9 Warranty and liability
9.1 Warranty
The warranty of the max-e amounts to 24 months (6 months for the batte-
ries) from the date of purchase. It covers errors of production and in the
material.
The waranty does not cover:
•parts of natural wear and tear
•damage done resulting from inappropriate use
•damage done resulting from overstraining the device
•violent damage
•unauthorized alterations done or additions made on the max-e
9.2 Liability
The manufacturer AAT Alber Antriebstechnik GmbH is not responsible for
the safety of the max-e if:
•the max-e was handled inappropriately
•the max-e was not checked every 2 years by your dealer or AAT repre-
sentatives
•the max-e was not operated in accordance with this operator's manu-
al
•the max-e was operated without sufficient battery charge
•repairs and/or other work have been performed by persons unauthori-
zed by AAT
•extraneous parts have been added or connected to the max-e
•parts of the max-e have been removed.
