For manual mixing pro ucts we recommen the
installation of a separate TMV2 pro uct to re uce the
risk of acci ental scal ing.
All thermostatic pro ucts shoul be teste an cleane
at least once a year.
Hot an col supply pressures shoul be as closely
balance as possible for best results. Supply pipes
shoul maintain the maximum iameter until
imme iately before the fitting. The ifferential between
the hot an col water supply temperatures shoul be
sufficient to allow correct mixing function.

supplies.

efect in the materials or workmanship of your new
Abo e tap within FIVE years of purchase, the
purchaser’s sole reme y shall be the replacement
(at the manufacturer’s iscretion) of all or any part of
the pro uct that is efective. All working parts an
valves are guarantee for a perio of FIVE years
from purchase. Decorative surface finishes an O-
rings are guarantee for ONE year from the ate of
purchase provi e that our a vice concerning care
has been observe an no scouring agents have
been use .
This is provi e that the tap has been use for
normal omestic purposes in the UK an that the
care, installation an maintenance instructions have
been observe . The warranty exten s to the original
purchaser only. You shoul retain a copy of your
ate invoice as proof of purchase to vali ate any

Marks, scuffs an scratches cause by improper
installation or acci ental amage are not covere by

Care Instructions for your Basin/Bath Mixer
To maintain the appearance of this tap, ensure that it is regularly cleane only using a clean, soft amp cloth. A
solution of warm water an a mil liqui etergent may be use where necessary, an then the fitting rinse
thoroughly an wipe ry. Any other cleaning action or cleaning pro ucts will invali ate your warranty.
If the pro uct has a removable spout iffuser it can be unscrewe an cleane perio ically in warm water to maintain
flow.
Abrasive cleaners, scouring cleaners, limescale cleaners an aci ic cleaners must not be use un er any
circumstances. Avoi contact with all solvents (inclu ing chlorinate solvents, ketones or acetones as these may
result in surface eterioration or etching). Also avoi contact with any harsh househol chemicals such as bleach
cleaners, rain cleaners, rust removers, paint strippers an toilet bowl cleaners, toothpaste, mouthwash, bar keepers
frien or Brasso.

Preparation
All parts shoul be remove from their packaging an inspecte for any transport amage an completeness prior to
installation; you shoul rea these instructions throughout before commencing installation.
We o not accept responsibility for problems that may occur through improper installation. Always ensure you have
sufficient hot an col water pressure available to allow correct function before specifying or installing this pro uct.
Before installing the new mixer it is essential that you thoroughly flush through the supply pipes in or er to remove
any remaining sol er, swarf or impurities from your system. Failure to carry out this simple proce ure coul cause
problems or amage to the workings of the pro uct.
We strongly recommen installing particle filters an isolation valves to both the hot an col fee pipes in an
accessible position. This will help to prevent premature failure of the valves an ease any future maintenance.
All serviceable parts shoul be given suitable access to allow easy future maintenance.
Shut off your water heating system an ensure that your mains stopcock is close . Ensure both the hot an col
water supplies are isolate before commencing installation.

1. Open the wall / ceiling out to the require wi th an epth for supply pipe (F) an elbow (D).
 All serviceable parts shoul be given suitable access to allow easy future maintenance.
 You shoul ensure that both the pro uct an require fittings will fit into the epth an area of the
mounting surface available before installation. Roughly assemble the pro uct an plumbing
connections to establish the require sizes ‘A-C’.

2. Fix elbow (D) or inlet pipes (F) securely to the wall using appropriate fixings (G). Note these fixings shoul be
secure enough to support the attache pro uct weight (A) safely uring use.
 Before installing this new connection, it is essential that you thoroughly flush through the supply
pipes in or er to remove any remaining sol er, swarf or impurities from your system. Failure to carry out
this simple proce ure coul cause problems or amage to the workings of any attache pro uct an
invali ate the warranty.
3. Make goo the finishe surface (E) using tiles or similar, now prepare hole ‘C’ in the tiles. Ensure back plate (B)
will cover the finishe hole iameter ‘C’.
4. Insert foam seal (C) insi e the back of back plate (B) as shown.
5. Once inserte sli e back plate (B) over spout (A) as shown ensuring pre-inserte O-ring insi e back plate (B) is
in place.
6. Screw the spout (A) into the elbow (D) using PTFE tape or sealing compoun to ensure a water tight connection.
Test the water tightness of all inlet pipes an connections before progressing with the installation.
7. Watchfully Seal aroun the finishe wall surface (E) an back plate (B) if applicable to prevent water ingress into
the wall. Note take care not to apply sealant to sections of threa on the spout (A) that are require for fixing
later.

1. Deci e on a suitable position for the mixer
where all users can operate.
2. Determine the route for the incoming Hot (J1),
Col (J1) an Outlet (J3).
*Note: Connectors (J1, J2 & J3) are not included. The
product can be fitted as both a basin mixer and a bath
filler so the connectors should be chosen to suit this.
3. Connect the hot an col fee s to the chosen
connectors (JL & J2).
4. Connect outlet (J3) to spout supply (F)
5. Check the connections are water tight an
then finish the tiling to the final aperture size.
*Note: Pipe clips should be fitted on all three control
pipes (Hot, Cold and Outlet) to position and stabilise
it.
6. When the tiles have set, remove a iscar the
plastic protection cover (I).
7. Insert foam seal (K) insi e the back of back
plate (L).
8. Once inserte sli e back plate (L) over
ecorative part of back bo y (H) as shown
ensuring pre-inserte O-ring insi e back plate
(L) is in place.
9. Once in place fix han le (M) to the back bo y
(H) by tightening grub screw (O).

After installation
Once you have visually checke the installation of the new tap an all connections, ensure that all other fittings are
close except the tap which shoul be left open.
Turn on your water heating system an ensure that your mains stopcock is open. Reconnect both the hot an col
water supplies to this fitting.
Check the function of flow an function of hot, col an mixe water.
Turn off the tap an check carefully for any leaks aroun all connections on the fitting an a joining plumbing.
If possible return to the installation after a longer perio to ouble check for slower leaks. If pressure testing
equipment is available check the installation to the maximum recommen e pressure.
Clean the tap to remove any marks create uring installation as instructe then place a bag over the pro uct to
protect the tap until it is rea y for use.
Maintenance
Val e replacement
1. First shut off the water supply to the mixer.
2. Remove ust cap (N) an remove han le (M) by loosening grub screw (O).
3. Unscrew ecorative cover (P).
4. Unscrew valve locking nut (Q) using a spanner.
5. Remove the ol cartri ge (R).
6. Clean any ebris from the chamber of the mixer bo y (H).
7. Locate the new valve (R) into the tap chamber (B1); ensure the pegs on the valve (R) align with the
recess in the chamber of the mixer bo y (H).
8. Reassemble the han le assembly in the reverse or er.
Cleaning the Aerator
1. Unscrew Aerator (S) from spout (A) using Cache TT aerator key that is provi e .
2. Wash the aerator with clean warm running water, taking care not to lose the rubber washer.
3. Once the ebris has been remove screw back onto spout (A) using the aerator key.
