wir bedanken uns für den Kauf dieses PROFILINE Infrarotscheinwerfers der MEGA LED Serie. Mit diesem Gerät haben Sie
ein Produkt erworben, das nach dem heutigen Stand der Technik gebaut wurde. Dieses Produkt erfüllt die Anforderungen
der geltenden europäischen und nationalen Richtlinien. Die Konformität wurde nachgewiesen, die entsprechenden
Erklärungen und Unterlagen sind beim Hersteller (www.abus-sc.com) hinterlegt. Um diesen Zustand zu erhalten und einen
gefahrlosen Betrieb sicherzustellen, müssen Sie als Anwender die Hinweise dieser Anleitung beachten!
Die PROFILINE Infrarotscheinwerfer der MEGA LED Serie sind mit bis zu 294 leistungsstarken LEDs ausgestattet und
kommen immer dann zum Einsatz, wenn eine diskrete Beleuchtung für die Überwachung benötigt oder gewünscht wird. Die
Infrarotscheinwerfer dieser Serie bieten höchste Qualität und garantieren eine lange Lebenszeit von mehr als 50.000
Stunden. Die verwendeten erstklassigen elektronischen Bauteile lassen sich auch durch äußere elektromagnetische
Einflüsse nicht in Ihrer Funktionseigenschaft beeinflussen lassen. Somit bieten diese Infrarotscheinwerfer alle technischen
Voraussetzungen für den Aufbau einer professionellen Videoüberwachungsanlage. Die Infrarotscheinwerfer entsprechen
dem IP Standard 66 und sind daher für den Außen-als auch Inneneinsatz geeignet.

2. Sicherheitshinweis
Es handelt sich bei diesen Scheinwerfern um eine nicht sichtbare LED Strahlung. Dieses Gerät entspricht der LED Klasse
1M und wurde nach der EN 60825-7:2000 geprüft. Blicken Sie niemals direkt aus kurzer Distanz (1m) in den
Infrarotscheinwerfer. Vermeiden Sie es direkt mit optischen Geräten (Lupe) in den Scheinwerfer zu blicken.

5. Hinweise zum Einsatz von Infrarotscheinwerfern
9Infrarotscheinwerfer können als Beleuchtungsmittel nur in Verbindung mit infrarottauglichen S/W, bzw. Tag-/
Nachtkameras eingesetzt werden.
9Beim Einsatz von IR-Scheinwerfern kann es zu einem verschieben des Fokuspunktes der Kamera kommen (Focusshift).
Abhilfe bieten in einem solchen Fall IR-korrigierte Objektive.
9Die Reichweite der Infrarotscheinwerfer ist abhängig von der IR Empfindlichkeit des verwendeten Kameramodells. Die
angegebenen Reichweiten der MEGA LED IR-Scheinwerfer basieren auf Lichtempfindlichkeit der Kamera von 0,01 Lux.
9Gegenstände können bei IR-Licht ungewohnt wirken. So erscheint eine grüne Wiese bei Tageslicht eher dunkel. Bei
einer Infrarotbeleuchtung wird grünes Licht aber als nahezu weiß dargestellt.
9Wie für alle Beleuchtungsmittel gilt auch bei der Infrarotbeleuchtung der Grundsatz, dass die Beleuchtung so nahe wie
möglich an den zu überwachenden Bereich herangebracht werden sollte. Dabei ist die Leuchtrichtung der Blickrichtung
der Kamera anzupassen und eine Blendung der Kamera zu vermeiden.
9Reinigen Sie den Infrarotscheinwerfer in regelmäßigen Abständen (mindestens alle drei Monate), da die Leuchtkraft
durch eine verschmutzte Scheibe vermindert wird und die Kühlwirkung des Radiators abnimmt. Verwenden Sie zur
Reinigung keine scharfen Mittel, oder Alkohol. Am besten eignet sich Wasser mit ein wenig Spülmittel.
6. Montage des IR Scheinwerfers
Verwenden Sie zur Wand- und Deckenmontage den als optionales Zubehör erhältlichen Wand- / Deckenhalter. Gehen Sie
wie folgt vor:
1. Montieren Sie zunächst den Wand- und Deckenhalter mit den beiliegenden Schrauben am gewünschten Montageort.
2. Verbinden Sie den Infrarotscheinwerfer mit einer stabilisierten 12VDC Spannungsquelle mit ausreichender Leistung (je
nach Modell bis zu 36 Watt).
Achten Sie dabei auf die korrekte Polung (rot/braun (+), blau/schwarz ( – ).
3. Montieren Sie den Infrarotscheinwerfer auf den Wand- / Deckenhalter.
4. Richten Sie den Infrarotscheinwerfer aus und fixieren Sie die Position.

