Für die Erstinbetriebnahme Ihres SmartX
Schlosses ist ein Bluetooth® - fähiges
Smartphone sowie die ABUS SmartX App
erforderlich.
Die Bedienung des Schlosses ist sowohl
mit einem Smartphone (Bluetooth® und
ABUS SmartX App) als auch mit der Fern-
bedienung ABUS SmartX RC möglich.
Maximal können 28 Benutzer angelegt
werden; auf das Schloss zugreifen kann
zur selben Zeit jeweils ein Benutzer.
Mit der ABUS SmartX RC Fernbedienung
lassen sich alle Schlösser der ABUS
SmartX-Serie bedienen.
Die Fernbedienung dient als Alternative
zur Smartphone-Nutzung. Die manuellen
Aktionen am jeweiligen Schloss müssen
zusätzlich ausgeführt werden, wie in der
Anleitung des Schlosses beschrieben.

• Laden Sie die ABUS SmartX App herunter
und aktivieren Sie Bluetooth®an Ihrem
Smartphone.
• Starten Sie die App und folgen Sie den
Anweisungen in der App.
• Bewahren Sie die ABUS Keycard
unbedingt auch nach dem Einlernvor-
gang an einem sicheren Ort auf! Sie
benötigen die Keycard für Soware-
Updates, bei Verlust des Smartphones
sowie als Eigentumsnachweis bei
Gewährleistungsansprüchen und
Reparatur. Geben Sie die Karte nicht an
Dritte weiter.

Erstinbetriebnahme der Fernbedienung
Zum Einlernen der Fernbedienung benöti-
gen Sie die ABUS SmartX App.
• Entfernen Sie den Batterieschutzstreifen
• Das SmartX Schloss muss bereits mit der
SmartX App eingelernt sein
• Am Smartphone muss die App geönet
sowie Bluetooth®und Standortdienste
eingeschaltet sein
• Zwischen Smartphone und Schloss muss
eine Bluetooth®-Verbindung bestehen
• Wählen Sie in der App die Funktion
„Zubehör hinzufügen“ und folgen Sie
den Anweisungen in der App
• Nach dem Einlernen bendet sich die
Fernbedienung im „manuellen Betrieb“:
das SmartX Schloss lässt sich per Knopf-
druck mit der Fernbedienung bedienen.
Bedienung der Fernbedienung
1. manueller Modus:
Die Fernbedienung sendet nur nach
Tastendruck (Sendedauer ca. 5 Sekunden).
Zur Bestätigung blinkt die LED 1x grün.
2. Modus wechseln (manuell < >
automatisch)
Halten Sie die Taste für ca. 5-15 Sekunden
gedrückt um den Modus zu wechseln.
Lassen Sie die Taste los, wenn die LED kurz
grün aulinkt: Der Modus wird gewech-
selt.
Wird die Taste länger als 15 Sekunden
gedrückt, erfolgt kein Modus-
wechsel, da z.B. ein unbeabsichtig-
tes dauerhaes Drücken durch einen
Gegenstand im Rucksack der Grund
gewesen sein kann.
LED-Signalisierung wenn Modus gewech-
selt wurde:
manuell > automatisch blinkt 5x grün
automatisch > manuell leuchtet grün
für ca. 3 Sek.
3. automatischer Modus:
Die Fernbedienung sendet bei Bewegung
(Sendedauer nach letzter Bewegung für
ca. 8 Sekunden).
Zusätzlich sendet die Fernbedienung nach
Tastendruck (Sendedauer ca. 5 Sekunden).
Zur Bestätigung blinkt die LED 2x grün.
4. Batterie schwach (Low Batt):
Wird die Batterieleistung schwach, wech-
selt die Fernbedienung aus energetischen
Gründen in den manuellen Modus.

- Das Schloss önet nicht:
→ Spannungsversorgung ist nicht gege-
ben (z.B. Batterie der Fernbedienung
leer)

reagiert nur das erste erreichbare
Schloss
- Automatik-Modus der Fernbedienung
ohne Funktion:
→ die Batterie der Fernbedienung ist leer
- sehr lange Zeitspanne bis zum Önen
des Schlosses (größer 5 Sekunden):
→ Batterie oder Akku des Schlosses ist
leer, bitte Batterie umgehend

Entsorgung
Entsorgen Sie eine beschädigte oder nicht
mehr benötigte Fernbedienung nicht mit
dem normalen Haushaltsabfall. Entsorgen
Sie das Produkt gemäß der Elektro- und
Elektronik-Altgeräte EG Richtlinie 2012/19/
EU – WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment). Bei Rückfragen wenden Sie
sich an die für die Entsorgung zuständige
kommunale Behörde. Informationen zu
Rücknahmestellen für Ihre Altgeräte erhal-
ten Sie z.B. bei der örtlichen Gemeinde-
bzw. Stadtverwaltung, den örtlichen Mül-
lentsorgungsunternehmen oder bei Ihrem

Gewährleistung
ABUS Produkte sind mit größter Sorgfalt

instruction on how to use it.
A Bluetooth®-enabled smartphone and
the ABUS SmartX app are required in order
to start your SmartX lock for the rst time.
The lock can be operated with either a
smartphone (Bluetooth® and the ABUS
SmartX app) or with the ABUS SmartX RC
remote control.
Up to 28 users can be entered; only one
user can access the lock at a time.
All locks in the ABUS SmartX series can be
operated with the ABUS SmartX RC remote
control.
The remote control serves as an alterna-
tive to using a smartphone. The manual
actions on each lock must also be perfor-
med as described in the instructions.

