Warnings

•The appliance must be installed by a qualied technician, in compliance with the manufacturer’s
instrucons and in compliance with current local standards. The installer is responsible for the
installaon of the appliance and the compliance with Naonal regulaons in maers of installaon.
Under no circumstances can the manufacturer be held liable in the event that local installaon
standards are not respected.

•It is important that this appliance be handled by skilled and apt persons (physically and mentally)
having received the instrucons for use beforehand (by reading these instrucons). All persons not

•Do not release R410A coolant liquid into the atmosphere. This is a uoride greenhouse eect gas
covered by the Kyoto agreement with a global warming potenal (GWP) = 1975 - (see the European
Community regulaons on uoride greenhouse eect gases Direcve EC 842/2006).
•This heat pump is compable with all types of water treatment.
•keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
• General delivery terms and condions : all equipment, even postage and packing paid, travels at
the risks and perils of the recipient. The laer must make wrien reserves on the transporter’s
delivery documents if damage during transport is discovered (conrmed by registered leer to the
transporter within 48 hours). If the appliance has been pped over, make wrien reserves to the
transporter.

1. Installaon
Do not li the appliance using the casing, handle it from the base.
1.1 Technical specicaons
• Operang range from -12 °C to 40 °C air temperature, and from 10 °C to 32 °C water temperature,
• class: I,
• polluon degree: 2,
• power surge class: II
• power supply cable size: for a maximum length of 20 metres (calculaon on the basis of: 5A/mm²), must be checked and
suitable for the installaon condions.

1.2 Accessing the technical compartment

1.3 Selecon of the locaon
The appliance must be installed outside and have clearance space around it (see §1.4).
• the heat pump must be installed at a minimum distance from the pool coping in order to avoid any projecons of spray
onto the appliance. This distance is determined by the electric standards applicable locally (In France: 3.5 metres).
• the heat pump must not be installed:
-close to a heat source or to a source of inammable gas,
-close to a road with a risk of water or mud being sprayed,
-close to a guer that could overow onto it,
-with the blower outlet towards a permanent or temporary obstacle (awning, branches…) at less than one metre.
• install on a stable, solid (concrete slab for example) and level surface,
• protect from the risk of ooding by the condensate produced by the appliance when it is running.
The an-vibraon pads are built into the heat pump base. They are height adjustable. We recommend slightly
sloping the appliance towards the rear for beer condensate drainage.

Follow the hydraulic connecon direcon (see § «Dimensions» in the appendix).
The piping must be supported.
• Connecon must use Ø50 PVC rigid pressure piping, from a bypass, on the pool lter circuit, aer the lter and before
water treatment.
• Installing a by-pass is mandatory and facilitates operaons on the appliance.
• Make sure the hydraulic ngs are correctly ghtened and that there are no leaks.
Condensate drainage: warning, your appliance can release several litres
of water per day; it is highly recommended to connect the drainage to the
drains.
Connect an interior Ø18 pipe (not supplied), to the corrugated angle to be
ed under the appliance base (orientable outlet).
1.5 Electric connecons
1.5.1 Voltage and protecon
• the heat pump’s power supply must come from a protecon and cut-o device (not included) which is compliant with
the country’s applicable standards and regulaons,
• addional protecon may be required on installaon to guarantee power surge category II,
• the machine is designed to be connected to a power supply using a neutral TT and TN.S wiring system,
• electric protecon: using a circuit breaker (D curve) or a fuse (calibre 16A see § 1.1), with a separate 30 mA ground fault
circuit breaker (circuit breaker or switch).
• the electricity supply connecon ducng must be stac,
• acceptable voltage variaon: ± 6% (when running),
• use cables suitable for outside use of the H07RN-F type, and of an outer diameter included between 9 and 18
mm,
• use the cable gland to pass the power supply cable into the appliance.
1.5.2 Connecons
• The electric power supply cable must be isolated from all sharp or hot elements that could damage or crush it.
• With the power o, check that the power cable is properly connected to the connecon terminal
• Loose terminals can cause the terminal block to heat and lead to the warranty being voided.
• It is imperave to connect the appliance to an earth rod.
• Risk of electric shocks inside the appliance.
• Only a qualied and experienced technician is authorised to wire inside the appliance.
• If the power supply cable is damaged it should be replaced by a qualied technician.
1.5.3 Remote control panel
The heat pump control panel can be installed at a distance from the appliance. To do this, use the remote control kit
(plasc cover + metal holder + RJ11/RJ45 cable extension, see kit instrucon to install).
1.5.4 Connecng opons
• use cables with a cross secon of: 2x0.75 mm² at least, of the H07RN-F type, and of an outer diameter included between
8 and 13 mm
Remove the cover (above the cable gland) and install the supplied cable gland to pass the cabling into the
appliance. The opons cables and the power supply cable must be supported separately (risk of interference)
using a cable e inside the appliance just aer the cable glands.
Any incorrect connecons to terminals 1 to 12 may damage the regulator and void its warranty.
The ltering pump motor should not, under any circumstances, be directly supplied from terminals 11-12.
If there is any intervenon on terminals 1 to 12 there is a risk of electric current being returned.