Dear Customer,
Thank you for purchasing this PROFILINE infrared illuminator of the MEGA LED series. You made the right decision in
choosing this state-of-the-art technology, which complies with the current standards of domestic and European regulations.
The CE has been proven and all related certifications are available from the manufacturer (www.abus-sc.com) upon request.
To maintain this status and to guarantee safe operation, it is your obligation to observe these instructions.
The PROFILINE infrared illuminators of the MEGA LED series are fitted with up to 294 powerful LEDs and are particularly
useful if discreet lighting is required or desired for surveillance. The infrared illuminators of this series offer highest quality
and guarantee a long life of more than 50,000 hours. The illuminator uses first-class microelements that are resistant to
external electromagnetic fields. These infrared illuminators offer cutting-edge technology for advanced video surveillance.
The infrared illuminators meet IP Standard 66 and are therefore suitable for use both indoors and outdoors.
2. Precautions
The LED light produced by these illuminators is not visible to the human eye. This equipment corresponds to LED class 1M
and has been tested according to EN 60825-7:2000. Never look directly into the infrared illuminator from a short distance
(1m). Do not use optical devices such as a magnifying glass to look directly at the illuminator.

5. Notes on using infrared illuminators
9Infrared illuminators as a lighting source can only be used together with infrared B/W or day/night cameras.
9When IR illuminators are used, there may be a camera focus shift. This can be avoided by the use of IR-corrected
lenses.
9The range of infrared illuminators depends on the IR sensitivity of the camera model used. The specified ranges of
the MEGA LED IR illuminators is based on a camera light sensitivity of 0.01 lux.
9Objects can appear unusual in IR light. For example, a green field appears dark in daylight (normal light). In
infrared light, however, green light appears almost white.
9As for all illumination sources, the infrared illuminators should be installed as near as possible to the area to be
monitored. Make sure that the light direction is adapted to the camera direction and does not dazzle the camera.
9Clean the infrared illuminator regularly (at least every three months) since the light strength is reduced by dirt and
the lamp cannot cool so effectively. Do not use any abrasive substances or alcohol for cleaning. Use water with a little
washing-up liquid.
6. Description of IR illuminator
For ceiling or wall installation, use the ceiling/wall bracket supplied as an optional accessory. Proceed as follows:
1. First fix the wall/ceiling bracket in the position required using the screws supplied.
2. Connect the infrared illuminator to a stabilised 12V DC power source with sufficient power (up to 36 Watt,
depending on the model).
Check for correct polarity: red/brown (+), blue/black (–).
3. Mount the infrared illuminator on the wall/ceiling bracket.
4. Adjust the direction of the infrared illuminator and fix the position.

déclarations et documents correspondants ont été déposés chez le fabricant (www.abus-sc.com). Pour que cette conformité
persiste et qu’un fonctionnement en toute sécurité puisse être assuré, lire attentivement les instructions du présent
document !
Les projecteurs infrarouges PROFILINE de la série MEGA LED sont équipés de jusqu’à 294 diodes électroluminescentes
puissantes et peuvent toujours être utilisés dans le cadre d'un éclairage discret nécessaire ou souhaité à des fins de
surveillance. Les projecteurs infrarouges de cette série fournissent une qualité maximale et assurent un service de longue
durée pouvant atteindre plus de 50.000 heures. Les composants électroniques de premier ordre utilisés ont des
caractéristiques de fonctionnement non altérées par des champs magnétiques extérieurs. De cette manière, ces projecteurs
infrarouges réunissent toutes les conditions préalables au montage d’un système professionnel de vidéosurveillance. Les
projecteurs infrarouges ont un indice de protection IP66 et sont ainsi idéals pour une utilisation en extérieur et en intérieur.
2. Consigne de sécurité
Il s’agit de projecteurs à rayonnement électroluminescent non visible. Un tel appareil est conforme à la classe LED 1M et sa
conformité a été vérifiée selon la norme EN 60825-7:2000. Ne jamais regarder de près (1 m) dans un projecteur infrarouge.
Eviter de regarder directement dans le projecteur avec des appareils optiques (une loupe).

