Yourphone’sbatteryshouldhaveenoughpowerforthe
phonetoturnon,findasignal,andmakeafewcalls.You
shouldfullychargethebatteryassoonaspossible.

useofunapprovedaccessoriescoulddamageyourphoneor
causethebatterytoexplode.
NOTE:
Toachievefastcharging,youcanusetheoriginalchargerand
USBType‐Ccablewhenchargingyourphone.

Donotremovethebackcover.Thebatteryisnot
removable.Removalmaycausefireorexplosion.
1. Connecttheadaptertothechargingjack.
2. ConnectthechargertoastandardACpoweroutlet.
3. Disconnectthechargerwhenthebatteryisfully
charged.

Ifthebatteryisextremelylow,youmaybeunabletopower
onthephoneevenwhenitisbeingcharged.Inthiscase,try

againafterchargingthephoneforatleast20minutes.
Contactthecustomerserviceifyoustillcannotpoweronthe

PoweringOn/OffYourPhone
Makesurethebatteryischargedbeforepoweringon.
PressandholdthePowerkeytoturnonyourphone.
Topoweroff,pressandholdthePowerkeytoopenthe
optionsmenu,andtouch>.
NOTE:
Ifthescreenfreezesortakestoolongtorespond,trypressing
andholdingthePowerkeyforover10secondstorestartthe
phone.
WakingUpYourPhone
Yourphoneautomaticallygoesintosleepmodewhenitis
notinuseforsometime.Thedisplayisturnedofftosave
powerandthekeysarelockedtopreventaccidental
operations.
Youcanwakeupyourphonebyturningonthedisplayand
unlockingthekeys.
1. PressthePowerkeytoturnthescreenon.
2. Swipeuponthescreen.
NOTE:
Ifyouhavesetafaceverification,afingerprint,anunlock
pattern,aPINorapasswordforyourphone,you’llneedto
useyourfaceorfingerprint,drawthepattern,orenterthe
PIN/passwordtounlockyourscreen.

DuringSARtesting,thisdevicewassettotransmitatits
highestcertifiedpowerlevelinalltestedfrequencybands,
andplacedinpositionsthatsimulateRFexposureinusage
againsttheheadwithnoseparation,andnearthebodywith
theseparationof10mm.AlthoughtheSARisdeterminedat
thehighestcertifiedpowerlevel,theactualSARlevelofthe
devicewhileoperatingcanbewellbelowthemaximumvalue.
Thisisbecausethephoneisdesignedtooperateatmultiple
powerlevelssoastouseonlythepowerrequiredtoreachthe
network.Ingeneral,thecloseryouaretoawirelessbase
stationantenna,thelowerthepoweroutput.
Theexposurestandardforwirelessdevicesemployingaunit
ofmeasurementisknownastheSpecificAbsorptionRate,or
SAR.TheSARlimitsetbytheFCCis1.6W/kg.
ThisdeviceiscompliedwithSARforgeneral
population/uncontrolledexposurelimitsinANSI/IEEE
C95.1‐1992andhadbeentestedinaccordancewiththe
measurementmethodsandproceduresspecifiedin
IEEE1528.
TheFCChasgrantedanEquipmentAuthorizationforthis
modelphonewithallreportedSARlevelsevaluatedasin
compliancewiththeFCCRFexposureguidelines.SAR

WhiletheremaybedifferencesbetweentheSARlevelsof
variousphonesandatvariouspositions,theyallmeetthe
governmentrequirements.
SARcomplianceforbody‐wornoperationisbasedona
separationdistanceof10mmbetweentheunitandthe
humanbody.Carrythisdeviceatleast10mmawayfromyour
bodytoensureRFexposurelevelcompliantorlowertothe
reportedlevel.Tosupportbody‐wornoperation,choosethe
beltclipsorholsters,whichdonotcontainmetallic
components,tomaintainaseparationof10mmbetweenthis
deviceandyourbody.
RFexposurecompliancewithanybody‐wornaccessory,
whichcontainsmetal,wasnottestedandcertified,andusing
suchbody‐wornaccessoryshouldbeavoided.
FCCRegulations
Thisdevicecomplieswithpart15oftheFCCRules.Operation
issubjecttothefollowingtwoconditions:(1)Thisdevicemay
notcauseharmfulinterference,and(2)thisdevicemust
acceptanyinterferencereceived,includinginterferencethat
maycauseundesiredoperation.
Thisequipmenthasbeentestedandfoundtocomplywith
thelimitsforaClassBdigitaldevice,pursuanttopart15of
theFCCRules.Theselimitsaredesignedtoprovide
reasonableprotectionagainstharmfulinterferenceina
residentialinstallation.Thisequipmentgenerates,usesand
canradiateradiofrequencyenergyand,ifnotinstalledand
usedinaccordancewiththeinstructions,maycauseharmful
interferencetoradiocommunications.However,thereisno
guaranteethatinterferencewillnotoccurinaparticular
installation.Ifthisequipmentdoescauseharmful
interferenceto139radioortelevisionreception,whichcanbe
determinedbyturningtheequipmentoffandon,theuseris

encouragedtotrytocorrecttheinterferencebyoneormore
ofthefollowingmeasures:
Reorientorrelocatethereceivingantenna.
Increasetheseparationbetweentheequipmentandreceiver.
Connecttheequipmentintoanoutletonacircuitdifferent
fromthattowhichthereceiverisconnected.
Consultthedealeroranexperiencedradio/TVtechnicianfor
help.
