• Press and hold to power on, select phone
modes, turn on/off airplane mode, restart, or
power off.
• Press to turn off or on the screen display.
Home Key
• Touch to return to the Home screen from any
application or screen.
• Touch and hold when the screen is not
locked to open Google Search.
Menu Key
• Touch to get the options for the current
screen.
•
Touch and hold to see recently used apps.
Back Key
Touch to go to the previous screen.
Volume Key
Press or hold either end of the key to turn the
volume up or down.

Before Getting Started
Power off your phone and remove the battery
before installing or removing the micro-SIM card.
And power off your phone before removing or
replacing the battery.
1. Remove the back cover.
2. Hold the micro-SIM card with the cut corner
oriented as shown and slip it into the card
holder.
3. Hold the microSD card with the metal
contacts facing downwards and the cut edge
oriented as shown. Push the card into the
card slot until it clicks into position. You may
hear a click when the card clicks into the
slot.

NOTE: Some applications may require
a microSD card to work normally or may
store certain data on it. Therefore, it is
recommended that you keep a microSD
card installed and not remove or replace it
randomly.
NOTE: To remove the microSD card, push
the card so it clicks out, and then pull it
completely out from the slot.
4. Insert the battery by aligning the metal
contacts on the battery with the metal
contacts in the battery compartment. Gently
push down on the battery until it clicks into
place.
5. Press the cover gently back into place until
you hear a click.

Charging the Battery
When you rst get your new phone you’ll need to
charge the battery.
WARNING! Use only ZTE-approved chargers
and cables. The use of unapproved accessories
could damage your phone or cause the battery
to explode.
1. Connect the adapter to the charger jack.
2. Connect the charger to a standard AC wall
outlet.
3. Disconnect the charger when the battery is
fully charged.
Powering On/Off
Make sure the SIM card is in your phone and the
battery is charged.
• Press and hold the Power Key to turn on
your phone.
• To turn it off, press and hold the Power Key
to open the options menu. Touch Power off
and then touch OK.
CAUTION: Do not touch the Volume Key when
powering on the phone.

Restarting the Phone
If the phone freezes or takes too long to respond,
try pressing and holding the Power Key for
about 8 seconds to restart the phone.
Waking Up Your Phone
Your phone automatically goes into sleep mode
when it is not in use for some time. The display is
turned off to save power and the keys are locked
to prevent accidental operations.
You can wake up phone by turning on the display
and unlocking the keys.
1. Press the Power Key to turn the screen on.
2. Touch and hold at the center of the
screen.
NOTE: If you have set an unlock pattern, long
press, face lock, PIN or password for your
phone, you’ll need to draw the pattern or enter
the PIN/password to unlock.
Using the Touch Screen
Your phone’s touch screen lets you control
actions through a variety of touch gestures.
• Touch
When you want to type using the onscreen
keyboard, select items onscreen such as
application and settings icons, or press
onscreen buttons, simply touch them with
your nger.
• Touch and Hold
To open the available options for an item (for
example, a message or link in a Web page),
touch and hold the item.

• Swipe or Slide
To swipe or slide means to quickly drag your
nger vertically or horizontally across the
screen.
• Drag
To drag, press and hold your nger with
some pressure before you start to move
your nger. While dragging, do not release
your nger until you have reached the target
position.
• Pinch
In some apps (such as Maps, Browser,
and Gallery), you can zoom in and out by
placing two ngers on the screen at once
and pinching them together (to zoom out) or
spreading them apart (to zoom in).
• Rotate the screen
For most screens, you can automatically
change the screen orientation from portrait
to landscape by turning the phone sideways.

Touche Retour
Appuyez sur cette touche pour revenir à l’écran
précédent.
Touche Volume
Appuyez sur ou maintenez appuyée une des
extrémités du bouton pour augmenter ou dimi-
nuer le volume.
Avant de commencer
Eteignez votre téléphone et retirez la batterie
avant d’installer ou de retirer la carte micro-SIM.
Eteignez toujours votre téléphone avant de reti-
rer ou de remplacer la batterie.
1. Retirez le cache arrière.
2. Tenez la carte micro-SIM en orientant la face
biseautée comme illustré, puis insérez-la
dans le logement prévu à cet effet.

3. Tenez la carte microSD avec les contacts
métalliques vers le bas et le bord indenté
comme indiqué. Poussez la carte dans le
logement jusqu’à ce qu’elle s’enclenche.
La carte peut émettre un clic quand elle
s’enclenche.
REMARQUE : certaines applications
peuvent nécessiter une carte microSD pour
fonctionner normalement ou pour stocker
des données. Il est donc recommandé de
conserver une carte microSD installée et de
ne pas la retirer ou la remplacer de façon
impromptue.
REMARQUE : pour retirer la carte microSD,
poussez-la dans logement. Elle ressort et
vous pouvez alors la saisir pour l’extraire
complètement du logement.
4. Insérez la batterie en alignant les contacts
métalliques situés sur la batterie avec
les contacts métalliques situés dans
le compartiment à batterie. Appuyez
légèrement sur la batterie jusqu’à ce qu’elle
s’enclenche.

5. Remettez le cache arrière en place et
appuyez doucement dessus jusqu’à ce que
vous entendiez un clic.
Chargement de la batterie
Lorsque vous recevez votre nouveau téléphone,
vous devez charger la batterie.
AVERTISSEMENT Utilisez exclusivement des
chargeurs et câbles approuvés par ZTE. L'utilisa-
tion d'accessoires non autorisés peuvent endom-
mager votre téléphone, voire causer l'explosion
de la batterie.

Connectez l'adaptateur à la prise du chargeur.
2. Branchez le chargeur sur une prise murale
standard.
3. Lorsque la batterie est complètement char-
gée, débranchez le chargeur.

Mise sous/hors tension
Assurez-vous que la carte SIM est présente dans
le téléphone et que la batterie est chargée.
• Appuyez longuement sur la touche Marche/
Arrêt pour allumer votre téléphone.
• Pour l'arrêter, appuyez longuement sur la
touche Marche/Arrêt pour ouvrir le menu
d'options. Appuyez sur Power off (Eteindre),
puis sur OK.
ATTENTION : ne manipulez pas la touche Vo-
lume lors de la mise sous tension du téléphone.
Redémarrage du téléphone
Si le téléphone se bloque ou prend du temps
pour réagir, appuyez sur la touche Marche/Arrêt
durant environ 8 secondes pour redémarrer le
téléphone.
Sortie de veille de votre
téléphone
Votre téléphone passe automatiquement en
veille lorsqu'il reste inutilisé durant une période
dénie. L'écran s'éteint pour économiser la bat-
terie et le clavier est verrouillé pour empêcher
toute utilisation inintentionnelle.
Pour sortir l'appareil de veille, activez l'écran ou
débloquez le clavier.
1. Appuyez sur la touche Marche-Arrêt pour
verrouiller l'écran.
2. Maintenez enfoncée l'icône au centre de
l'écran.