You will need the ABUS SmartX app to
program the remote control.
• Remove the battery protective strips
• The SmartX lock must already be
programmed with the SmartX app
• On your smartphone, the app must be
open and Bluetooth® and location
services must be enabled
• There must be a Bluetooth® connection
between the smartphone and the lock
• In the app, select the function “Add
accessories” and follow the instructions
• It is imperative to keep the ABUS
keycard in a safe place even aer
completing the setup! You need the
keycard for soware updates, if you lose
your smartphone, and for proof of
ownership for matters related to
warranty claims and repair. Do not give
the card to third parties.
Initial start-up for remote control
in the app
• Aer programming, the remote control
will be in “manual mode”: the SmartX
lock can be operated by pressing the
button on the remote control.
Operating the remote control
1. Manual mode:
The remote control only transmits aer
the button is pressed (transmits for
approx. 5 seconds). The LED will ash
green once to conrm
2. Switch mode (manual < > automatic)
Press and hold the button for about 5-15
seconds to switch modes. When you re-
lease the button, the LED will briey ash
green: the mode has been changed.
If the button is held for longer than
15 seconds, the mode will not be
changed, as this could be caused by
an object in a backpack accidentally
pressing against the button, for
example.

Disposal

Warranty
ABUS products are designed, manufactured
and tested in accordance with applicable
regulations with great care. The warranty
exclusively covers faults that are caused
by material or manufacturing defects. If
a material or manufacturing defect can
be proven, the product will be repaired or
replaced at the discretion of the warrantor.
In such cases, the warranty ends with
the termination of the original warranty

avez besoin du code QR pour la
programmation, les mises à jour
logicielles, en cas de perte du smart-
phone ainsi que comme preuve de

la carte à des tiers.

L’application ABUS SmartX est
indispensable pour la programmation de
la télécommande.
• Retirez la languette de protection de la
pile
• L’antivol SmartX doit avoir été
programmé au préalable avec
l’application SmartX
• L’application doit être ouverte sur le
smartphone et la fonction Bluetooth®
ainsi que le partage de position doivent
être activés
• Une connexion Bluetooth® doit être
établie entre le smartphone et l’antivol
• Dans l’application, sélectionnez la
fonction « Ajouter un accessoire » et
suivez les instructions dans l’application
• Après la programmation, la
télécommande se trouve en « mode
manuel » : l’antivol SmartX peut

maintenant être commandé d’une
simple pression sur le bouton de la
télécommande.
Utilisation de la télécommande
1. Mode manuel :
La télécommande n’émet qu’après avoir
appuyé sur le bouton (durée d’émission :
env. 5 secondes). Pour conrmer, la LED
clignote 1x en vert
2. Changement de mode (manuel < >
automatique)
Pour changer de mode, maintenez le
bouton enfoncé pendant 5-15 secondes.
Relâchez le bouton lorsque la LED clignote
brièvement en vert : le mode a changé.
Si le bouton reste enfoncé pendant
plus de 15 secondes, aucun change-
ment de mode n’a lieu car il peut
s’agir par exemple d’un appui
permanent involontaire causé par un
objet dans le sac à dos.
Signalisation LED en cas de changement de
mode : manuel > automatique
clignote 5x en vert
automatique > manuel
s’allume en vert pendant env. 3 sec.
3. Mode automatique :
La télécommande émet par mouvement
(durée d’émission : env. 8 secondes après
le dernier mouvement).

La télécommande émet également après
avoir appuyé sur le bouton (durée d’émis-
sion : env. 5 secondes). Pour conrmer, la
LED clignote 2x en vert.
4. Pile faible (Low Batt) :
Lorsque la puissance de la pile faiblit, la
télécommande passe en mode manuel
pour des questions d’économie d’énergie.
Signalisation LED en cas de pression sur le
bouton : clignote 1x en rouge. Remplacez
immédiatement la pile CR2032 3V par une
pile neuve (→ cf. Remplacement de la
pile).

Lees voorafgaand aan de montage en
ingebruikname deze handleiding zorg-
vuldig door. Bewaar deze handleiding en
informeer iedere gebruiker omtrent de
bediening.
Als u uw SmartX-slot voor het eerst gaat
gebruiken, hee u een smartphone met
Bluetooth® en de ABUS SmartX-app
nodig.
Het slot kan zowel met een smartphone
(Bluetooth® en ABUS Smart-app) als met
de afstandsbediening ABUS SmartX RC
worden bediend.
Er kunnen maximaal 28 gebruikers wor-
den aangemaakt; het slot is toegankelijk
voor één gebruiker per keer.
Alle sloten uit de ABUS SmartX-serie
kunnen worden bediend met de ABUS
SmartX RC-afstandsbediening.
De afstandsbediening dient als alternatief
voor het gebruik van een smartphone. De
handmatige acties aan het betreende
slot moeten aanvullend worden uitge-
voerd, zoals beschreven in de handleiding
van het slot.
