
7. HANDGRIFF VORNE
Schieben Sie den Handgriff auf den
Bohrerhals und drehen Sie ihn in die
gewünschte Position. Um den Seitengriff
festzuklemmen, drehen Sie den Handgriff
gegen den Uhrzeigersinn. Um den Seitengriff
zu lösen, drehen Sie den Handgriff im
Uhrzeigersinn. (siehe E)
Warnung: Benutzen Sie immer den
Hilfsgriff.
8. VORWÄRTS-RÜCKWÄRTSLAUF-
REGELUNG
Zum Bohren und Schrauben nutzen Sie den
Vorwärtslauf, dieser ist markiert als “ ”
(Hebel ist zur linken Seite umgelegt). Nutzen
Sie die Rücklauffunktion, markiert als “
“ (Hebel ist zur rechten Seite umgelegt) nur,
um Schrauben herauszudrehen oder um
eingeklemmte Bohrer herauszuholen.
Warnung: Wechseln Sie die
Drehrichtung niemals, während der
Bohrer läuft. Warten Sie, bis der Bohrer
ausgelaufen ist.
9. EINSTELLBARER TIEFENANSCHLAG
Passen Sie den Bohrer oder Schrauberbit in
das Bohrfutter ein.
Lösen Sie den Tiefenanschlag, indem Sie den
Handgriff gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehen.
Verschieben Sie den Tiefenanschlag, bis
die Entfernung zwischen Tiefenanschlag
und Bohrer/ Schrauberbit der gewünschten

10. BETRIEBSARBEITENAUSWAHL

Mit dem Betriebsarten-Wahlschalter (4)
können Sie die richtige Betriebsart für jeden
Anwendungszweck auswählen. Zum Wechsel
zwischen den einzelnen Funktionen drücken
Sie die Freigabetaste (15) und wählen die
gewünschte Betriebsart mit dem Wahlschalter
aus.
Zum Schlagbohren in Beton oder Mauerwerk
wählen Sie die Bohrhammer-Position.
Für Schraubungen, Bohren in Stahl, Holz und
Kunststoff wählen Sie die Bohr-Position.
Nur Hammerbetrieb: Zum Zerspanen, Meißeln
und zum Zertrümmern wählen Sie die
Hammer-Position.
Warnung: Der Betriebsarten-
Wahlschalter darf nur im Stillstand
betätigt werden.
Warnung: Das Aluminiumgehäuse
wird bei längerem Betrieb sehr
heiß. Nicht berühren!
ARBEITSHINWEISE FÜR
IHREN BOHRHAMMER
Wenn derBohrhammer zu heiß wird, lassen
Sie ihn 2-3 Minuten im Leerlauf laufen, um
den Motor abzukühlen.
SDS-plus-Wolframkarbid-Bohrer sollten
grundsätzlich für Beton und Mauerwerk
eingesetzt werden.
Wenn Sie in Metall bohren, verwenden Sie
nur HSS-Bohrer in gutem Zustand.
Immer einen magnetischen Bithalter
verwenden, wenn Sie kurze
Schraubendreherbits verwenden.
Wenn möglich, immer ein Loch vorbohren,
wenn Sie große Durchmesser bohren
möchten.
WARTUNG
Ihr Werkzeug benötigt keine zusätzliche
Schmierung oder Wartung. Es enthält keine
Teile, die Sie warten müssen. Reinigen
Sie Ihr Werkzeug niemals mit Wasser oder
chemischen Reinigungsmitteln. Wischen Sie
es mit einem trockenen Tuch sauber. Lagern
Sie Ihr Werkzeug immer an einem trockenen
Platz. Halten Sie die Lüftungsschlitze sauber.
Gelegentlich sind durch die Lüftungsschlitze
hindurch Funken zu sehen. Dies ist normal
und wird Ihr Werkzeug nicht beschädigen.

1. Ne brancher la fiche dans la prise de
courant que lorsque l’interrupteur de
l’appareil est sur arrêt. Retirer la fiche de la
prise une fois le travail terminé.
2. Toujours rassembler les câbles à l‘arrière
de l‘appareil.
3. Les personnes âgées de moins de 16
ans ne sont pas autorisées à se servir de
l‘appareil.
4. Ranger l’appareil et ses accessoires hors de
portée des enfants.
5. Débrancher la prise avant d’effectuer des
réglages, des réparations ou d’entretiens
de l’outil.
6. Dérouler entièrement le câble d’extension
afin d’éviter toute surchauffe éventuelle.
7. Lorsqu’une rallonge est nécessaire,
s’assurer qu’elle a le bon ampérage pour
votre outil et qu’elle est en bon état.
8. S’assurer que le voltage de votre source
d’alimentation est le même que celui de
votre outil.
9. Votre outil possède une double isolation
pour une meilleure protection contre
les éventuelles défaillances d’isolation à
l’intérieur de votre outil.
10. Toujours vérifier les murs et les plafonds
afin de voir s’il y a des câbles et tuyaux
cachés.
11. A la suite de longues périodes de travail,
les parties externes en métal et accessoires
pourraient être chauds.
12. Porter toujours des lunettes de protection.
13. Porter des protections auditives lors
de l’utilisation du marteau. L’exposition
au bruit peut causer une perte d’audition.
14. Veuillez utiliser les poignées
auxiliaires fournies avec l’outil. La
perte de contrôle peut engendrer des
blessures.
15. Tenir l’outil par ses surfaces
antidérapantes et isolées si l’outil
de coupe risque d’entrer en contact
avec des câbles cachés. L’entrée en
contact avec un câble sous tension rendra
les parties en métal de l’outil également
sous tension et l’utilisateur pourrait
recevoir une décharge électrique.
