Introduction
This door station is equipped with a high resolution colour CCD camera
sensor,with a wide angle of view (1050). White LEDsenable the door station
to work efciently at night. The door station facia is made of black plexiglass
or stainless steel,with additional rain cover for better protection against
water. There are both 1or 2- push call button versions. A large name label slot
with white backlight is covered with a fully secured and ameproof glass

Lock Control Jumper: To program electric lock type
Door Station Code DIP: To program address for up to 4 door stations
T/R+,T/R- :USB-RS485 communication terminal
Main Connection Port: To connect the bus line and the electrick
locks (up to 2)
BUS (Blue&Green): Connect to the bus line, no-polarity
PL (White):Additional power supply for the lock input, connect to the power
positive(power +)
S1+(Yellow): The rst lock power (+) output
S2+(Red):The second lock power (+) output
S- (Black):Lock power(-) output

Use a screwdriver to loosen
the screw, adjust the angle of
the camera then tighten the
screw
Do not mount door station close to the powerful light or exposed to the
sunshine. It may cause over-exposed video
Installation Steps:
Installation height for door station approximately 145~160cm
1. Pic. 1 Use screws to mount the rain cover (if mounting with rain cover)
to the wall.Connect all the cables. Mount body of door station to the rain
cover.
2. Pic.2 Attach the facia with screws supplied

Maximum 4 Door Station can be connected. Requires an additional DBC4A Distributor
Programming by DIP-switches as shown on the
diagram, enables ‘Intercom by namelist’-
intercom between two specific rooms at a time.
‘Alternatively, program as ‘Master/Slaves’ for
‘Inner Call’ intercom- all monitors involved in
the intercom call until one answers

Electric Lock Connection
Lock/s can be powered from Door Station if:
connect one lock connect two locks
1. Electric lock is ‘Power-on-to-unlock’
2. The lock is 12V, and holding current is less than 250mA
3. The lock control is not timed from Exit Button (EB)
The ‘Unlock Mode’Parameter would be 0 (default, no need extra
programming)

Automated Gates and Magnetic Locks
1. Connect low voltage box of the gates according digram below
2. Additional power supply for Magnetic lock according lock specs
The ‘Unlock Mode’Parameter for ‘Power-on-to-unlock’ would be 0 (default, no
need extra programming)
The ‘Unlock Mode’Parameter for ‘Power-off-to-unlock’ would be 1 (needs
extra programming via monitor “Installer Setup”)
Up to 2 x Electric locks can be connected and opened independently. Note: both
locks must be the same type, i.e. 2 of Power-on-to-unlock or 2 of Power-off-to-
unlock

Installation settings:
Using the keypad, type in following codes:
8010 # for Power-on-to-unlock mode
8011 # for Power-off-to-unlock mode
Next step is to set unlocking time. Refer to the Installer Setup info or to the
monitor manual because codes are different for different models.
NOTE: Locks must be connected before programming. Programming should
be done on one monitor only. Settings will be synced with door station

Settings can be done either before or after installation
There are 6 DIP switches on the rear of Video Monitor and they are used to
configure the User Code for each monitor. Use Tables on page 10 for
programming monitor User Codes. DIP swith 6 is End of Line switch, which
has to be set ‘On’ on all monitors connected via Star with DBC4A
