• Make sure the appliance is cleaned thoroughly

cord, damaged plug, after the appliance
malfunctions, is dropped, or is damaged in

authorized service facility for examination,
repair, or adjustment.

• Extreme caution must be used when moving an
appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
• Refrain from using attachments that are not
recommended by the appliance manufacturer,
as this may result in fire, electric shock, or
personal injury.
• Do not let the power cord touch hot surfaces or
hang over the edges of tables or counters.
• This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge unless they
are provided with supervision and instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
• Always be sure to unplug the appliance from
outlet prior to moving, cleaning, storage, and
when not in use.
• Dash shall not accept liability for damages
caused by improper use of
the appliance.
• Never touch the Base while the Zakarian 14”
Rapid Skillet is in use.
• Do not use the appliance if any of the parts
are damaged.
• Do not place appliance on or near a hot gas
burner, hot electric burner, or in a heated oven.
• Do not deep fry food in the Zakarian 14”
Rapid Skillet.
• To avoid injury, we recommend allowing the
Zakarian 14” Rapid Skillet to return to room
temperature before detaching the Control
Probe from the Base.
• Allow the Zakarian 14” Skillet to cool completely
before moving, cleaning, or disassembling.
• Always attach the Control Probe to the Zakarian
14” Rapid Skillet first before plugging the
appliance into the outlet. Before unplugging,
make sure the Zakarian 14” Rapid Skillet is
turned to “O”, then remove the plug.
• Be cautious when moving the appliance if there
are hot liquids inside.
• Do not touch the Base or TruGlide Pro™ Cooking
Surface when the Zakarian 14” Rapid Skillet is
hot. Use the Handles.
• Improper use of the Zakarian 14” Rapid Skillet
can result in property damage or even in
personal injury.
• This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of
electric shock, this plug will fit in a polarized
outlet only one way. If the plug does not
completely fit in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it
still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
Do not modify the plug in any way.
• The longer cord should be arranged so that it
does not drape over the countertop or table
where it can be pulled on by children or tripped
over unintentionally.

• N’utilisez pas l’appareil si l’une des pièces est
endommagée.
• Ne placez pas l’appareil sur ou à proximité d’un
brûleur à gaz chaud, d’un brûleur électrique
chaud ou dans un four chaué.
• Ne faites pas frire les aliments dans le poêlon
Zakarian de 14 po.
• Pour éviter tout risque de blessure, nous
recommandons de laisser la poêle Zakarian 14
”revenir à la température ambiante avant de
détacher la sonde de contrôle de la base.
• Laissez la poêle Zakarian de 14 po refroidir
complètement avant de la déplacer, de la
nettoyer ou de la désassembler.
• Attachez toujours la sonde de contrôle à la
poêle Zakarian 14 ”avant de brancher l’appareil
à la prise. Avant de débrancher, assurez-vous
que le poêle Zakarian 14 ”est réglé sur“ O ”,
puis retirez la prise.
• Soyez prudent lorsque vous déplacez l’appareil
s’il contient des liquides chauds.
• Ne touchez pas la base ni le plat antiadhésif
lorsque la poêle Zakarian 14 ”est chaude.

• Une mauvaise utilisation de la poêle Zakarian
14 ”peut provoquer des dommages matériels,
voire corporels.
• Cet appareil est doté d’une fiche polarisée
(une des lames est plus large que l’autre). Pour
réduire le risque de choc électrique, cette fiche
ne peut être insérée dans une prise polarisée.
Si la fiche ne s’insère pas complètement dans
la prise, inversez-la. Si le problème persiste,
contactez un électricien qualifié. Ne modifiez
pas la fiche de quelque manière que ce soit.
• Le cordon le plus long doit être disposé de
manière à ne pas se poser sur le comptoir ou
la table où il peut être tiré par des enfants ou
trébuché par inadvertance.

14” Rapid Skillet with TruGlide Pro™ Stainless Steel Rack
Before first use, ensure that all parts of the Stainless Steel Rack and Zakarian 14” Rapid Skillet are
clean and wiped down.
The Stainless Steel Rack can be used to steam items inside the Skillet. It is not designed for use in
an oven or other cooking appliance.
In order to steam food in the Skillet using the Stainless Steel Rack, first add several cups of wa-
ter to the Skillet's TruGlide Pro™ Cooking Surface. Insert the Control Probe into the Control Probe
Socket and plug in the Skillet. Turn the Temperature Control Dial to medium.
Add the Stainless Steel Rack to the Skillet, place the food you wish to steam on the Rack, and cov-
er with the Tempered Glass Lid. Heat until food is steamed to your liking.
When removing cooked food from the Skillet, be sure to use heat-safe utensils and gloves, as the
Rack and Lid, as well as the steam itself, may be hot. Do not directly touch the Stainless Steel Rack,
water, or cooking surface.
Use only silicone, wood, or nylon utensils on the Cooking Surface to preserve the TruGlide Pro™
coating.
After using, unplug the Skillet and wait to cool before removing the Stainless Steel Rack. Clean,
dry, and store in a cool, dry place. The Stainless Steel Rack is dishwasher safe, however the rest of
the Skillet is NOT dishwasher safe.