5. Consignes d’utilisation de projecteurs infrarouges
9Les projecteurs infrarouges ne peuvent être utilisés comme éclairage que conjointement à des caméras jour/nuit ou noir
et blanc compatibles avec les infrarouges.
9Lors de l’utilisation de projecteurs infrarouges, un déplacement du point utilisé pour la mise au point peut se produire
(flou focal). Dans un tel cas, la solution consiste à utiliser des objectifs à correction infrarouge.
9La portée des projecteurs infrarouges dépend de la sensibilité infrarouge du modèle de caméra utilisé. Les portées
indiquées pour les projecteurs infrarouges MEGA LED sont axées sur une sensibilité de la caméra de 0,01 lux.
9Un éclairage infrarouge risque de donner un aspect insolite aux objets. De cette manière, un pré vert est plutôt sombre à
la lumière du jour. Dans le cadre d’un éclairage infrarouge, la lumière verte devient quasiment blanche.
9Comme pour toutes les sources lumineuses, le principe stipulant que l’éclairage doive être monté le plus près possible
de l’objet à surveiller est également applicable à un éclairage infrarouge. Dans ce cadre, il convient d’adapter l’angle de
visée de la caméra et d’éviter son éblouissement.
9Nettoyer le projecteur infrarouge à intervalles réguliers (au moins tous les trois mois), car une vitre sale réduit l’intensité
lumineuse et la puissance de refroidissement du radiateur. Pour le nettoyage, n'utiliser que des produits non abrasifs et
sans alcool. La meilleure solution consiste à utiliser de l’eau et un peu de produit vaisselle.
6. Montage du projecteur infrarouge
Pour un montage mural ou au plafond, utilisez le support correspondant disponible en tant qu’accessoire en option.
Procédez comme suit :
1. Montez d’abord le support de montage mural ou au plafond à l’endroit souhaité à l’aide des vis jointes
à la livraison.
2. Reliez le projecteur infrarouge à une source de courant stabilisée de 12 V c.c. assez puissante
(suivant le modèle, jusqu’à 36 watts).
Ce faisant, faites attention à ce que la polarité soit correcte (rouge/marron (+), bleu/noir ( – ).
3. Montez le projecteur infrarouge sur le support de montage mural/au plafond.
4. Orientez le projecteur infrarouge et fixez sa position.

De PROFILINE infraroodschijnwerpers van de serie MEGA LED zijn met tot wel 294 sterke LED’s uitgerust en treden steeds
dan in werking als een discrete verlichting voor de bewaking nodig of gewenst is. De infraroodschijnwerpers van deze serie
bieden een zeer hoge kwaliteit en garanderen een lange levensduur van meer dan 50.000 uur. De gebruikte eersteklas
elektronische componenten laten zich ook door externe elektromagnetische invloeden niet in hun functioneren beïnvloeden.
Daardoor bieden deze infraroodschijnwerpers alle technische voorwaarden voor het opbouwen van een professionele
videobewakingsinstallatie. De infraroodschijnwerpers voldoen aan de IP-norm 66 en zijn dus geschikt voor het gebruik
buiten en binnen.
2. Veiligheidstip
Het gaat bij deze schijnwerpers om een niet zichtbare LED-straling. Dit apparaat voldoet aan de LED-klasse 1M en werd
conform de EN 60825-7:2000 gekeurd. Kijk nooit direct vanaf een korte afstand (1m) in de infraroodschijnwerper. Voorkom
dat u direct met optische apparatuur (loep) in de schijnwerper kijkt.