Alarm:
• Funcon: connect a relay to the alarm contact,
• using a dry contact
• between terminals 1-2 (220-240V 2A maximum when the alarm is on),
Remote «on/o» command:
• Funcon: connect a remote «on/o» buon.
• using a potenal-free, no polarity 220-240V ~ 50Hz contact,
• connect the cable to the terminal block between terminals 9-10.
Heang priority:
• Funcon: coupling to trigger the ltering pump (temperature test at least 5 minutes every hour, with ltering kept
running if the pool temperature is less than the requested temperature).
• using a dry contact (no polarity I max. = 8 A)
• between terminals 11-12.

2.2 Starng up the appliance
• Check that there are no more tools or any other foreign objects in the machine,
• The panel to access the technical part must be ed,
• The bypass and sengs valves (see §1.4) must be posioned as follows:
- valve 1 fully open,
- valves 2, 3, 4 and 5 closed
Incorrect bypass sengs can cause the heat pump to malfuncon.
• Start up water circulaon,
• Gradually shut o valve 1 to increase the lter pressure by 150g (0.150 bars),
• Fully open valves 2, 3 and 4, then open valve 5 half way (see §1.4) (the air accumulated in the heat pump condenser
and the ltering circuit will be drained o),
If valves 4 and 5 are not present, open valve 2 fully and close valve 3 half way.
• Turn on the heat pump electricity supply,
• If the heat pump is on stand-by, press , for 3 seconds, the start-up screen will display for 4 seconds, then the home
screen displays, a two minute count down will start.
Set the set point temperature:
• Press to increase the temperature by 0.5 °C,
• Press to lower the temperature by 0.5 °C,
When the pool reaches the required temperature, the heat pump stops automacally.

2.3.5 Seng the me

2.3.6 Languages

2.4 Checks to carry out once the appliance is running
The heat pump must stop when:
• the set point temperature on the regulator is set below the water temperature,
• ltering is stopped, or when valves 2 or 3 are closed,
• the heat pump is powered o by pressing 3 seconds on .
3. Maintenance
3.1 Wintering
Wintering is imperave, failure to do so exposes the condenser to a risk of freezing, this case is not covered
by the warranty.
To avoid condensaon damaging the appliance, do not cover it hermecally, a wintering cover is available as
an opon.
• Put the regulator in «stand-by» mode by pressing for three seconds, then cut the power supply,
• Open valve 1,
• Close valves 2 and 3 open valves 4 and 5 (if present),
• Make sure there is no water ow in the heat pump,
• Drain the water condenser by unscrewing the two pool water intake and discharge couplings behind the heat pump,
• In the event of full pool wintering: screw the two ngs back on a full turn, to avoid foreign bodies from entering the
condenser,
• In the event of wintering the heat pump only: do not screw the ngs back on, instead t 2 caps (supplied see
appendices) to the condenser water intake and discharge.
• Install a micro venlated wintering cover on the heat pump (accessory available as an opon, see appendices).
